1st correction. He has been way below average in the league. The squad is much better than 14th position.

2nd correction. He will get the 1st half of next season. Oct to Dec is historically the sack time.

If there is not significant improvement by the first few months of next season he should and will be shown the door.
But Doc this has always been the normal plan, if he gets a certain among of signings and yet no improvement then he can be sacked

This was a very winnable 3-1 game but it was yet another game where none of our forwards could score the myriad of chances created.
Garnacho was Fantastic. Bruno, Mount, and Hojlund missed Sitters from his balls in

I swear ETH open eye buy Antony, Hojlund, Onana, Mount and L.Martinez for a Combined 300m. If this club survive from the atrocities of Ten hag then it's a miracle. That man is Armagedom
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CapitalCee(m): 4:05pm On Apr 20, 2025
After they our fans will say Garnacho is frustrating, but he is the only person that is able to do anything reasonable in our attack today.

Amass and Fredricson gave a good account of themselves

Hojlund honestly is irredeemable, we need to cut our loss and offload.

Eriksen should just retire no need.
ETH will have no forgiveness for splashing 55m on Mount. What a useless signing.
Onana is just a useless goal keeper, any decent shot against him is just a goal.

I'm a bit surprised we have been able to compete physically so far.
it's where we have mostly lost out this season.
There Midfield must be rubbish. With Eriksen and Ugarte shitting the bed, I am surprised wolves are not dominating the midfield
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by CapitalCee(m): 2:55pm On Apr 20, 2025
Amass has been composed, he will be a functional EPL player at least, he looked mature.

Fredricson hasn’t put a foot wrong, well Wolves are not really serious.
Wolves Midfield must be Rubbish since they are not even having an upper hand against Eriksen and Ugarte who has been atrocious today. Especially Ugarte.

Hojlund is looking iredeemable

I think you intended to quote me here. If Kovar is also error prone then our scouts need to get to work.
We can’t afford another keeper who spreads confusion in the back line.
Yeah, sure, with our form, the last thing we needed will be to let in error strewn goals. With our current position we no longer need Lazy scouting, that was what Liverpool did when they were down and struck gold eventually with Klopp and few players. We should be able to spring out Players from no where once in a while.

I just read that Tyler Fredricson will get a start at CB today. An out of left field decision for a player whose United hopes I thought had been permanently dashed due to injuries.

It might be Fredricson, Lindelof, Maz at the back.
I read it somewhere too just now, I think Amorim is going for Maturity in Age. I know he won't want to risk Shaw, he played 50+35 minutes on Thursday.

I think I will watch the game today just the see what the youngsters can do...A few experienced heads mixed with youth should make for an interesting game.
For Me Kovar is not at our level, he is Below Avarage I jave watched him at Leverkusen a couple of times, he is error prone

We can get a 29-32 year old GKs that will be fantastic, Inter sold us the Bum Onana, and got Yan Sommer for like 5m and he was 34 that time, Van der Sar was languishing at Fulham 34 before fergie got him, he won us the UCL. No be everytime spending big solves problem. How old is Mat Sels at Forest. GK is a different of position.

The market is not easy. Who are the players you would like us to sign?
He is 26 now. He has only been good at Wolves from last season and Brazilian players loss steam at 29 max. Especially forward players, the example are just too much. He will cost about £65m, he is giving me an expensive flop vibes. And funny how nobody is talking about his attitude, he can mess up a crucial game with stupid red cards or suspension. I might be wrong though, but my instincts about him is not good.

For me what is holding us is a clinical striker, who is a press demon. Then get someone who is about to break out, our scouts need to work hard and smart, Cunha looks like and easy scouting.

I think they are intentionally keeping him away from the senior team until next season. They rarely show Under-21 games but from the little i have seen he has potential. He struggled with the tempo of Under-21 earlier on in the season but seems to have started dominating over the past few weeks.
If that guy click eeh he might be like Caicedo or Baleba

Yes, to that list. The most important thing for them is that they all have natural positions in this Amorim formation and system. Amass, Mantato, Kamason will be interesting though.
How do you see Kone?

I am not asking us to play Obi as our starting CF next season. No matter what happens we need to have a new starting CF next season. I just think it would be nice to give him 1 or 2 starts this end of season. If he proves himself this season, then he might be our No 2 striker next season.

The major issue though is that losing Ramus to injury will actually be a disaster in Europe. Even if it is to come on as a sub or come on as an extra attacker if we are chasing a goal. We can't go into the semi-finals and finals of a European competition having no recognized striker in the squad. Obi is ineligible. Zirkzee is injured.

Also, you can't with on one hand say that we need to give him minutes to boost his confidence, and on the other hand say losing him (in a competition in which he is our only striker) is not a disaster. Do you want to play Maguire as CF for 90-120 mins or is it Kobbie you want to use for 90-120 mins?

Ultimately i will trust the decision of the coaching staff. I didn't think Amass was ready to cope with the physicality of senior football, but he has done okay in that regards SO FAR. If Amass is ready, then i believe Kamason is ready as well.
Ofcourse, i know You are not saying he should be a starter next season. I am just afraid for him, if he didnt kick on immediately and the backlash he might receive considering his age, If he will be here, he should just be having Cameos like Endrick in Madrid.

Amass has adapted to the physicality very well and he very composed. Kamason is even more physical than Amass, So he will be fine, He is almost the same age with Heaven, long term injury just delayed his development. I want to see Morehouse at some point this season too.

I think Obi, Kamason, Kukonki, Amass, Moorehouse and may be Montato as Graduates this season is a good number. Not forgetting Kone too.

You are right about Shaw. It’s probably too soon after playing 60mins. I however think it is crucial we rest Maguire and Yoro to avoid season ending injury. Maguire himself just passed fitness tests a couple of weeks ago. Yoro has played a lot this month and had probably being our best defender in that period.

Unless Amorim wants to risk Kukonki instead of Shaw which is unlikely. Heaven would have been the obvious choice but he got injured again in training. Those players have made things difficult by allowing that match go into extra time.

You also have a point about Rasmus but we have played him over and over again this season and the confidence is still nowhere to be found. At this point I think we should start looking at building our own confidence for the future rather than prioritising a single player’s confidence. We need to find out how ready Obi in particular is to contribute to the team.
For me apart from Confidence, loosing Rasmus to fitness issues wouldn’t be a disaster anyway.
I still think Obi is not yet ready, he is very young, most strikers don’t start performing at young age, he is still very very young, a lot of our impatient and unintelligent fans will kill his confidence before his career even start, I have watched him closely at the youth team, while he is fantastic, the senior team will be a big leap for him. We need to take it easy with him, he needs one more year in the youth team, and another year on loan before we consider him for the senior team.
I have made my research and discovered that a lot of the elite/Top strikers we have today in football, started pulling in numbers at 24/25ish. Kane, Lewandowski, Marmoush, Gyokeres, Isak, Osihmen, Lataro Martinez, I can even add Vardy, Ivan Toney, Thuram, and Olie Watkins. Even the Mateta and Cunha most of our fans are calling the club to buy were not world beaters at 19/20. Infact Wolsburg sold Osihmen for €3.5m in 2019, to Belgium, one year later Lille sold him for €76m to Napoli. The story of Marmoush and Gyokeres are the most remarkable.
Some of these youngsters who are balling now will later tail off, we saw Jovic, Felix and Ferguson, Brighton was quoting 100m for him 1 year ago. That is why i dont want Delap or Etikite and their likes.

I am asking just to be sure Hojlund is not being scapegoated here.
Hojlund actually did well versus Lyon, in our match against Sociedad at home he did very well too. Promote this same Obi now and begin to play him regularly, the same people will say he is trash and should be offloaded, forgetting he is just 17.

He will be back for the Europa Semis. Although the coach might Continue with Maguire, Yoro and Mazraoui combination sha.

If we Qualify for Finals I just hope Amad is back by that time. Honestly we will really miss Zirzkee in that Semifinals that kind of opposition suits him well

-------------------Mount-----------------Maino-----------------
-------------------------------Obi-----------------------------------
For me,
Shaw is just coming back from injury, and played 90mins on Thursday, that might be too much of an ask for him. We need to be careful with him.
I will also want Hojlund to start he didn't play that much, he need to biuld his confidence more.

The bitter truth is that some of you will never learn.

The way to stop Rashford from continuing to be our best forward is to buy other forwards that are much better than him, NOT recalling him to rejoin our incompetent forwards.
As in the thing shock me. Rashford is not that even good, how many goals has he scored or assisted in Villa since he joined them on loan? 2 non penalty goals. I just hope he maintains his small form and then we scam one club 40m and offload his wages too.
We need to find money somehow and get either Gyokeres or Osihmen if we are being Serious as a club

......Yoro is picking up form, and Heaven has shown us that he is an incredible bag of potential. De Ligt's experience and leadership skills are consistently reliable.

Maguire has developed a tough mentality and is becoming dependable. Licha is solid as always, and Mazraoui is blending well with the team. Dorgu is young and has the potential to improve rapidly. I think our defense is not in a bad state, provided everyone stays fit.

However, we need to make some adjustments. Replacing Evans, Shaw, Lindelof and possibly Dalot with Harry Amass and Kukonki on a full-time basis should be a priority.

In midfield, we are far too light and thin. Releasing Eriksen as soon as the transfer window opens should be considered. Casemiro at 33yrs might be better off moving to the Saudi League or MLS. We don’t need to overspend here; Collyer is ready, and Moorhouse deserves a chance before the end of the season for a proper assessment, alongside Kone and Scanlon.

As for the attacking players, Mount, Antony, Sancho, and Højlund need to go. I would be thrilled if we could sign Osimhen. Give Rashford another shot to prove himself again. Garnacho should stay, and Mainoo should be developed into a proper attacking midfielder. Chido should also become an integral part of the first team.

Areas to reinforce IMO:

Striker: Osimhen is the ideal candidate.

Central Midfield: Invest in one world-class midfielder.

Wing-Backs: Bring in two, one right wing-back (RWB) and one left wing-back (LWB).

Goalkeeper: Heaton is leaving at the end of the season and Onana should be sold. A single top-quality goalkeeper is needed.

If we make these changes, I believe we’ll be in a strong position to compete for the top 4 next season.
For Me.

- Rashford needs to go. He is washed forget his hot and cold performances at Villa.
- the Difference between Casemiro and Collyer is like Jupiter and Mecury. Collyer is a good lad but he is no where near Casemiro in quality and mentality.
- Harry Amass and Kukonki are no where near the qualities and abilities of Dalot. They are good prospects now but they are not yet ready.

We need Osihmen like Oxygen, its not just about how clinical he is, Osihmen is a press demon and has the physicality and pace that this system needs, he will suit this system like a glove.
Yoro, will be a world class ball playing defender, €62m total outlay for him at just 19 is a steal. Madrid made a huge mistake not going for him.

Onana should be let go if possible, Next season should be the last chance saloon for mount.
