I have mailed them everywhere to explain my predicament and they are not responding. The cotonou embassy precisely because i selected this in my application. Facebook, email, whatsapp! On whatsapp they said sorry no appointment. The annoyance is that any random person can book a date without payment or verification or real details so its possible that people who booked months ago are not showing up for these appointments and yet they wont free up the appoinment space for applicants!

It's all about sustainability in NL, they are very intentional in achieving a sustainable life style. However don't be deceived they also love exotic cars as well.

Mail the embassy directly, I believe for you to want to secure an appointment date you already have an IND visa form. If you're a student tell them you need an earlier date to meet up with your academic activities and the available dates are too far. Make sure you are prepared before sending the mail, they can give you a very early date like 4 days from when they respond.

Going to another country comes with a lot of challenges, you will only be given certain dirty and menial jobs, but I think our people are ready to do anything out there just to survive.

They will never take such jobs in Nigeria

Majority of people travelling out nowadays go via the education route which makes it far more easier to land a good job.

Previously, most people just travelled to leave the country with no plan of survival. They fully depend on survival jobs as a source of livelihood, jobs that are just supposed to be transition jobs.

The new generation of immigrants go via scholarship or are sponsored by a company who has already provided a job for them.

Anyone currently going without a properly devised plan na big suffer head!

It drives me crazy to see international students pay tuition fees in Germany. I mean, if your parent have the money, then fine, but you don’t have to pay. Also, studying in a private university or public one where you pay tuition doesn’t influence your career opportunities in any way.
I think the major reason why people for paid study programs in Germany is because they either do not have the patience or we’re not informed well.
I have helped many Nigerians who came to Germany via a private university to switch to a public one. It gives me joy to save them that trouble and the money.

I'm about to start my Msc there, it's not tuition free. Only EU students get a subsidy and even then it's like 1k euros. For international students it's 18k + for a majority of schools.

When you say accepted do you mean you just got admission or you've been enrolled. If you've sorted everything regarding tuition out or you're on a scholarship, the school will start the visa process for you themselves. DO NOT start the visa process your self.

Depend on your bank, I've spent over 100 dollars on my GTbank naira MasterCard.

Actually that's why I'm asking, I usually keep my purchases below the 20 dollar limit. But I recently bought and item of over 30 dollars hence my asking to know if there's really a cap.

For the last 3 years Samsung has made a better camera than the iPhone. This is not my personal opinion but the professional opinion of well respected tech reviewers like MKBHD, Unbox therapy and Mrwhosetheboss on YouTube. Asides from that they do blind tests using unamed pictures from both phones and samsung photos almost always win. The only one that can be slightly argued is the s22 ultra and 13 promax. Why pictures on iPhone sometimes appear better when uploaded to apps like what's app is because the pictures are automatically compresssed and reduced in quality before they are uploaded. This is because these apps are specifically tailored to different versions of the iPhone for that year which is like 4 different models max which reduces the drop in quality. While for android there are so many phone brands samsung, pixel xaiomi and the likes so it's actually impossible to give the same fine tuning and integration to each phone and brand. If sent as documents or uploaded without size restrictions there is actually no comparison in image quality.

Honestly either is good. Latest versions of both phones cost about the same amount. The major difference is in flexibility, samsung offers more flexibility and customization than apple, features that have been existing on samsung/android for years are just being introduced to iPhones. Personally I'm using a samsung s20+ and it kicks the iPhone 11 from the same year. Its a personal choice tho, alot of people using iPhone just do so because of the hype/prestige while the phone stresses them out daily, especially people that moved from android to ios. When it comes to security and updates both phones guarantee at least 4 years.

Nobody uses the official CBN rate, even when you're using nigerian master/visa cards to carry out an international transaction on say ali express or amazon their rates are higher than CBN.


Also the official price of this particular phone Iphone 13pro max 512gb is $1399 if you factor in the exchange rate (let's assume access bank rate 505 not black market 570) and actual shipping fee there's really no big difference in price.

Hmm I don't think the difference is as much as you think, maybe 100k or there about especially when you factor in dollar variations.

The price you see most times outside Nigeria is the value of the base versions of these phones, that is lowest price point possible. Which is why most times you see "starting from", the higher versions like let's say 13pro max 512gb or 1TB are more expensive than that base price commonly stated.
