The difference is when you were winning many games earlier, you were outdoing your xG to achieve that. In the Aston Villa game that you won 3-0 their xG was 2 point something and yours was 1 point something which means you should have lost that game 1-2 based on the chances created.
But you won with a clean sheet. Now it seems those stats are coming to bite you. Meanwhile, City are on the ascendancy and even though Liverpool have kind of plateaued, theirs is still healthier than yours.

That's a lie. Aston villa never had an xG of 2. In that game. Chelsea created 2 big chances to Villa 1.
