believe me i will support any means to bring a long lasting peace and to stop this boko haram menance! Be it clampdown or dialouge! The guy should be granted visa and bugged,if he does something tangible, then the govt should give him full support, but if he is suspected to fund boko boys, he should be hanged with legs up or face a JTF FIRING SQUAD.

i have no intention of exchanging political jargons and brohaha with you because am not even a supporter of the Obj school of taught even though he was great, bt please mind your level of generalizing when saying so called military experts! If i may ask with no harm intended, be sincere what do you know about the Nigerian Armed Forces?

pleep: blatant lie.

Last time i visited, Ikot Epene & calabar ( i live in the us) 2 yrs ago. The power was working a full 20% of the time

So Nigeria gives power to its useless military armory but will not give power to its ordinary citizens? yeye country grin
i would probably have said; See how stupid you are? Bt for the reason of maturity i would overlook that! 2 years ago? Thats the same as saying 63,072,000 million seconds ago! And you expect the place to be the samehuh Well, considering the fact that you are a coward to go and stay in a country your parents did not build, i deem it necessary not to argue with you about Nigeria's military might!

We are ready to fight again. Our father done it before
are you retarded or what? As much as i so much hate Hausa and muslims but Is it only Ndigbo the have been killing? What of yoruba? What of ibibio? What of others! If the Ndibgo want war the should match down north and start! Because if you ask any ibibio man to join biafra now, you must be high on dopamine and paracetamol syrup! The ibgo declaring a war is just like another threat of seccesion and it is not the hausa that will fight them but the whole nation because the will be treated as enemies of the state !!! Ojukwu honourably tried but failed woefully even when he had support from other leagues of ethnic group, now ohazirike wants to try, it will just increase the number of massacred ibgo brothers! Though i know the person USA will support them just to get their aims actualized, bt the can never win a war against its mother NATION if that Nation is Nigeria!! It will have greatest impact on the Ndigbo's! There are other better ways to deal with those blood sucking abokilicious vampires, bt civil war is definitely not an option. He may be arrested for threatening to instigate war!. . .

This is an Akwa ibom guy point of view!

pleep: We waste 1 billion dollars each year importing rediculous military hardware that we will never use. What do we need mobile artillery and apache gunships for? boko-haram?

If the Nigerian military didn't have underdeveloped chicken brains they would realize that you need infrastructure to win a war. South Africa has it we don't. That $1 billion should be invested into building indegenous military engines, support systems and factories so if real conflict broke out we could actually service all these weapons in combat.

All this spending you guys are posting stupidity... Nigeria is a country that doesn't even have 24/7 hour electricity, how do you expect to service a FBC-1A Flying Leopard II! with a fuckin generator?
Its true! You are on drugs . . . . . Just becos your village does not have steady electricity doesnt mean others dont! I stay at Ik in akwa ibom, where there have never been power outage for fire years now, the area uses it own power generation methodologies, which i presume you may nt knw! Have you ever head about power outage in any Nigerian military armoury? If so, please tell when, an i have got a €200 for you!!

you may be joking, bt believe me there is sense in what you are saying! Even Gej did wrong, bt hw those it warrant such childish behaviour? Even when buying jets 4rm them, if there is a small misunderstanding the will start sabre rattling about cutting of aid and suspending planned visits! The us and uk is get very politically childish in foreign policies! TO HELL WITH THEM AND THEIR AID, TO HELL WITH BILL GATES, TO HELL WITH OBAMA, TO HELL WITH THE US! I think the right choice of freinds for us is china, india, north korea, russia, brazil, indonesia and the likes . . my own is . .build refinery and ban importation of refined crude oil, empower local weapon manufacturers and ban importation of guns, empower innoson and otherz and ban importation of cars, make technology transfer deals and ban importation of some electronics! Then wait and see how industralized our fatherland will become! Ok, for e.g the ban on spageti and noodules is giving Mr.ALIKO DANGOTE an upper hand, meaning he will have less competitors in the market for feeding 170 million people with noodules!

chucky234: What a goon, can't imagine how dumb you are.
Things like this affect international relations and the USA being one of the major stakeholders of the Nigeria economy have the right to voice their grievances when our dear retardeen take silly decisions like this one as they expected much from GEJ's govt in the fight against corruption, why pardon a man that is supposed to have been extradited to the UK for trials.
The last time I checked Nigeria is not the only country threaten by foreign bodies or countries,80% of Nigerian crude is exported to the US and $600m in aid is certainly not a small amount buddy.
BTW what have you done to better this country....huh
Pardon is not a crime but becomes one when it involves a man that escaped from UK dressed as a woman,FG should have extradited him to the UK to face his trials just as Ibori was extradited.
i beg to disagree, its just $223 million which apparently we dont need! Just because the give us this stipens doesnt give them the right to dictate how we run our goverment! Would Gej have said anything if obama gave a terrorist a state pardon . . .? No. SO, as much as i disagree with Gej idea of exercising power of pardon, the US Can as well Go to hell with their aid! How has it benefited poor nigerians? This is nt even up to the amount our politicians loot to their banks for safe keeping which the gladly do!
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Capnd143(m): 12:00am On Mar 18, 2013
agaugust: south Africa is wasting its time and money to modify and upgrade a half d.ead Rooivalk helicopter gunship project. You cannot compete in international market against Russia and America. South Africans always over- rate themselves, that's why they always get disappointments and final defeat.

Try learn to walk before you run. Nigeria is very careful about jumping too fast in weapons marketing, try learn from us and build cheaper and easy to maintain weapons that can compete with China because the Chinese are selling billions of dollars weapons right under your long nose here in African market.

not even one single Rooivalk helicopter has been sold for many years and NOBODY will buy this bad market product you are boasting about. Rooivalk is more likely to become d.ead than alive.

Go market it in your south African village. Your Rooivalk is a big international failure and all the noise you make here cannot sell it. Put half of it in storage like your money wasting Grippen jets.
I beg to disagree with a few point of yours. The rooivalk is a good helicopter, though nt to international taste! The SA guys overate the weapons, thats an established fact, the tried marketing their goods in the international arena when the didnt try getting the african market first [ especialy nigera and ethiopia as at then] bt the chose to play white guys, and the got isolated.

dady12: For those of you who are in support of america to withdraw their aid given to nigeria ,i said ,you took a wrong bold step on how to move nigeria forward ,some of you will say the ecomonics of nigeria is inproving, these are the thgs that build a strong economics ,aid is not only cheaper drugs from u s pharmancy. I think the best advice to give mr president is to reverse the pardon because nigeria is going to experience difficulties in terms of relation with america and even in the british.investors will be scare because jonathan failed to think about what the pardon will cause in regard to international relation.nigeria receive aid not only from america ,other country might take their own decision against nigeria.jonathan ve lost focus ,it would ve be better if he did this in 2016 after election .nigerians should show him the way out because earlier the better
what british and american investors have you seen coming in since . . . Please those guys are the people who are allowed to bring explosives into the country because the work for constructions companies, those explosives come in the name of being used to blow up rocks bt are given to boko boys! NIGERIAN CRIMINAL LAW/JUSTICE SYSTEM IS LONG OVERDUE FOR OVERHAUL! More rights should be encapsulated into those stuffs. Like suspects should have the right to walk away 30 minutes after being arrested, if the case officer isnt available, suspect should have the right to walk away after being arrested by 7 days without pressing charges! Things like that would stare tins up! This is 21st century and we need modern criminal codes!

good day bro! You havnt answered my question! You guys said you toke a stroll to a military museum and asked about a possibility of a country to acquire arms secretly and the person said it aint possible . . . Well its with deep regrets that i tell you my freind that who ever said that is a Gargantous Liar!!! Unless you have an explanation for all the spartan APC's i have seen in army barracks but never in an inventory
source 1: http://beegeagle./2013/03/14/world-exclusive-an-array-of-three-alvis-scorpion-tanks-and-six-alvis-spartan-apcs-photo-credit-nigerian-army/#comments

and you should also have an explanation to thousands of 4wDs in security service that i havnt seen in inventories . . . Every quarter of the year the FG donates hundreds of 4WD to the police, mopol and army, the state govt also does same to booast morale, it is also a general thing in Nigeria, whenever NGO are donating to the police, navy, army etc the give Hundreds of military 4WDs, recently rice importers donated 150 military 4WD's, consumers association did same every month, year
----
you should also explain to me why all the gunboats constantly donated by state governors to navy operatives are never in the inventory, also why helicopters bought by state government are not there too . . . .

|look bro . . I am not being told this stuff, bt i live in Nigeria and i see this happen first hand! Even in remote under-developed areas, you still see up to 50 4WD's to some extent that its one seargent(with 2 men) one car some time leading to abuses . .

Now tell me how can there be only six pilots as that foolish DA leader reported when he failed to look at the numbers at last years operation Lion Exercise in Sweden where there were over 8 Gripen pilots which included 40 support staff.

Can you @Henry also tell me how can there be 6 pilots when there are over 2600 reserve SAAF pilots.

Msauza: My dear fellow friends, today I drove down to DITSONG ( SA national museum of war history) in Johannesburg to enquire about the possibility of any country procuring arms secretly. I met one curator, who is a veteran colonel and pose this question to him and his response was unbelievable. He rubbished all this claims and said that all Arms manufacturing companies are by law and now the recent UN arms trade treaty prohibited in engaging in concealed deals. Every transactions require to be recorded for statistics purposes. This trend is crucial so to discourage trade of arms falling in the hands of organised crime or rebels or selling of weapons to countries classified as the red area by the UN. So there is nothing called secret arms deal, every trade has to be recorded, so that in future it should be known which and which country or corporation utilises a particular weapon. For example thales (foreign Arms manufacturers) which are on the database of SANDF has to record all their arms trade with SA and where possible reflect it on their media.

So Aguagust claims that Nigeria bought this and that secretly in relation to this above statement hold no water.
i strongly and whole heartedly belive you for the sake of peace.
---
but please i would also like you to ask him why all the weapons nigerian armed forces have been parading on state tv,during drills and armed forces day have seldom reflected in military inventory? I have seen the budget, i have seen the payment, i have seen the weapons, bt why is it not in the INVENTORY ? Thank you, i am expecting answers
