RomanceRe: Is It Ok To Wash Her Menstrual Stain Pant? by cantell(m): 12:27pm On Apr 25, 2010
@Poster,
We're not idiots. If you want to lie, think of something better. No sane girl would ask you to wash her blood-stained pants. Even the laziest bull among them always make out time to wash their undies.
Bros no be by force to post.
FamilyRe: My Wife Is Giving Me Problem by cantell(m): 11:34pm On Apr 24, 2010
The main problem is that there's no way of knowing if she's really having pains in her belly. If she's truly having those pains in her belly and you leave her to attend the birthday, there could be problems which could result to something you'll deeply regret.
If she doesn't like your friends, its likely you're moving with the wrong crowd and she doesn't like it or she feels you hang out a lot with your friends when you should be with her.
Some women love to have their husbands all to themselves and they wouldn't want to share their hubby even with his male friends.
Call your sister and tell her the situation at home. She'll understand.
So long.
Think twice before you take any step.

I am not contradicting you but, are you sure you are not genrelasing?

My sister-law is Nigerian, and her husband gives her chocolates from time to time (I'm always nabbing them from her) she likes them.
They're not in Nigeria right? I'm very sure of that. Cos if they are, she'll probably like to have Gold,Hollandis,ashoke etc. Unless these things comes with the box of chocolates.
Besides, you're talking about married couples.

SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Argentina: Curtailing The Messi Threat? by cantell(m): 3:39pm On Apr 22, 2010
@poster,
i don't know much about formation and stuff, but i know that the last time messi played against Nigeria, chibuzor okonkwo(former Bayelsa United star) didn't give him a chance. He played around the guy till the end of the match. If someone like him holds him like he did last time, we'll have less to worry about.

Yea 4 years is really a long time and as always you do have a point!

But what if they both marry their present BF/GF and still not be able to get over the connection they feel for each other now! Wont it be disastrous huh
You sound as if you're the one experiencing this. Or are you the one?
@Topic,
The golden rule comes in.
If you're the GF to the guy and another old GF of his, comes in to take your BF away, will you be happy?
Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.

It depends on what appeals to her.
It would be crazy for you to buy something like a box of chocolates for a naija babe.

RomanceRe: What Is The Right Age Difference Between You And Your Partner? by cantell(m): 11:21am On Apr 22, 2010
@Poster,
i agree with you. Five years is the best bet. If you marry someone several years younger than you, its likely you'll listen to her ideas less, owing to the fact that you're several years older.

My humble opinion: I doubt you can be in love with two people. You can date two people at the same time and like each of them for different qualities they bring to the relationship
so true.

munky:
Divorce should not be an option at all, I have seen children rendered useless because their parents split up, if its battering then the marriage should be dissolved but most divorces are not about battering at all,

Some women would just decide to leave their husbands because they have somebody outside,
some is money issues,
Thats exactly what i was talking about. These women have watched too much of "when you are mine"(Diego & Paoloma) and they have refused to accept reality.
Instead they fantasize about things that do not exist. Next thing they do is seek for divorce to look for their "Prince charming".

FamilyRe: Funny Nigerian Divorce cases by cantell(m): 8:34pm On Apr 19, 2010
0hsisi:
I am an Igbo woman and I have this observation to make.
I believe Yoruba women are light years ahead of the other southern women when it comes to leaving an irresponsible husband.
I am all for marriage,don't get me wrong.
I advocate marriage but in cases where it just isn't working out,a woman ought to leave with her mental state intact than die or run mad trying to lead a dead horse.
Divorce rate in Igbo land is very very low compared to the south west.
Doesn't necessarily mean that Igbo marriages are happier.
Yoruba women are so empowered that they would not put up with drunkards and dead beats.
This is one thing I believe other women ought to learn from them.
There should be a limit any woman can take.
The rate of wife beatings would drastically reduce when these abusive men know the woman will not put up with it and that the courts can grant her full custody of her children.
Story! You should speak for yourself! Don't include other Igbo women. If you're the type that runs away from the husband or seeks for divorce at any slight problem, carry on. Just don't try to get others to be like you.
Are you trying to say that you're wiser than all the Igbo women who choose to be in their husbands house?
My parents has been together for thirty something years now and they are happy. They have their problems but they always settle it amicably.
I could remember in 1998 when my mum fell sick. She was ill for like close to 2yrs. My dad spent all He had just to make sure she gets well.
Finally when she got well, my dad had little or no money, but she stayed with him till he got to his feet again.
Thats the way marriage should be! For better, for worse. Not jumping out of marriage because you feel like.
Have you wondered why most Igbo guys(even other guys from other tribes) always marry Igbo women? The answer is simple. They want a marriage that'll last.
Get that into your thick skull!

FamilyRe: What Do I Do?pls Advice Ma by cantell(m): 11:20pm On Apr 17, 2010
You know ur hubby very well and i believe you know the best way to handle him. Most of the replies you'll get here would probably make matters worse or do nothing.
It'll be better if you talk to him and explain ur situation better. It happens to many women and you won't be the first or last.
Some even spend theirs frivolously and yet their husband will still understand.
Just talk to him.
Best of luck.
