afrodoc2: Attacking him blindly and defending him blindly will both no help him.
He has some good qualities but really needs to improve on his touch above everything else. An improved touch will automatically improve his driving with the ball and his passing. I am not saying he is a finished product. My point is he is still young and is coming into a new league, his position was LB at Lecce, is he expected to be scoring and assisting like prime Mbappe? He will improve eventually. It's obvious that he will improve, No where have I priased him excessively or blindly. But when someone just attack every of his moves it reeks of agenda |

Leyqute: Get your facts right. I’m not commending Dorgu for his poor final balls. I’m stating that he’s got the lungs and ability to be in the right positions at the right time. This may look easy but Dalot and Mazdaoui have struggled seriously with that position, especially the physical aspect .
While you neglect that and toss the word “disasterclass” along with his name every time he crosses your screen, I see a kid who needs some final polishing.
The ball is still in his court. Only him can redeem himself. Reedeem what? The boy was playing LB for Lecce in Italy, you expect him to score and assist like Salah and Bruno? So what exactly is he redeeming himself for ? From waht i have seen so far, he is doing credibly well, the energy and commitment are there, just like you correctly said.he is still very very young and he will come good with the right training. Ignore that guy with agenda |

If you can not relax and watch the guy settle in, then you cant be helped. Jamiuokolaa: While I agree with you that the boy needs some time (heck, we saw all these things before buying him), it would become "excuses" if we clamour for signings to solve immediate problems, only for us to have to be "explaining" shortcomings of these same players.
May we not have to "explain"...Amen If you go and buy Delap instead of Osimhen or Gyokeres there will be “excuses”. Do you see me making excuses for Dalot? If you trash talk Yoro for example it will be hash, but if its Deligt or Maz then it’s justified because Yoro is not supposed to be relied on as a dependable player |

Leyqute: He’s better than most matches but he’s not there yet. Could’ve shot with that first chance instead of causing a freekick. Like the majority of our forwards, he lacks intensity and a good finishing. You are correct, he still has a lot of time to learn, at his age he should not be starting in a tough match like this. Ronaldo at Garnachos age scored just 6 goals or so in Fergies quality team. Not everyone will kick on at a yooung age. |

I don’t think anyone in the squad can play WB the way Dorgu is playing it sef. The guy is an athlete. Still rough around the edges and needs some polishing with his attacking moves tho. No be here we dey? United fans wey I know. They will use trash talk break the guy down psychologically, then we send him on loan, he will suddenly start doing well. I already suspected they would not get it done.
The coach should have kept Mantato up front at RWF and left Kukonki at LB.
Mantato was shaky when moved to LB and Lusale was poor at RWF. Mantato at RWF running at a tiring defence was potentially our best weapon. The coach messed up the line up |

afrodoc2: Jack Fletcher has not been that good. He was sloppy with a few passes and then got a careless yellow card when caught on the ball. Tyler has been better. Kamason has struggled to beat his man and he allowed a few runs past him. Scanlon has been good. In this game Kukonki has coped better on his flank than Kamason IMO.
Devaney spoiled his good play with some silly critical mistakes so i will say Tyler Fletcher has been the best player in this first half. Maybe you are mixing the Fletcher twins up, but Tyler has been better than Jack in this game.
We can remove Devaney who is already on a yellow and bring on Thwaites, remove Biancheri and move Scanlon to the left so that Mantato can play on the right. Against Arsenal Thwaites and Montato were the one that won the game for us. Yeah may be I am missing the Fletcher twins, one of them has been outstanding. Kukonki is not even getting into positions to cross, he is also sloppy in possession. Well that's not his position. |

I don't think that Kukonki is that good, well he is still young but at the under 18 level he looks very average. Maybe because hevis playing at left back. We really missed Amass on that position. Jack Fletcher, Kamason and James Scanlon has been the best player for us. We need Montato and zTwaites in the second half to change the game |

afrodoc2: Remember Kukonki only turned 17 last month so he is actually just a 1st year scholar playing in central defence and he is easily outmuscling practically everybody he comes against.
He will still be eligible for Under-18 next season and will likely be our most senior CB there after Munro and Armer would have moved to the Under-21s full time.
Kukonki’s size makes people forget how young he is actually. When Amorim called him to the first squad he was still 16.
Ngwashi seems even more highly rated than Kukonki but I have only seen very little him. Kukonki’s recent hype is partly because he has had a remarkable growth spurt in the past 12 months. Good. Ngwashi is the one that the club is accused of age cheat I think? Is it? I think they are twins. The one I heard JJ Gabriel's father snitched on. We are really bringing through black physical defenders and I like it. |

afrodoc2: It is not a quality thing.
1) Kamason is a RB. Kukonki is a LCB. So they are not in competition for the same position at all.
2) When Amorim came in Lisandro was the only fit LCB in the squad so there was an opportunity for Kukonki to be useful, if not on match day at least in training to complete the teams
3) Kukonki as a LCB that has played LB is stylistically more suited to the Amorim system than Kamason who is a right footed RB. Mantato suits Amorim’s Lisbon system as a RWB more than Kamason. Kukonki, Mantato, Lacey, Kone, Ibragimov and a few others are ones that are natural stylistic fits for the system
4) Kukonki despite being younger is physically more prepared at this stage to play against men.
5) Kamason was hit and miss until the 2nd half of this season. He showed glimpses but consistency and dominance only started recently.
The summary is that while not being greatly rated in the academy, the combination of his size, strength, and him being left footed and a better stylistic fits gives Kukonki a head start in the competition for senior places. Yeah, I see. We have a lot of options in the RCB in the senior team. Honestly while he is normally good, Kukonki seems not to standout even in the 18s. But like you said, his physicality is the advantage. Amorim seems to like physical monsters in defence, like Debast and Diomande at sporting. I also think Heaven at 18, is a fantastic signing and siuts Amorim system like a glove, how Arsenal let him go easily is a mystery to me. For Montato, he will flourish in the RWB position, and he is a left footer, thats what Amorim is looking for. Dorgu cant just do that as seen in his first match for us, but Montato is killing that position in the youth team. |

I’m not familiar with the youth team, any insights about him. We will appreciate sirs He is 17 year old left footed, Right winger in our academy recently scored the extra time winner in our FA youth cup match against Arsenal. Very strong, relentless, pace and full of energy. His style of play is more like that of Arsenal’s Saka. He is one of the best players currently in our academy, very highly rated. Although i was thinking that it was too early to promote him, but maybe Amorim wants to start integrating into the first team from now. |

Brazil was the only decent team that Netherlands defeated in that world cup. Although they were effiecient and clinical but not eye catching. Germany and Spain were the best team in that tournament. |
