Exactly. Tinubu and co stopped Ambode because he planned planned to reduce activities of nurtw in most o part of lagos. Any governor that can modernise transport system in lagos will solve 90% of problems associated with security agents,area boys, agbero boys and thuggery.

Olabode Akanbi Thomas was born to the family of Andrew Thomas, a wealthy trader and auctioneer who was originally from Oyo but migrated to Lagos. He attended C.M.S. Grammar School, a missionary school founded by Thomas Babington Macaulay and James Pinson Labulo Davies. After completing his studies, he served as a junior clerk at the Nigerian Railway Corporation but towards the end of the year, he resigned his appointment and went to London to study law. He was called to the bar in 1942 and returned to Nigeria to establish what became a successful practice in Lagos.

According to many accounts, Bode was an excellent lawyer who was however arrogant. Due to his education Thomas was made the chairman of the Oyo Divisional Council at a time when the Oba Adeyemi (the father of the current Alaafin) was still a member.
At its Inaugural meeting of the council, Thomas arrived and all the other councilors, except Oba Adeyemi, stood up to welcome him. He rudely told the king “WHY WERE YOU SITTING WHEN I WALKED IN? WHY CANT YOU SHOW ME RESPECT?” At that time Bode was 34 years old while the Alaafin was in his 60s. The Alaafin felt very insulted. he told Bode “SHEY EMI ON GBO MO BAUN? EMI NI ONGBO BI AJA MO BAUN{ IS IT ME YOU ARE BARKING AT LIKE THAT? IS IT ME YOU ARE BARKING LIKE A DOG AT LIKE THAT? KEEP BARKING.”
That was on 22nd November 1953. It was reported that Bode Thomas got home and started barking. He barked and barked and barked all night. Then he died. He died on 23 November 1953.

you have spoken the truth. but listen to hypocrite by falz you will realize that most Nigerians are hypocrites. moral relativism is problem of this country. lecturers pirating academic papers will expel students for malpractice. parents who are dishonesty in places of work who scold or beat their children for lying. Most Nigerians see bribery,nepotism etc as norms. Most believe you have to 'settle' to get things done. Do you expect traffic agents who extort motorists not to bribe immigration officers? Most people who complain about corruption had or still being involved in some of corrupt practices-examination malpractice, financial fraud, illegal abortion, drug abuse etc. yes, most are motherfuckinghypocrites.

Lagos is most horrible place to live in nigeria. Lives can be terminated by Sars , police,soldiers,armed robbers, thugs, area boys,nurtw boys etc. And some will claim a party is performing wonders in Lagos. Judging by their performance, both former and present governors of lagos state would be more useless than yeye bello if they had governed other states.

It is a difficult situation for executive. Even without Saraki in Senate, fg cannot get 2/3 of senators to support retirement, sack or appointment of cjn. The only option for president to keep appointing acting cjn every 3 month till Dec 2020 when onnogen will retire.

The governor of Oyo state Sen abiola ajimobi (constituted authority) has decided to delay workers salaries till May 29 2019 this is because of the suspected loyalty of workers to incoming pdp administration.

if you have travelled length and breath of nigeria, beside lagos,south west is ridden with poverty. 70% of lagos is slum. Try to visit badagry, okokomako,ayobo,ipaja, there is no real development in those areas. of course, ogba-ikeja axis, magodo,yaba down to island are good looking. i have been in most parts of nigeria except north east, i can all parts are the same regarding development. we,yorubas should travel and learn,other regions are already catched up. I can say tinubu is wasting lagos money for his ambition. if lagos igr is used well, south west can see real development through regional economic integration.

i regret voting apc, pdp structure is better and favoured the less populated. i trully regret the yoruba and hausa fraudulent way of rulling.

apc is formed by tribal leaders. for apc nw and sw will rotatating president and vp. the regions have largest voting population. pdp is true a national party. in 2007, pdp wanted minority to taste power, hence GEJ was favoured. in 2019, pdp candidates are from regions with lesser voting population.

Even if the north will not hand over to South west, they will still vote Apc and not Pdp so quit your wailing...... In the scheme of things Yoruba people have benefited so much that not having presidency in 2023 will not make anyone lose sleep, after all we've had president for 8years and VP for 8 years out of 24years of democracy and many super ministers...... With apc winning a senate seat,2 reps seat and 4 assembly seats,we can therefore conclude that apc is rooted in bayelsa.an analysis of the 8 lgas shows that apc controls brass,nembe,southern ijaw,has some foothold in ogbia,yenagoa and kolokuma.pdp is in control of sagbama and ekeremor but lokpobiri is still a force in ekeremor.
During the 2016 bayelsa polls,Dickson narrowly lost by 48,000 votes despite winning just one local government and contesting against an incumbent.in 2011,he lost by over 400,000 votes.with the above reasons plus no strong potential contestant in bayelsa pdp,i see timipre sylva as the next governor

Honestly,pdp tried in thi election. If election is credible,apcc would have lost more states.

From my research ikpeazu is a specialist in electoral laws while olanipekun is an expert constitutional lawyer. adenipekun is one of expert lawyer in olanipekun chamber. I do not think olanipekun can do much in this case. osun election is broad day robbery. oyetola is just trying to extend his stay in office to eat more national cake
