I'd prefer we finish as close as possible to top 4, than to compromise a decent finish in the league for some competition in which, by any stretch of imagination, we cant be considered as favorites to win

I think it's easier to even topple the likes of Brighton and co in the league than to think of eliminating teams like Lazio, Ajax and Sevilla

First Sevilla is not in the Europa League. And Ajax and I dare say Lazio are not better than Brighton.
What are we going to do with finishing closer to top 4, When we are not winning the league or finish in the top 4? And who said we re not one of the Favourites for the Europa League? And who said we can’t be competitive in both competitions?
We can finish close to top 4 and still Win Europa league. But between the 2, winning the Europa league is preferable because it will give you UCL football, then Amorim will use the off season to offload those he doesn’t want and make proper signings.

If I am Amorim i will do Mourinho style on Europa league this season. Then hope for the best in the league. Maresca joined the club before the season started, has had time to understand the players and train with them, including try out different things that didn't work. Remember he was abused during preseason by many Chelsea fans because the team was struggling and playing rubbish at times. He was able to offload those he didn't need and work with those he felt he can't work with because it was preseason

Makes sense. Although the jury is still out on these players given it’s a new manager and new system. I thought we were going to buy for the long term and fit for a particular strategy such that the players are not deemed bums anytime a new manager comes on board.

Mazraoui, De ligt and Ugarte are good Signings, Only Orobosa is proving to be a mistake. If we sustain this rate of signings for 4 transfer windows, together with promoting and integrating properly we will be good

You forgot to add Bruno to your list.

They can't all go at the same time but some need to leave ASAP while ones that can't be sold ASAP need to have their influence on and off the pitch reduced.

Why I didnt call Bruno and Mount is because we can get rid of all at once, at least Bruno is more competent than these other ones. We can actually sell all those players i mentioned in one window, plus Lindelof whom i forgot to add. Leave only Yoro, Deligt and Licha, Promote at least 2 from Academy, and buy on CB. Get a good striker and a good LWB, promote Amass i watched him the other day, he was levels above most of those his age mates. Garnacho and Mainoo needs to be bit part players for now, so we need a matured CDM.
The academy players wont be relied upon, but bring them and trust them, integrate them gradually, at least they will have hunger.
Then after next season we should be looking at a world class RAM to replace Bruno, I like Witz from Leverkusen but i de fear Burndisleaguedown players

He is new but he is missing some players, who would have been better. Pep has lost 5 matches in a row because Rodri and KDB were missing.
Although thats not the case for Amorim sha, his is introducing a new system and like he said the players are confused at times with the positions they are meant to be . And Ipswich town is not as bum as some people make them look, I watch their games they are actually a tough team to play.

Lets not forget that we are missing certain important players like Mainoo, Ugarte didnt start, Martinez and Leny Yoro. These guys in the starting line up would have made the difference
