engrelvis:At 23 Modric was still playing for Dynamo Zagreb, at 21 he was still playing for inter Zapresic, At 20 Palmerias sent Roberto Carlos on loan to Athletico Miniero. Harry Kane at 20/21 was at loan at Norwich and Leicester. Infact at Spurs at 22 Kane scored 4 goals in 19 games. If you want to win the league stop signing kids, go and sign experience players. That's the reason why Bellingham and Haaland agents refused to sell them to Manchester United, because they will used content and impatient kill their career before it even started |
afrodoc2:Honestly that's why I am just praying we don't buy players like Delap Honestly. When Bayern lost Lewandowski, They went straight for 30 year old Kane for 100m. Osihmen/Gyokeres is available now for 60m and we are dilly dallying. Our problem is clearly decision making in the final 3rd 2 quality signings in that area plus Amad will be a lot of difference. |
ChristineC:We need to urgently go for either Gyokeres or Osihmen, we also need Cuhna or another proven AM we could have gone for Kvara but he is in PSG now. All these Delap and Dibling I am hearing, you will bring them now, they will start adapting, then I'diotic fans will be expecting them to win the league. A world class striker and A competent AM will massively improve the team |
afrodoc2:Thank you, ofcourse I am not saying it will definitely happen, when by this time next year, he has not improved then we can begin attacking him. If you watch Yoro yesterday, you will see that he has massively improved from how he was when he started, he is adapting gradually into a new league and system. Even Dorgu himself after the Sociedad game admitted that he recognised that he needs to work on his finishing and Decision making in the final third, given his role in the team, so he is putting in extra work for that. Moreover he is moving from a new league at a young age. Part of his learning curve is not throwing him under the bus, but coaching him well and protecting him away from the spotlight. These are some of the reasons Fergie banned journalists during his time, putting enormous pressure on youngsters. If you criticise even harshly Mazraoui or De ligt that's different given their experience. But a youngster coming into a new league into a big club and he wasn't even as terrible as these agendists are making it look like. While we don't overhype youngsters, it's also very important we don't heap too much psychological burden on them. |
patrickmuf:Who you de call senior man, God forbid bad thing, More like a man child. You bought a 20 year old Left back from Lecce a club doomed for relegation, in a slow league like seria A. And you expect him to play like Mbappe up front, the guy is not a senior man, his football knowledge is like that of a kid. A player that has not even played up to 10 games in a new league, you are already jumping and talking trash.h about him just because he misplaced few shots and passes. Was it not the same guy that literally dismantled Real Sociedad? Didn't we see him against Portugal? Low brains like him would have trashed all the class of 92 because he can't tolerate their acclimatisation. All the defence i get is Lewis Skelly, a player that constantly cost Arsenal games given his experience and age. I have started blocking low brained guys like this that trash talk youngsters on twitter. Madrid bought Guler and Endrick, how many times do you see them start games let alone high profile games. But you got a 20 year old relegation battler and expect him to lead you to title. When Fergie bought Nani and Anderson in 2007, how many games did they play for the next 3 years? Person wey no sabi anything for football you de call am senior man, because he is slandering teenagers. |
Jamiuokolaa:You must be blind, you need to show me where I said he doesnt need improvement. You must be dumb to come here to cry and whine, thinking that a LB from Lecce will URGENTLY make Man United to be Title contenders. If you can’t relax and watch him naturally progress his career, you then need to buy a FM game and simulate it there. |
Jamiuokolaa:Yeah. maybe the coach need to give you a contract to enter the pitch and use your own fine touches and technical abilities to win matches, just because he misplaced few passes and shots in the first half, suddenly you are here whining like a cry baby. Didnt he create chances in the second half? Including our best chances which a more clinical striker would have buried? Like I maintained, he is playing very well, and added a lot of bite to our set up and play, if you cant see that, then I cant help you. No single player doesn’t have a gap expecially when he is still young. If you have started watching football during the early days of Class of 92, you would have been crying like now that all of them should be binned immediately for urgent benefits. Evra was gotten Jan 2006, he struggled for many months and improved eventually on a lot of things to be an absolute world class player he later turned out, leading to a league title in 2007. Even at that he wasnt really instrumental to that league win. If they sell the guy now for example and he started doing well ,you will be the same person coming here to cry that why was he sold? Someone here is mentioning Lewis Skelly to me, na so most people here keep disturbing us with Sancho when he was at Dortmund, we were warning that the guy is a bum, until he came here and flopped. So you can continue your harsh criticism but for me Patrick Dorgu is doing well, when he starts playing nonsense it will be clear |
Jamiuokolaa:No serious team heap their hope on a 20 year old left back. When you sign a proven goalscorer and at least 2 creative midfielders, who can put a game to bed, you will be less concerned about what Dorgu does. If the club want to solve the wing issues immediately they would ve gone for Nuno Mendes, Frimpong or De marco. For now Dorgu is doing up to EXPECTATIONS. You guys should temper your expectations and allow him to flourish. |
Jamiuokolaa:But that one said we should write off Dorgu immediately |
patrickmuf:Thanks for the correction bro. The guy just the yarn rubbish since. A 20 year old player, playing LB for Lecce in a slow Seria A, came in and is bombing up and down the flank the way he does and finding himself in good positions, and has been defensively solid, But because he did not score or assist in a Manchester derby, automatically he is shit. Eventually his shooting and touches will get better, even he himself admitted that and promised to work on it. If our frontline were clinical enough, we will not expect Dorgu to score or assist, moreover wasn’t he the one that set up our best chance in the second half? Fans like this are a huge part of the problem, they pile enormous pressure on young players analysing every touch they made, and criticising blindly and harshly, and it affects them psychologically, they then give up making it at the club, and they are sold to another club where they suddenly start doing well, the same person will start blaming the club for selling that player. |
afrodoc2:I am not saying he is a finished product. My point is he is still young and is coming into a new league, his position was LB at Lecce, is he expected to be scoring and assisting like prime Mbappe? He will improve eventually. It's obvious that he will improve, No where have I priased him excessively or blindly. But when someone just attack every of his moves it reeks of agenda |
Leyqute:Reedeem what? The boy was playing LB for Lecce in Italy, you expect him to score and assist like Salah and Bruno? So what exactly is he redeeming himself for ? From waht i have seen so far, he is doing credibly well, the energy and commitment are there, just like you correctly said.he is still very very young and he will come good with the right training. Ignore that guy with agenda |
Mrviktor:No, you for go carry am for free na no be only 5m. And moreover he was gotten for €25m. Stop lying to push your agenda. If you can not relax and watch the guy settle in, then you cant be helped. You are not even bashing him for not being defensively solid rather you are criticising him for not scoring in a Manchester derby. A left Back? Have you seen how rubbish this your take is? |
Mrviktor:Which Myles Skelly? Abeg pack one side biko, the One that had 3 red cards already and drew a penalty yesterday? Didnt you watch the Soceidad game home and away? Which game has Myles skelly won for Arsenal? He played versus Albania for England and scored and everybody de shout, you no watch Dorgu versus Portugal? Na so una go just de compare nonsense. You think playing for Arsenal and Man United now is the same thing? |
Leyqute:After the Southamtom game people said he is a flop |
Jamiuokolaa:If you go and buy Delap instead of Osimhen or Gyokeres there will be “excuses”. Do you see me making excuses for Dalot? If you trash talk Yoro for example it will be hash, but if its Deligt or Maz then it’s justified because Yoro is not supposed to be relied on as a dependable player |
Lana1:Exactly , nit relying on Hojlund, Zirkzee and Garnacho. That’s why i dont want Delap, Osimhen or Gyokeres for me. Then Trincao or Cunha. Then all these young players will gradually develop |
Leyqute:You are correct, he still has a lot of time to learn, at his age he should not be starting in a tough match like this. Ronaldo at Garnachos age scored just 6 goals or so in Fergies quality team. Not everyone will kick on at a yooung age. |
Jamiuokolaa:Na you the call am excuses, if you buy a 20 year old WB/FB, you know what to expect. I will not be having those excuses for Mazraoui and Deligt. Tell me I single LB in history who was world class at 20. Guy i appeal calm down. This guy is coming from slow italian league at a very young age, he will frustrate you, this is not FIFA |
And for me Garnacho is playing well in this game, I dont know what we want him to do? Or should he be playing like Mbappe? |
And no one is talking about the PK that we should have had or it will not align with certain agendas? |
We can see that this is not Amorim issue, even his Sporting CP front 3 of Gyokeres, Trincao and Pote are miles ahead of ours. |
Mrviktor:Dorgu is 20, Dalot is 26 played in 2Euros and World Cup for a country like Portugal. Go and watch Evra for the first 2 years at Man United. Una no de ever learn. If we had a better front three and we are leading now, you wont be relying on Dorgu to score for you. |
Leyqute:No be here we dey? United fans wey I know. They will use trash talk break the guy down psychologically, then we send him on loan, he will suddenly start doing well. Go and check Rodrygo and Vini Jr record in the last like 20 or so games. But i dont see Madrid fans trash talking them. Just like Amorim said about former players doing well, to be a man united player is a different kettle of fish |
The team is playing well, but decision in the final third is poor. But make we calm down with all these Dorgu slandering, its too early. |
Mrviktor:Arsenal were toothless the last time they played Forest, Every top team have struggled against Forest. |
afrodoc2:The coach messed up the line up |
afrodoc2:Yeah honestly time is running out |
These Villa players seems to be older oo |
afrodoc2:Yeah it seems everyone struggles at that position apart from Amass |
Baldg:For me Thwaites and Tyler Fletcher are the best combination |
afrodoc2:Since Daveney came out we have dominated Obi needs to be taught to play as a team |
