Unless you are Aguero level talent, small size will hinder a CF hoping to play for a top club in the era of single striker. In a 4-4-2 system , not so much. His Wikipedia page is saying Biancheri is 5'9 but he looks more like 5'7. It does not mean he can't make it at a top club, but it is a huge obstacle for him. Remember, he is not competing against Wheatley alone but Obi, Rasmus, Zirkzee, and whichever 6 foot plus equally talented striker the club buys in the next 2 years.

Chido Obi .

I saw it, nice finishing. He seem to be a good and calm finisher. With his strength he can be trained more for hold up play and link up play.

Yeah, Obi will remain a puzzle until he faces more physically challenging opposition. If you watched him last season it was like SS3 playing against JS1. Over a spell of about 1 month, he outscored most teams by himself. One thing i will say though is that he is a better finisher than Wheatley. Both Biancheri and Obi are better finishers than Wheatley.

Biancheri is a very good finisher with exceptional box movement but because of his small size it won't be easy for him to break through as a CF. Funny thing is that his hold up play is quite good for his size.

Mantato is going to be a really good athlete. Similar to Saka stylistically but we will see how far he can go. He can fit in as a RWF in a 4-3-3 but in this Amorin system he is best suited to be either RWB or LWB.

Ibragimov and Thwaites are excellent technicians in midfield. Like you, i have been impressed by Thwaites technical ability. He made his debut last season and scored a fantastic last-minute winner, and he has kicked on this season. Infact, it seems he only deals in spectacular goals. Reminds a bit of Hansen-Aaroen but more tenacious.

Kukonki is 16 and in the senior squad i think maybe only Maguire and de Ligt would be bigger than him. He is reported to be 6'5 but i think he is more like 6'3. Strong, fast, can pass the ball. There is real potential for him to be LCB in 2-3 years. Still very raw though, and i think Munro and Armer are better for now.

For me I think the size of Biancheiri will not hinder him, i might be wrong but I think he will do better than Wheatly. And Bianchieri hasn’t finished growing he is still very young.
And I noticed that Shea Lacey hasn’t kicked off since his return from injury, i had big hope for that boy.


Thats why I like Amorin recruitment, he will do like he did in sporting, bringing in talented youngsters from the academy, look at what Barca is doing. Yamal, pedri, Gavi, Cubarsi, Pau Victor, Fermin, Bernal, Casado. I like these kinds of transition.

I think Amorin will be better than ETH in terms of blooding youngsters. I think Amass and that young defender that joined the first team training, i have forgotten his name will break through with Amorin

Chicharito was a far better signing than Berbatov.

Berbatov was signed for £30m, a record signing at that time. in 2008 he struggled all through his united career and spent just 4 seasons and shift to Fulham. Infact chicharito came in and after few weeks immediately started benching him, especially in key games.

Chicharito came in 2010. Although he had some injuries. He was very fantastic scoring so many goals in key games. Infact the season he came as a youngster from Mexican club Guadalajara for just 4m Euros, he Benched Berbatov who came to us as a Superstar from Spurs.

Yes, EPL golden boot winner was dropped from the entire squad for a champions league final.
