You will continue to be a sango, that I expressed support for the SW in a post does not make me a Yoruba, dump skull get that.

candidtalk:
See your life? You have claimed, amongst your many identities, to be Yoruba. Yet why do you say "you agreed to my submission that you won't get power in 2023" when you should say "you agreed to my submission that you we won't get power in 2023".

The saying below applies to you perfectly.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive?

I am for zoning and equity, so when I refer to your own know that I am talking about your protectorate not necessarily the personality. If thats what you are following to define where I hail from them you will continue living in confusion.

So GEJ misruled? What about OBJ's regime? Did he rule well? grin

The truth is whoever that wants to rule this country must get us to support him because without the North, you are wasting time.

If Igbos hate you go and make amends with them, the same way you love yourself made you guys vote against OBJ, but did he not win? That scenario shows you guys can't produce the president except backed up by atleast 4 geo-political zone.

candidtalk:
Please, who is "your own" we have betrayed? GEJ, SE or SS? when they accuse you of being Igbo you begin to cry not realising your argument gives you away because only Igbos reason and talk as you do. Betrayal is creating a political Party merger of APC, from mainly ACN and CPC, to depose the woeful and destructively corrupt PDP that happened to have GEJ as its latest 'gatekeeper'?

Because GEJ is from the south we Yorubas should ignore his misrule and swear blind allegiance to give him 95% of our votes as the Igbos did for southern solidarity ba? Nigeria could be dying and all you want is for us to return her potential killer to finish her off because we are "southern brothers"?

You Igbos are not only ignorant and hateful but highly undemocratic to boot also. Even brothers vote against brother and sons against fathers in Yorubaland in pursuit of democratic progress. You Igbos are still 100 of years behind and that is why you think we owed GEJ clannish votes even as he was simply disastrous and leading us to the edge of the cliff in 2014-2015.

Fun fact: I’m also not from the south, I’m a Hausa just supporting the Yoruba because I am confused like you.
You're entitled to what you think just like I have told you I'm a Northerner.

Power will shift to the South when we have completed our own 14 years, the south has done 14 years, so ours is still remaining 4 by 2023.

I advise when next you are engaging in an argument, leave tribe out of it but rather use region or protectorate.

It's tribal bigots like you that are holding this nation hostage.

We are not talking of 8 year, the South has had it for 14 years since 1999, by 2023 we are should have done 10, remaining 4. So get the mathematics and stop being foolish by attacking anyone who does not agree with you.

You built a new platform by betraying your own and claiming you worked hard? What happened to other years? Had it not before the north which formed alliance with the SW will you be saying you built a platform?

Referring to me shows how stupid you are, I am already reaping where I sowed and come 2023 I will sow elsewhere and also reap bountifully.

Who's winning now? grin

candidtalk:
What bone of contention? The cretinous argument that power will never go to the SW in 2023 and your pontification you prefer it to remain in the North, that would have had it by 8 years by then, because of your deep hatred of the Yorubas? Bruv, you are an embarrassment. They say "make hay while the Sun shines".

Igbos never did this and stuck with their PDP 'food is ready' politics while the Yorubas worked hard to build and support a new platform, APC, they now have every right to expect reciprocal support from ala one good turn deserves another.

You Igbos are naturally unfair as a people anyway so I get it that you feel your sworn enemy, APC, should now bless you and reject Yorubas who aided their birth, growth and success. Life does not work like that merely because it is how you people operate in Ala Igbo. Reaping where one has not sown is abhorrent worldwide. So also denying others just rewards for their effort. Only you Igbos don't get this.

Can you Igbos, always clannish and hateful in your voting pattern, ever vote as dispassionately as the Yorubas did for GEJ in 2015 even after his cruelty towards us?

How about how the Igbos betrayed Nigeria by giving a very corrupt and incompetent President 95% of their vote while the entire Universe was united in adjudging that GEJ must go for Nigeria to stand a chance of avoiding the implosion Jonathan was leading us towards? Oyo had Ajimobi ACN
Ogun had Amosun ACN
Lagos had Fashola ACN
Ekiti had Fayemi ACN
Osun had Aregbesola ACN
Ondo had Mimiko LP.

Another fun fact, the SS & SE caucus have formed alliance with the North more than the SW and yet the SW have emerged more than them in terms of southern presidency in Nigeria‘s history.

Hear this brethren, if you keep trying to play spoilers to the SW rather than forge your own future, the success of an Igbo presidency will forever be a mirage in as much as Nigeria exists!
As far as Nigeria is concerned, No southerner is smelling that seat, should we retain power via PDP the Igbos will be in a better position to get back power.

If you should talk about betrayal, it's the SW that has done that most, they helped remove Jonathan so they can take over but I assure you, just the same way Atiku helped in removing GEJ and couldn't smell that seat in the last general election, so will the Yoruba not get it in 2023.

Politics2023 Presidency: Beware of Yoruba, Junaid Mohammed warns Igbo by Calculating(op):
Until They Beg, Igbo Will Never Produce Nigeria’s President – Junaid Mohammed

The people of the South-East region, an area predominantly occupied by the Igbo tribe will never produce Nigeria’s president from their extraction until they humbly plead other Nigerians for it.

Junaid Mohammed, a second republic lawmaker, made the remarks while noting that those threatening to produce the next Nigerian leader or secede from the country are wasting their time.

Since the return to democratic rule in 1999, the South-East region has not produced a president from its extraction despite being one of the major ethnic group in the country.

Some residents of the area while claiming to be marginalised are threatening to secede from the country and are supporting the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), a proscribed group championing the secession cause.

Since President Muhammadu Buhari won his re-election bid, the call for who will succeed him in office has rented the air with some, including the Igbos, opining that it is the turn of the South-East region.

Although there is no zoning agreement in the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) it is believed that power will shift to the Southern protectorate, leaving the South-West as top contenders in the ruling party.

But some individuals considered influential in the Northern protectorate, including Mohammed, are clamouring for power to remain in the area.

Mohammed is also of the opinion that the South-West, predominantly occupied by the Yoruba tribe, should bury the thought of succeeding Mr Buhari in office.

“As far as I am concerned, if they, the Yoruba, believe that they have a divine right to have the Presidency in 2023, I think that they are being misguided,” the former lawmaker was quoted by Sun Newspaper to have said in an interview.

Mohammed warned that the South-East should not align itself with the South-West due to the alleged betrayal tendency of the Yoruba. He also explained how the Igbo can achieve their age long dream of producing a president from their extraction.

“But part of the problem today as I see it is that they are trying to repeat what they did to the Igbo historically. They would say “well, we are together, we would do everything together”. But when the time comes, they (Yoruba) will simply take their own way and do things to their own advantage. That is their look out and the look out of the Igbo people because apparently the Igbo people do not want to learn from history and that is a tragedy.

“And those of you who imagined, like our brothers in the Southeast, that they can put a gun on us all and say give us the Presidency or else, they are wasting their time.

“It is not going to happen until they do the needful, which is sit down and do their homework. Go round and persuade the rest of Nigerians that the destiny of this country, the wealth of this country, the security of the country, if made available to them, is going to be in good hands. That they are going to be fair, they are going to be more responsible, and they are going to do what perhaps others have not done in the previous administrations. Until you do that, this is the only way you can get the Presidency,” Mohammed was quoted as saying.

PoliticsMinimum Wage: Details Of New Adjustment Formula Agreed By FG, Labour by Calculating(op): 4:09am On Oct 18, 2019
The Federal Government has finally reached an agreement on the adjustment formula for the implementation of the new minimum wage.

The agreement reached late Thursday night was made known by Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment.

This is after several attempts by the negotiating parties failed to bear yield fruits, six months after President Muhammadu Buhari gave his assent to the N30,000 new minimum wage.

“After some delicate negotiations (with both Ministers as conciliators) Government & Labour have finally reached an agreement on the consequential adjustments of other wages following the implementation of the enhanced minimum wage of N30,000. We are now working on the communique,” Keyamo tweeted Thursday night.

Mr Keyamo provided further information on the agreement which was signed by both parties.

The parties agreed that officers on CONPSS salary structures of level 07 should be adjusted to 23.2 per cent, level 08 gets 20 percent, level 09 was modified to 19 percent, level 10 to 14 was pegged at 16 percent while those on level 15 to 17 was adjusted to 14 percent.

While those at CONHESS, CONRAISS, CONRISS II, CONRIASS II, CONMESS, CONTEDDIS and CONPCASS on level 07 to equivalent gets 23.2 percent, that of level 08-14/equivalent is 16 percent while level 15-17/equivalent was fixed at 10.5 percent.

Speaking at the end of the meeting, the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige, said the third category of the country’s wage structure which are military and paramilitary officers were also factored in in the agreement.

“Since they are not in the civil service , theirs will be communicated through the appropriate channels. Their percentages of increase is confidential,” he said.

With the new development, the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) will no longer embark on the planned industrial action it was warming up to.
