We are not developing anything. We have Pogba, Bruno, Cavani, Matic, DDG, shaw, Telles, VDB, Mata in our team, we are not developing. No team is better than us now in EPL, we can at least challenge. Nobody shoyld decieve you with that developing nonsese

You need to see Bruno's reaction to Rashford's goal yesterday and right there you'd see a man who believes impossible is nothing...

Ask them why Sporting CP and Ac Milan are challenging for title. Even Rangers od Scotland. Teams that were far far behind previous seasons

Talking about being a big team, in the period under consideration, we have won one FA Cup, UEL, Carling Cup and Community Shield and reached the final of the FA Cup as well as semi finals of major cup competition...The only thing missing is the EPL title and UCL...Is this Manchester United standard? Hell no but we've been thereabout...Do we have the quality to nount a serious challenge? I say YES in the affirmative...We have the right mix of experience and youth to blend...When you look at the investment in the squad and the quality of players we have, it'd be shocking if we don't see ourselves as strong contenders...

If we are not contenders now, is it next season when Liverpool are back to full fitness and City with a refreshed team that we will be contenders?

Baba forget all these people. They dont know history. We are not asking to win the title, we are asking for a challenge. Go to Liverpool fan pages and see the way they are scared whenever we win any match, some cheeky ones keep talking down our title chances, but deep down they are scared to death.

Since January this year we have gathered more points than any team in the EPL, that a 30+ match stretch, so how is it not a title winning form?
Spurs never prepared for a title challenge in 2016 and 2017 but they gave it go when they saw the opening, so why are all these people trying to shout us down for daring to dream.

This unexplainable urgency to win big is the reason we’ve fallen so deep since SAF left. The want for instant success is the reason Mourinho was appointed and look at where it brought us. If you dont have a good squad, if you haven’t built a team of challengers, changing managers anyhow is just time wasting. You can buy the new manager 13 players and things still won’t work. You people want a team that has been collecting an average of 66 points per season to suddenly become challengers.

The problem is that peeps don’t look at where we’ve been and compare it with where we are.

FYI, Man Utd hasn’t been a “big” team for the last half decade. We’ve only played UCL football 2-3 times and have been struggling locally. So all these talks about “we’re big, we should be challenging “, I don’t know where you guys get it from.

The first step is to move in the right direction - and that’s claiming 80 points and above this season. It’s going to be an upgrade from last season. That’s the barest minimum , if we claim a title in the process, good. But title should not be the main main.

From there we can move on, upgrade and then become contenders every season.

At the beginning of the season the expectation was a top 4 finish given how the TW went but 2 months later you guys are demanding a title. Cool down nao.

And we are telling you that 80 points +/- 5 can win the league this season so why not try it out? If Acmilan and Sporting CP are currently challenging their league titles why not united?. These teams barely played UCL in the past 5 years

I dont think you are in the board meeting where it was discussed that tge expectations is top 4. Leicester's expectations weren't league title when they won it. Liverpool finished 4th more than 20 points of man city in 2018 and lost the next seasons title by a point, before that they last played champions league Once in 9 years. Chelsea finished 10th in 2016 and won it the next.
Baba stop lowering expectations, if you dont want a title race leave us alone to chase it, if we fail we fail.

He had an ok game today.

Baba DDG is one of our most senior players we have right now, both in terms of experience and top level professional football, he is the only surviving member of our last title win( bar Jones), he is expected to be a leader and even captain now urging the younger ones on. He is a world class GK one of the best in the world and has already cemented his legendary status in Man United. So i get very disappointed whenever he commits silly mistakes that lets the team down expecially when it has to do with lack of concentration. Go and watch Van der sar and Schmeichel, these guys on thier one wins extra points for the team expecially when it gets very edgy in the season, not just for thier dives, saves and punches. So DDG is supposed to be that man. In case you dont know Schmeichel wasnt ecen in form during the 1999 season, but his intimidating presence and leadership charisma was one of the reasons we won the treble.
Have you ever seen me criticise Greenwood, Williams and Mctoms etc? on this board even when i do its subtle. But players like Pogba, Bruno, DDG, Marguire,Lindelof and Shaw are supposed to be leaders so we dont only expect their football abilities only on the pitch, we also expect character, psychological strength, grit and tenacity to win things.
Sir Alex teams didnt win those several trophies just by the pkayers footballing abilities alone, they won mostly with work ethics. Imagine if we have people with Bruno’s mentality like 5 in this team we will be wrapping up titles right left and centre.

In 1999 for eg there are Stam, Keane, Beckham, Schmeichel and Irwin as absolute professionals and leaders plus even Ronny Jonsen.

In 2008 we had Giggs, Rooney, Van der sar, Ronaldo, Scholes, Carrick, J.S Park, Vidic and Ferdinand.
I don't want to even go to Cantona, Bruce, Hughes, Robson, Kanchelskis and Gary Pallister who formed the bedrock for the successful fergie years.

So in summary i dont hate DDG, infact he is one of my favourites, were is tge defensive organisation? Where is him screaming and scolding Lindelof, AWB or even Fred & Mctom in DM? Where is him commading his box, scaring away oppositions players, were are the occasional penalty saves in tight games? Where is him making it known to the defence line that he won't tolerate any loss of focus? These little things counts at the end of the season in tight title races and these are the trademark of legendary goal keepers whom DDG is at the level

If not for Bailly Traore and Podence for wreck us. Bailly's potential is the highest out of our senior CBs but he has decided to be a doctor. If he continues on that path he will end up being the next Phil Jones.

Is Bailly the final puzzle to our defence jigsaw?

Dont worry yourself they are still getting there. They wont know what hit them. They have some really tasty fixtures coming up. I dont see them getting more than 5 points in in possible 15. Specially their match versus Fulham will be more harder than what people think.

I use to work close to Craven cottage before its a walking distance from Stanford Bridge so they are rivals and neighbours. It will be tough for Chelsea.

I don't like Luke Shaw, but judging from what I have seen so far Telles is not an upgrade.

Shaw is actually better than what we all thought he is. The guy is a competent LB only few LBs are his upgrade.
