Economicaly speaking the Marginal utility in the long run is going to triple our Gdp in few years! Meaning more benjamins for the heavy trucks, Icbm's, Corvettes, frigates , su-47, su-35, rafales, eurofighters and most important our local weapon market . . . . Nigeria's population is basically almost 4 times that of south africa, that means if SA used $10b for feeding with a $5b remnant, Nigeria would use nothing far from $40billion for feeding at same standard market situation leading to budget deficit of over $25billion and nothing left to finance other sectors e.g military, bt yet still Nigeria is economically transparent enough to go in par with SA Defying the great and enormous advantages you have! SA ecomomy is a little higher than Nigeria's all things being equal SA should have been 4 x 50 years ahead of us given that SA has more revenue to carter for a less populace while Nigeria has less revenue to carter for more populace . . . . . .bt no we are in the same boat!!! The SA i must confess have really been trying in developing war-techs, Nigeria has also done same, bt the problem is our govt is not really helping us do development/production in commercial scale, the DICON Produces quality IFV's bt the only problem is funding to produce in large scale 4 export, the Nigerian navy engineers produces and has technology to produce courvets and frigates bt no funds to produce in large quantity 4 export, NAF produces BDR's and has techs to produce predator and ROV's bt same problem, 4x4 and the US army hummer like vehicles are at development stage, and coupled with vast growing auto-tech i am sure we can produce any war tanks and vehicles just funds to produce in large scale. the nigerian armed forces military doctrine is mostly west infleunced showing mostly Uk and the Usa military doctrine as well. The most important Nigerian military doctrine is to be able to fight wars in two fronts at ones, maintain peace in african and coperate in world peace. This is very evident in nigeria continous involvement in african wars and crises. And also fighting serra leone and liberian rebels at ones in two fronts while maintaining peace at home. As 4 what the do when nt fighting war, the just go 4 more training, intelligence gathering, live drills, patrols and coast guard

no am not saying we are the only ones bro. We ourselves(nigerian engineers) manufactured NNS-andoni 38meters prototype currently being deployed in the gulf of guninea. It fitted with advanced radar system, anti-ship missiles,torpedoes,97mm rapid fire guns, among others!
