I do not think any body has started work by virture of that march interview. I hear its possible that exercise may be cancelled though I pray against it because am a hopeful. Meanwhile does it mean there is no one that did that interview that could give us an authoritative state of events with regards that outing here?

I had to call her after two years, congratulating her on her graduation from NYSC. She could not believe I still had her no(which of course I still had in my head).

Well, I could not believe she still remembered my number(which she never had in her phone) cos she just picked and exclaimed my name,

@ atilla

Am sorry i dont know how this sounds but besides the 9 issuing houses that are offering Access bank shares, I could not find Citi Investment Capital amongst all the 25 banks and 186 receiving agents that are collecting for investors.

Now, it could be that your name was mistakenly left off the prospectus and besides that, I know you can still collect as a stockbroking firm but it wont be too good if we appear like the intent is not originally to make Nairalanders see reasons why the investment is a good one.

Am sure that if all Nairalanders that are interested decide to buy through us, I will surely meet my target and am sure you will get reasonable commission too. So we take it easy.
One Love.

I thank Nairalanders who have been getting in touch with me for investment in Access bank shares.I also ask other Nairalanders who have concluded their analysis and resolved to invest in Access bank to please contact me through;

I don't want to unduely interfer with our different opinions on investment in Access bank but I know that a company who
could go all the way to ensure that excellence and ethics is highly maintained by her work force combined with a crop of
well trained, highly selected performers has only positive results to achieve.
Personally I have decided that having to work as hard as I do, almost having my life controlled by the work,my relatives
also will stand to reap the benefits of my hardwork.
You also have an opportunity to take part in this offer today,  afterall we are still brethren in Nairaland.

please mail or call me so you can buy from me. Just like with our customers, the investor- contacts you make is an appraisal mark for the staff of the bank.

Thank you.

CareerRe: Entry Level Package For Banks You Know? by calyx: 1:48pm On Jul 13, 2007
@ Everbright.

You are very wrong. You dont need to know anybody to get a job in Access bank. The Bank has a policy of releasing results of tests anytime within 72 hours of conduct of such tests and because of the massive nature of our employment now, it makes it even easier to mark and release the results immediately since the tests are in small batches and because we have to avoid clogging the process up. You usually find that in a test done by 70 persons,about 10 persons or less turn out successful and the process has to be as strict as it is now if we must continue to produce the best brains in the industry.

The choice you have is work harder and you may have the opportunity of scaling thhrough the next time.

Warmest regards,
CareerRe: Entry Level Package For Banks You Know? by calyx: 9:50am On Jul 13, 2007
Access bank pays 2.6 million naira gross per annum for entry level having undergone the intensive 4 months training. 2.2million is guaranteed while .4million is tied to performance.
Out of the guaranteed 2.2, take home per month is 121 thousand while the rest comes as allowances/medicals.

InvestmentRe: Looking For A Buyer For Your Shares? by calyx: 1:17pm On Jul 04, 2007
Thanks guys for keeping it real here.

This is to inform nairalanders that Access bank plc one of the fastest growing banks in Africa is coming to the market live as from 19th july to raise fresh funds in her quest for expansion, technological developmement and increase in capitalization which will position her  better to enlarge her business coast in the finance industry.

Access bank parades one of the best sets of staff and management(Access warriors) across the nigerian finance industry and this led to the triple digit growth of profit(576%),
from 1.1 billion in 2006 to 8.0 billion in 2007.

Access bank currently took the banking jihad to Sierra leone after Gambia and has equity relationship with reputabble international organisations like FMO and International finance corporation.

Access bank is thus calling on well meaning Nigerians home and abroad to invest in this deal of a lifetime which starts running from 19th july as a public offer.
The offer goes for N14.90 while the market price as technically suspended is N19.32, according the investors a 23% comfort.

I call on nairalanders to take advantage of this opportunity to join a moving train, investing in a world-class Nigerian bank which is positoned to return adequate returns on our investments.

For more information on the offer,and those that will buy, please contact;

Callistus on 08037798045 or ohajic@accessbankplc.com

Please dont make fool of yourself using this medium because there are so many other cheap ways you can do that. If you dont know how to make your topic reflect whatever you have to say then go and learn before you raise people's temperature unnecessarily.
SportsRe: Nigeria Fa Suspend John Mikel Obi by calyx: 6:16pm On Jun 28, 2007
@9ja4eva

You are almost making me think you strongly have something personal against mikel. let us all check ourselves very well before we reel out condemnation to others. In as much as we realize how important it is for the players to hacken to national calls, we should not judge others harshly. All of us(NFA and my friend 9ja4eva inclusive) have had opportunities to make positive impacts on at least one aspect of the country's growth; how did we excuse our inability to do that, and even when we might be of sound mind and body. Am not advocating indiscipline but the good book says"do onto others as you would have them do to you."
We can give that young lad another chance!

@Laudate

I really do think you should make your contributions allign with a post in question. You almost made me believe we were contributing on how to let the osu sytem hold sway since it seems 'every Igbo is osu' instead of our own efforts to disassociate ourselves at least from such practice.
CultureRe: Let's End The 'Osu' Problem by calyx: 7:40am On Jun 15, 2007
This's been an issue really but the truth is that just like most people have acknowledged in this thread, its a system that is fast fading away especially with people finding out that all the embriglo about you or your children dying if you marry an osu is nothing but what has existed in people's minds from story tales of generation before them.
We on our part can learn from this and help put an end to this archaic practice.
