Wow thats great, I am not really following the U21 like the U-18s. Honestly he is not ready for the first team yet for EPL games, he is too young. The talent is there, he should be gradually eased in, a loan in a lower league won't be bad.
It seems many of the core of the U18s are now in the U21. Monroe, Montato, Fletchers, Scanlon and Biancherri. Amass seem to have been permanently promoted to the first team.

If Mainoo is asking for anything above 80k, the club should consider selling him.
The reason why the fans are frustrated is because these players that are supposed to be bench options till may be 2 to 3 years time when they have benefited from training and coaching are thrusted straight into te deep end. Mainoo and Garnacho during Fergie days are FA cup and Carling Cup players or dead rubber champions league players. Ronaldo, Fletcher, Richardson, even Saha and JS Park for like their first few years. In Arsenal then Van Persie, Diaby, Sceszceny, Clichy, Walcott etc.
So, my point is we need to tamper our expectations

I have said it before, and I will continue saying it. Man United currently have the most unintelligent fan base in football. Also Man United is the worst club for any promising player to start their career. No sensible agent should sell any big prospect to Man United, if the team want good players it's either they get them from the academy or buy them at normally huge price.
The amount of dumb takes most United fans have about players is mind boggling. Elanga was here, the same fans were abusing him and begging the club to sell him, now he is decent at Forest, the same dumb fans are now questioning the club for selling him. They collude with journalists and other fans to pile pressure on players and keep abusing them until they give up and begin suffering psychologically.
Every club buys Under 21, players and gradually ease them into the team proper when they get like 23/24. But in the case of United, no way. Within few days of getting promoted or signed Fans already will develop agendas and pray for the players failure so they can say "I told you so".
I am saying it again, any agent that has a young player starting their careers should not near Man United, the career will be gone within few days by dumb low brained fans and CONTENT creating Journalists

At 23 Modric was still playing for Dynamo Zagreb, at 21 he was still playing for inter Zapresic, At 20 Palmerias sent Roberto Carlos on loan to Athletico Miniero. Harry Kane at 20/21 was at loan at Norwich and Leicester. Infact at Spurs at 22 Kane scored 4 goals in 19 games. If you want to win the league stop signing kids, go and sign experience players. That's the reason why Bellingham and Haaland agents refused to sell them to Manchester United, because they will used content and impatient kill their career before it even started

Honestly that's why I am just praying we don't buy players like Delap Honestly. When Bayern lost Lewandowski, They went straight for 30 year old Kane for 100m. Osihmen/Gyokeres is available now for 60m and we are dilly dallying.
Our problem is clearly decision making in the final 3rd 2 quality signings in that area plus Amad will be a lot of difference.

I get your point about the unwarranted attacks but it is not a given that he will improve. Some players are who they are and will never improve significantly.

For him to improve on his technical deficiencies he has to start working hard at it now. He is still young, so it is possible but let's not just assume that it will definitely happen.

Thank you, ofcourse I am not saying it will definitely happen, when by this time next year, he has not improved then we can begin attacking him. If you watch Yoro yesterday, you will see that he has massively improved from how he was when he started, he is adapting gradually into a new league and system. Even Dorgu himself after the Sociedad game admitted that he recognised that he needs to work on his finishing and Decision making in the final third, given his role in the team, so he is putting in extra work for that. Moreover he is moving from a new league at a young age.
Part of his learning curve is not throwing him under the bus, but coaching him well and protecting him away from the spotlight. These are some of the reasons Fergie banned journalists during his time, putting enormous pressure on youngsters. If you criticise even harshly Mazraoui or De ligt that's different given their experience. But a youngster coming into a new league into a big club and he wasn't even as terrible as these agendists are making it look like.
While we don't overhype youngsters, it's also very important we don't heap too much psychological burden on them.

If you have started watching football during the early days of Class of 92, you would have been crying like now that all of them should be binned immediately for urgent benefits. Evra was gotten Jan 2006, he struggled for many months and improved eventually on a lot of things to be an absolute world class player he later turned out, leading to a league title in 2007. Even at that he wasnt really instrumental to that league win.

If the club want to solve the wing issues immediately they would ve gone for Nuno Mendes, Frimpong or De marco. For now Dorgu is doing up to EXPECTATIONS. You guys should temper your expectations and allow him to flourish.

The guy just the yarn rubbish since. A 20 year old player, playing LB for Lecce in a slow Seria A, came in and is bombing up and down the flank the way he does and finding himself in good positions, and has been defensively solid, But because he did not score or assist in a Manchester derby, automatically he is shit. Eventually his shooting and touches will get better, even he himself admitted that and promised to work on it. If our frontline were clinical enough, we will not expect Dorgu to score or assist, moreover wasn’t he the one that set up our best chance in the second half?

Fans like this are a huge part of the problem, they pile enormous pressure on young players analysing every touch they made, and criticising blindly and harshly, and it affects them psychologically, they then give up making it at the club, and they are sold to another club where they suddenly start doing well, the same person will start blaming the club for selling that player.

Get your facts right. I’m not commending Dorgu for his poor final balls. I’m stating that he’s got the lungs and ability to be in the right positions at the right time. This may look easy but Dalot and Mazdaoui have struggled seriously with that position, especially the physical aspect .
