Really? So targeting the heart of the "kidnapper" is a better option. Its depends on the degree of force (gun battle) and also Rule of Engagement. This is no war but a criminal offence. If suspects keyword suspects are killed without a chance of legal representation/defence what do u think will become of the common man or undercover officers. I have watched d video over n over those testicles was blast at close range could be mallet or gun not just one person testicle was blown. So d SARS officers went aiming the testicles when they were in a gun battle? My friend, be civil n logical. What do u think is d opinion of International body when they watch the video or you think no one watching it? These is one of the rationale why the Nigeria Police was rated d way they were rated but rather than facing the issue they were attacking the messenger and forgetting to give proper attention to d message.
Mr. Man you need help and person's like you will be recruited into the police/paramilitary and Armed Force(s). Psychiatric test needs to be conducted on officers and prospective officers before recruitment so we can have intelligent officers and not mediocre. #TriggerHapperOfficerEverywhere

What happened to "Innocent until proven guilty" before you clap your hands for the SARS officers remember that this is Nigeria and that they could be innocent despite confessing to the crime out of duress. Crime DOESN'T pay I know but those "kidnappers" deserve better treatment. Before you attack my post hope you know the duties of the Judiciary? and the "Principle of Separation of Power"?. Video like this make me remember the saying "Nigeria is a zoo". The SARS officers ough to bow their heads in shame

I have read this your piece more than 10 times. Despite it is written in line and stanza it seem more like an essay than poetry putting in mind that in poetry ideas and words are used in a manner that is suggestive. Too much surface meaning when compared with metaphorical meaning. In line 2 of the poem, one would have expected you to use an object or idea to symbolically represent "Day" and "Night"
The last stanza is cool but in the preceding stanza one would have expected more use of 'Use of contrast'. While making use of contrast you could be more favourably disposed to either Day or Night that has being symbolically represented.
The above is my critique of your work and this criticism is NOT meant to 'bad mouth' your piece but to pass judgement on it in a manner that is objective. Wouldn't be a bad idea should you decide to rewrite the piece i sincerely look forward to more of your works. I title of your piece got my attention
Recommendation: I will recommend you read Adeoti Gbemisola poem titled "N.a.k.e.d Sole" although his poem and yours are on different subject matter you could learn alot from the poem and on the "Use of Contrast" i made mention of earlier you could read Gabriel Okra poem titled "Piano and Drums" .

First Rule you got totally wrong. If your lover is going to camp make sure there is NO issue on ground or at least any outstanding issue is settled prior to her departure. Trust me the temptation boys/girls face in Orientation camp and when they resume work at their PPA is massive for those who are faithful and have no pending issue before departure not to talk of those who have pending relationship issues before leaving camp. You lucky that your girl have the decency to tell you plainly as she left for camp because when she finally get a BF or B.A.N.G mate you wont even know that your Boo has a Boo that is not even you.

I can't say much about the camp but it's not expensive living here. You'd want to live in Benin city as its the economic hub of Edo State. Accommodation is affordable, just don't go for GRA and some parts of Sapele Rd, they are not advisable for one who isn't a big earner. 200 can take you anywhere within the city with some change leftover. Food is generally cheap, as cheap as can be. At the end of the day, it depends on what you're used to. It's a little boring though but you'd be alright welcome to my home state.

Weldone, for saying nice of the state which offcourse is very true. Am Benin as well although presently out of the state but nice to see my own. Wo ye?

I DON'T smoke. However, I can never judge anyone's character based on the person is a "smoker" or "non smoker". From my observation, smokers (at least majority i know) are very nice n wonderful fellow. I have no problem whatsoever making friend with a smoker (just don't persuade or try sweet-talking me into smoking n I won't talk you out of smoking, if you smoke responsibly). No doubt, there is a strong bond among smokers but you as a non smoker you need to know what you really want for you to be firm in your decision of not smoking.
PS: It's much more easier for a cow to go through the eyes of a needle than for me to be influenced by peer pressure.

I was viewing this thread as a guest I had to log in to my account just to correct you. First of all. Do you reside in Kogi? I guess NOT. I reside temporary in Kogi n have being in the state for more than 9 months. [b]I strongly feel the media has not given a voice to the helpless civil servant in the state. Majority of persons in d state are suffering, money is not circulating in the state. Visitors like us are even the one's puttin money in the economy as a result of our purchase. I was so happy when I heard before I read that Dino had sent bags of rice as gift to d civil servants in the state. Perhaps Dino has empowered this civil servant or he had perhaps secured a visa (without Dino help) n due to travel overseas for greener pasture but whether Dino has helped this civil servant to ridicule Yahaya Bello or not or whether Dino is helping the people of the state for cheap political gains or not. Whatever the reason for him deciding to help the people of the state one thing is for sure is that Dino should be applauded n not persecuted.
Disclaimer: Like I said am a visitor in the state. I have no family member or "close friend" who is a civil servant in Kogi State Civil Service Commission as am not directly or indirectly a beneficiary of whatever goody bags to that has been disbursed to d civil servants as my findings are sincere and unbiased

The last time I was in Benin (2 months ago) there was a schedule 12am to 06am (Light) 06am to 12pm (NO LIGHT) 12pm to 06pm (LIGHT) 06pm to 12am (NO LIGHT) n they rotate it every 14 days. Have they changed it?
Due to be in Benin soon I hope they must have improved on it by then.

AEDC of late there have improved. There is even power supply as am typing. I will rate them 65% (perhaps its because there is usually light during Prime Time)
