Oil is no longer as profitable for Nigeria because there are many new far more stable producers like Ghana and Angola who is set to overtake ou as the biggest producer in Africa in 5 years time even US are importing less from nigeria and will become self reliant by 2017.

The fact remains SA's military spending is $2bn higher then Nigeria's with a smaller armed force.
