Growing up, most of the technical colleges used to be filled up. On my way home after school, you find the technical students in their hundreds leaving school, while some are going for their afternoon lectures.

As at the time i left Nigeria years ago, story has changed. Technical colleges are not what it used to be.

Government policy lead to that. Requirements to start university in Nigeria is nothing to write about. If government is establishing more secondary and technical schools with good standards, we would not be having mushroom universities everywhere.

Back in the days, the lecture halls are always jam-packed. You can hardly breathe well. Certainly Nigeria needs more Universities that must be well funded.

So many kids are home waiting for admission.

He is not responsible for unemployment in Nigeria, and that shouldn't stop him from doing his job.

Its like telling the Road Safety Officers to leave the road because Nigeria has bad roads. That is not their problem, their job is to ensure safety on the road. The minister is right on this one.

He should focus more on quality secondary and technical educstion.

Hi all, it isn't news women celebrate relationships and marriage more, tends to flaunt it, and for them it is obviously a very huge milestone for them; they see it as a very big achievement.
The reverse is the case for the male folks as most are mostly indifferent and many will prefer to hide it; my question is, why do female value and put so much emphasis on relationship/marriage?

Is it because they have more to gain? Or looking for people to fleece?
