Those cups have been papering over incredibly wide cracks. The only title that concerns me is Europa League and that is because it guarantees UCL, which in turn helps us in our negotiations to get top quality players.

Yeah, UCL through Europa too also helps with some money to help our PSR too for transfer. But if we are still in the FA CUP up to semis for example and we have teams like say Villa, Newcastle, and May be teams like Milwall sneaked in too ala Coventry last season. Then we may fancy our chances.

Please do we have anyone currently in our academy that is anywhere near these Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri qualities? The movement of those boys are mad.

These our current overpaid senior bunches need to be offloaded. We need to promote the best of our youth players anyone who is not good enough should be sold.

We promoted Kambwala last season, he played few games we sold him for €10m, now he is starting for Villareal. For me, i think, if we keep our youth players indefinitely in the academy they will decline.

Morehouse, Amass, Thwaites,Chido-Obi, Ibragimov, Kukonki, Montato, promote all of them. If any of them are not good enough sell for pure profit. Even the new Malian youngster.
The 3 goal scorers for Spurs in their last Europa game are all academy players, Mickey moore, Ajayi and Scarlet. Infact Mickey Moore started today, against Brentford. and he is 17. But our own we go de hype 19 year old for academy yet they won't be promoted in areas we needed bodies. Sporting Lisbon for example lost form after Amorim left and couple of injuries, they promoted a number of 17/18 year olds, those boys are balling now and they are winning again, 8 points clear of 2nd. Unless they perform consistently for some time, Man Utd could use occassional help from our youth team for the striker position and not over rely on them.

We should be promoting some of our good youth team players. Kobbie Mainoo just came out last season and dominated Man City and Liverpool, All these he is too young na rubbish. Some time our youth players spend too much time in the academy and suddenly they will start declining.

Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri are ballers. Saves a lot for Arsenal in transfer fees.

I'm not surprised by the way the team is playing and the results. I don't expect anything more. We needed at least 2 new players, even before Rashford and Antony left. With them leaving, we should have gotten at least 3 players, but we got just one and they left it very late. The club is not serious about changing things. Just look at what City is doing in the transfer windows. They don't waste time at all and always ready to fix areas of the team that needs fixing

The greatest limitations to our game is that our wingbacks are blunt. Then we dont have a proper striker. And we concede far too many goals from Goal keeping errors

We need 2 wing backs, strong, energetic and physical ones, who are good on the ball too.
We need an elite striker, Gyokeres, for example.
We need a CM that plays intelligently like Eriksen
Then most importantly we need a decent GK that can command the box.
