First contact your school to know the status of your admission and inquire on deferring considering that Omicron has made Canada ban students entry from Nigeria for now. As for your visa, it's still valid until it expires. However, you will need your admission letter to get your study Permit at the point of entry, so try to contact your school first to clarify your admission status before making payment. Regards demure178: Good day, been a while.. if you can still remember me, a lot have been sending me emails, I couldn’t reply because I got into some shit.. with efcc. But it’s all settled now. It wasn’t an easy journey due to crypto. Sorry if I couldn’t reply.
I would need an advise on this house. My visa got approve ending of July 2021. I was suppose to resume by September, but I couldn’t meet up. Cuz efcc came in august. So I defer to January entry.. my study permit visa expires by September 2022..
The question here is.. I am about paying my school for fanshawe. I couldn’t pay it then cuz of my problem.. thinking I won’t be able to travel again and all. But now that the matter don settle..
My admission for January, I think it’s close, the deadline was I should pay the school fees before October 20. Which I couldn’t do, because I didn’t know how long the matter was going to take and it was a serious one..
What can I do now? Can I defer to next admission which is may or June.. will I still be able to travel? Appreciate any appropriate answer. |

I think this will be a much better way at least, i have to resume by January oo Ketima: I believe this ban won't last for long. As time goes on, and after they must have studied the new variant, they will likely go ahead with their January 15 mandate that all must be vaccinated before entering. This time, even if you're fully vaccinated, you will still need to do COVID test at POE |

I hope that's a new way to handle people who are already fully vaccinated. Romoke1995: Congratulations please after showing them that you’re fully vaccinated they still ask you to quarantine again ? Is that a new implement |

If your lump sums have been consistently going in and out of the account for about 4 to 6 months, that should not be a problem since it's a business account. But ensure to explain the account in your LOE and never forget to show how you intend to ensure the business continues to run successfully in your absence. @Chiziteremary Jayrealest: It will be except you explain in detail the reason and need for the lump sum wt proofs to backup ur claims. If u will use lump sum deposit account, after explaining in detail please pay your fees to show funds availability. Betterif u can even avoid d lump sum. |

Traveling in January and also Centennial College. JoanJerome: Hello everyone... Is there anyone leaving for Canada this January? I got admitted to Centennial college and I'll be glad to connect with the person. I'll like to get information regarding accommodation/ travel plans so we can pair up. Also, anyone who has settled in Toronto area can give pointers to newcomers for relatively affordable residences. Ps: I'm female. |

Depends, if you are using his company account, you have to show he's the sole signatory to the account, attach the CAC for the company and the Directors list and state why the company is sponsoring your education plus the account must have enough funds to cover your expenses and still pay staff salaries while the personal account wouldn't need all those documents but must be solid enough to cater for your study, feeding and upkeep including his dependents. Cheers Whitenaira2014: Hello house,
Please I would like to know how many month statement of account will required from my sponsor. Also which of his account is best to be used i.e companies account or personal.

The things you must address are; 1. You have to prove legitimacy of the funds, its not just to have funds in your account, the source of the fund must be substantiated and no lump sum. 2. Your business and family are enough proof for home tie depending on how well you can structure your LOE. 3. Alignment between your proposed course of study and your work experience. 4. You have to choose a course worth traveling to Canada to study. The gurus here will also add or advise better. Best Wishes Collins4u1: That’s my problem, I’m thinking of sourcing for sponsorship, I believe that will solve it but then I don’t know how to go about it yet.
Can purchasing a piece of land solve the issue of home tie? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by CalcreteJB(m): 11:52am On Nov 07, 2021 |
So how do you intend to defend your proof of fund since you are self sponsoring? Collins4u1: Damn! Thank you for your time but I don’t qualify for any of your suggestion. |

Congratulations ManLikeMace: I don’t even know to feel right now. I just got my PPR today. Been applying as a self employed person since 2017 and this technically my 4th application because after my 3rd application was rejected I had to reapply again the 4th time. I can’t really remember all my time line but I’ll come back and tell you guys my experience since it’s abit different as I am self employed and also had to do a judicial review. |

Are you married? If not Are you an employee or a business owner? If you are an employee, get your employer to issue you a letter of introduction and a letter granting you leave of absence to study with part payment of your salary for the study duration with the clause that you are coming back to assume a more senior position in the company when you return. Be sure your course is in tandem with your position and work experience. If you are a business owner, show in your SOP reason why you are going to study your chosen course and how it stands to help your business and the country/economy. You must also be able to provide your plans on how the business will keep running in your absence to ensure the account stays liquid. Best wishes Collins4u1: Please how do I go about my sponsor issue. I can pay my school fees on my own let’s say 18k cad. I can also provide 10k cad proof of funds by my self. But I’m having this feeling that it might not be enough for financial proof based on self sponsor. If yes what’s the best way to tackle the issue , I don’t have any landed property nor anything for home tie.

The affidavit should suffice, If you have your original birth certificate, you should add it as evidence of the correct birth date. Teephour: Hello everyone, pls I want to confirm if my Waec certificate with a wrong date of birth and a court affidavit can suffice for a study permit Visa or can this be submitted to a school as one of the required document. |
