Bruno and Cavani are serious players they have bailed the team in several occasions, one or two blips is acceptable, I watch bayern games and see Lewandowski miss sitters, last week I also saw Halaand miss a contender for the miss of the century. The difference between those players and martial is that they put in good shifts and are very serious, same with Bruno and cavani. Players miss chances, its on the manager to read the dynamics and move on, make changes and continue digging in. You captured all the truths here. But most man utd fans recently are usually deluded.
The main reason Ole misbehaves and gambles anyhow was that he just needed to string together 2 wins and boom! his job is safe. Lampard doesn't have that luxury so is all Chelsea managers since Abramovic came, thats why they dont joke or do mr nice guy with aany player they are result oriented

You win league this season with Chelsea, or even double, show no real sign of progress next season, you are off. Ancellotti, Conte and Mourinho are typical examples, Di matteo won UCL and FA cup cup the previous season, he did not last up to Xmas. Or you come in as a manager, performs below the person you replaced, you are off too by xmas, you dont even need to be awful. Chelsea have not been better than Man United player for player for many seasons, but they always win something, the difference is the quality of the managers and how serious the club prioritises results, thats why united Job is usually coveted, because you can misbehave anyhow you want and still finish the season. Last season Ole was clearly on the ropes and was set to miss out on top 4 until Covid19 and the lucky signing of Bruno gave him a ridiculous lifeline. Because pogba and Rashford were already out of the season if not for covid. With a serious club, Ole would have been off at the end of last season after bottling FA cup and Europa Semis.

Its also baffling, that a so called big club like United, indulges players who are clearly not good enough for years before offloading them, we persist with them, pampering them, paying them extortionate wages and still they can't play their hearts out, eg Martial and Pogba, we also persist with injury prone players and refuse to offload.

I know it might not be popular at the moment but DDG should not be earning more than Oblak, Neuer, Allison, Ter Stegen and Hugo Lloris for whatever reason, DDG only cut out his errors and raring to go due to his place is in danger now. He was relaxed for a long time dropping disasterclasses week in week out until Henderson came, that goes for other outfield players.

Check any club with high manager turnover, they are usually successful, because the managers are result oriented and doesnt experiment. Imagine Solskjaer leaning coaching with a club like Man United. Del Bosque won league and 2 UCL with Madrid, he was off once he was eliminated by Juve in the semis of UCL despite winning the league that season, Ancellotti, Ben schuster, Henkyes, Capello and even Mourinho won something but were sacked the moment the saw signs of slacking, the result is there fall all to see, same with bayern, same with Barca. This is Bruno calling on team mates to regroup immediately after cavani equalised vs Southampton.
Its not jyst about the passes, the goals, the assist or performance. Bruno brings incredible mentality through leadership to the team. That's why I dont really care about his in field game performance, he has moments of magic somewhere in him.
