One of such is Section 4, subsections 1, 2 and 3 which states that: “It shall be unlawful for a landlord or his agent to demand or receive from a sitting tenant, rent in excess of three months in respect of any premises. @Poster Please help us post the law as it affects the un-sitting-yet tenants. Politics / Re: Northwest Flight 253 Leg-bomber Is Son Of Dr.umaru Abdul Muttalab, by calyx: 10:33pm On Dec 26, 2009 |
You are re-tarded. Sagamite ur a big fool! its not Sanusi's job to c heck how much his friend's are worth but its his damned job to know how many houses any director of a bank has and how much they are worth!!!!!Its a job he gave himself and he cant afford to be seen as keeping sacred cows! It is beggars belief the kinda daft posters that respond to a thread on this forum. . . These sanusi apologists can never surprise me! So now theres no concrete evidence that he owns the property. I beg you show me whereever its mentioned that sanusi has provided any sort of evidence(including as basic as pictures) of the houses he claims the bank directors have in different countries that is enough to shoot them! Pig heads all of you. |
Politics / Re: Northwest Flight 253 Leg-bomber Is Son Of Dr.umaru Abdul Muttalab, by calyx: 10:07pm On Dec 26, 2009 |
While SANUSI LAMIDO SANISU was busy chasing bank chaimen and directors that have petty houses in dubai and make transfers of N10 million or below, he closed his eyes to the enormous amount being thrown around by his friends! How come this boy lives in a house worth 4-8 million in dollars?? Thats just one of the houses! The last time i checked Dr Muttalab does not even own First Bank!!!! |
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Soludo Is Pdp Candidate - Supreme Court by calyx: 6:09pm On Dec 18, 2009 |
On the issue of Banking. The last decade or more was a time of Financial Boom in the Banking industry worldwide. This Boom was fuelled by innovative activities like 'Securitization'. Some Financial experts have written about this phenomenon with the Governor of the Bank of England describing the era as an era of enourmous 'search for yield' while professor Markus Brunnemeier of Princeton University in New Jersey describe it as what he called 'Originate and distribute' which replaced conservative banking processes. Yes the period was a period of high risk taking worldwide and Nigerian banks took part in those high risk taking in our quest to compete with others in the global economy. @ Mike Am wowed by this excellent piece. I try to understand though when some Nigerians call for Soludo's head. Am kind of suprised smtimes when people weave elitism to the events of Soludo's era and a little thereafter. A lot of work was done and am sure most people understand it. But you know, the hunger in the land wont go away in an eye-blink and so people will still be angry. Good piece there mike. |
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Soludo Is Pdp Candidate - Supreme Court by calyx: 2:44pm On Dec 18, 2009 |
If Soludo is your relative & u r writing based on sentiments, pls let us know. Obviously, Nigeria is d only place your father will b a thief, your mother a criminal, your siblings murderers & yet you keep quiet. One day, they will turn around & kill u. We shldnt habour criminals; personally, I cant. It pains me that we dance abt when it favours us & change dancing steps when it doesnt favour us. The truth is, we cant continue 2 leave this power in d hands of killers and corrupt set of recycle dragons. Change must come by. It bothered me so much in 2006/2007, during d 3rd term debacle, when America was calling "CHANGE, CHANGE, WE CAN BELIEVE IN" which saw Obama in power; and Nigeria was saying "CONTINUITY." @ bokoharam The only credit i give to you is that you write good english. However, it will pay if you use your head more! |
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Soludo Is Pdp Candidate - Supreme Court by calyx: 2:41pm On Dec 18, 2009 |
wonder why people are rejoicing. Are we rejoicing that his appointment was democratic? Are we happy dt PDP dt frudulently fielded him has bn doing well in governance? R we happy that corrupt Soludo, who turned d banking industry into a laughing has left a good legacy in that subsector? Are we celebrating that we do NOT know that UBA sacked yet another set of hundreds of staff ystdy? This is outside Zenith, Intercont, Oceanic, Spring etc sacks and paycuts in others. All these are happening bc he left charf & shams as legacy. Now, to correct the system, heads are rolling and poor employees are suffering. The good thing is that I have noticed that people that make these kind of comments are GROSSLY uninformed. You cant in a blanket manner posit that soludo is either corrupt or connived with bank MDs. You have not shown in the slightest sign that you have been following up with unfolding events in the banking sector. I sincerely think more Nigerian should read more. This is the genesis of our continuous basking in commatose! |
Politics / Re: Breaking News: Soludo Is Pdp Candidate - Supreme Court by calyx: 1:20pm On Dec 18, 2009 |
But i wonder why the supreme court is always controversial. Is it not the same court and the same people that handled the Amaechi vs Omehia case? Why give a different judgment? Omehia was a consensus candidate, same was Soludo. I guess Hillary Clinton knows Nigeria better than us (Nigerians). Omehia's name was substituted against Amaechi's name. Soludo's name was not! Thats the difference. The law is not amala! |

It appears as if the guys at punch have gotten back to their senses. I was surprised to find that they have repented of their childish ways. Who on earth in their right senses will pay to access a Newspaper's Website when the others offer theirs for free? My thinking exactly! Whatelse do i want to read in punch that i wouldnt have read in vanguard, this day or guardian. Instead of paying that 1500, i wld rather be reading bogus saharareporters or Next free. |

Giving him the boot may not be too fair considering that he was able to successfully beg the coach of mozambique to help him qualify. Be that as it may, i think Amodu should be retained as the Chief Coach Administration (Begging & praying for other other teams to lose), while we get a technical assistant that will deliver the trophy, |
