Bruno can't move to his AM because it does not exist in this formation. He can't bench Cunha or Mbeumo. If this manager survives and we persist with this formation, then we should offload Bruno as well.

Wharton, Anderson, Baleba in. Bruno, Case, Ugarte out. Bruno is not a bad player, but his captaincy and "my captain must play 90 mins" policy will increasingly be a problem as we buy better players.

My point was/is that we still need to bin him for someone younger and more athletic. He is the only in the club that can play the position in the club that is why it is happening. This is why i was hoping for 2 midfield reinforcements this last transfer window.

I already knew Mainoo will struggle in that midfield 2 since last season and Ugarte is a waste of space from time.

The fact that we struggle when he comes off the pitch says more about our other CMs and our recruitment than it says about him.

Yeah. I agree completely with you. I was trying to point out how he is important now. Even his reaction time at the beginning of the game was very slow, On a better day for Baleba and Ayari, we would have been in trouble early on.
Honestly we need to carefully scout for at least 2 midfielders of his profile. Just find a buyer for Ugarte.
I think Wharton for a starter. I desperately want Bruno to move to his natuaral AM position.

The issue is that national team camps usually open two weeks to the start of the competition. They would need an exceptional waiver to report late.

Considering that they are key players and the time of the tournament, they will give concessions. Trust me they will both play Villa, Mazraoiu will not though because Morroco is playing on 21/12.

Which one on one saves did he make in Afcon? On 2 rare occasion when our tight defence allowed a one to one agaisnt him versus Guinea bissau and Angola, he was either saved by the bar or the ball went wide. The one on one he faced away to Benin in the world cup qualifiers he conceded.

Misinformation. The only reason Joseph Wollacott missed the 2022 world cup was a hand injury.
They realised nothing because even recently their 1st choice GK is Benjamin Asare of Accra Hearts of Oaks.

Coach Otto Addo prefers a Local GK ahead of Ati Zigi based in Europe (St Gallen in Switzerland). Also, he still calls Wollacott as one of his 3 GKs.

So again cease the Cho Cho Cho and rest. Let things take shape naturally.

Look at you. Wollacot was the GK for most of the world cup qualifying campaing becauss Richard Ofori of Orlando Pirates was injured in 2021. During the world cup Wollacot was injured but was included in the squad.
By AFCON 2023, he was the 3rd choice GK behind Ofori and Ati Zigi.

As for Benjamin Asare their current Number 1. He has kept record number of clean sheets in Ghannian leagie with Hearts of Oak and they finished 3rd last season. In Heart of Oaks there is winning mentality. If Nwabali is performing for Hearts of Oaks like Asari i wont be worried.

My point still stands Enyeama might be fumbling crosees a few times but he was solid most times even during his early days in SE.

As at 2002, Enyimba already won back to back leagues in a more competitive Nigerian league. At that time he was not even the first choice. Ike Shorommu was. He only became first choice when his team were dominating Africa
