Your comment above in law is class under "fallacy of argumentum ad ignorantiam", well keep dreaming 4 the goodies 4rm the west, until the take down Nigeria how the took down the soviet union, wait untill the start dropping drones on your children, father, mother just as the did in afghanistan, pakistan and middle east as a whole. @everyone what is a military doctrine?
it refers to how military forces contribute to military campaigns, military operations, battles, wars and military engagement. Just take it simply as the part troops/soldiers play during warfare and military operations

your post is quite true bro, bt there are many other air facilities you dnt knw of! Nigerian air cheif aka cheif of air staff, air marshall alex sabundu baseh said The NAF had active bt undocumented air facilities across nigeria, if you have been to air bases in nigeria you would notice there are servicable choppers and jets in the bases (some of which the models i dnt knw). Even some high ranking officers dnt knw about some of them, this is because state govt which originaly is nt supposed to be involved in defense independently most times initiate policies and procure and repair weapons using ranking officers in the air force. Bro, until you understand the modus operandi of the Us towards anything of their interest, then you would never understand. [b] the fact remains that the Cia did not invent any of this groups, but are exploiting their ideologies to their own advantage, lets take libya for example, the Saudi arabia was giving gaddafi loyalist support, and Saudi arabia was armed by the us, then us also arms the anti-gaddafi rebels, what does this mean? It simply means the delibrately wanted to two factions to fight themselves to death while the do their thing. Reason logicaly bro.

scarred: I wonder why this thread isn't generating the conversation it should. Is it because the forummers here discount the use of black-ops or false flag programs to initiate regime change or the distabilization of a region. The truth engendered by this discussion has become even more apparent now that 'Boko Haram' is claiming responsibility for kidnappings in Cameroon. All of a sudden Boko Haram has now become a regional player. It begs the question, where are they getting their funding from and more importantly, why are they now operating in Cameroon.
thank u bro! all Us foreign policies strategist wants is to see a distabilized nigeria so that the can have reason to put boots on our soil, the cause malian conflicts to grow worse so that the can establish a drone base in niger, just very close to Nigeria so that the can keep a close watch and spy on us. Imagine that blantant illumanti obama saying "that US is thinking on flying armed drones over Nigeria!! For assination mission" thats one of the most terible things i hav heard in my life. The so called Us army african command (africom) is only meant to improve Us military presence in Africa and nigeria their main target! Commanding officer of africom clearly said "Note, the Africom is meant to protect only us citizens and interest and nothing else. Any gud thinking person wud know what that means.
NIGERIA IS CURRENTLY A PART OF AN Arab-asia technological group that monitors and supervises military inteligence , thereby giving it access to encrypted messages communicated over africa, Us then started presurizing the arabs and asians to kick us out for no just reason! There are many and many more . . . . . . US IS A repeling force to african development.

Henry120: TOWED ARTILLERY

Way back in 1992 and 1993, Nigeria took delivery of the following artillery weapons from Romania

* A total of eleven units of 130mm long-range artillery. ALL the logs on the planet currently indicate 7 pieces of 130mm towed artillery, which was what was delivered in 1993. Nobody appears to realise that before then in 1992, an initial haul of 4 units had been delivered.

The correct number of 130mm guns is therefore ELEVEN units and NOT seven units as reported globally.

2) No log, no military balance has EVER recorded the FACT that in 1993, four units of 152mm towed artillery were delivered to Nigeria from Romania.

No orbat or military balance report has EVER listed this till date..

seven units 130mm long-range guns, eleven units of APR-21 122mm MRLS and four units of 152mm gun-howitzers.

ROCKET ARTILLERY

The APR-21 is the Romanian variant of the Soviet BM-21 122mm MRLS. All the logs either indicate that Nigeria hold 5 units, which is what was delivered as an initial haul in 1992 or 11 units which is what was delivered in 1993. For the avoidance of doubt, By the same token, the Nigerians ACTUALLY own 16 pieces of APR-21 122mm multiple barrel rocket launchers(MRLS).

In a 2000 report, the Institute of Security Studies actually put the final tally of APR 21 MRLS at 25 units

SEE

SELF-PROPELLED ARTILLERY

In its 1990-91 report, the IISS Military Balance listed Nigeria as holding 25 units of Oto Melara Palmaria 155mm. This represented the complete sequence of first cycle deliveries on a contract which was signed in 1982.

Subsequently, in 1992,1993,1993,2001 and 2007, Nigeria took delivery of a further 24 units of Oto Melara Palmaria 155mm self-propelled artillery. All the logs currently read 25 or 27 units whereas based on the 1990-91 Military Balance entry of 25 units, the second cycle deliveries of 24 units of that system as contained in the UN Register should indicate a total of 49 units. Jane’s Armour and Artillery put the figure of Palmaria 155mm SP guns in Nigerian service at FIFTY. This is based on a 1982 order for 25 units and a 1990 order for a further 25 units.

In effect, the final tally of artillery systems reads like this:

M56 105mm artillery – 200 units* true number classified

Oto Melara 105mm howitzers – 18 units

D30 122mm gun-howitzers – 200 units

M46 130mm long-range guns – 11 units *true number classified

D20 152mm howitzers – 8 units

Bofors FH77A 155mm towed howitzers – 24 units

Bofors FH77B 155mm towed howitzers – 48 units* true number classified

Oto Melara Palmaria SP howitzers – 50 units

ROCKET ARTILLERY

APR 21 122mm MRLS – 25 units* true number classified

BM 21 122mm GRAD MRLS – 5 units

Field Artillery – 510
SP Artillery – 50
Rocket Artillery – 50

TOTAL – 590 systems( over classified)

Allied Artillery Systems

330 mortars+hundreds of ZPU 14.5mm AA guns, 20mm Vulcan AA guns, ZU 23mm AA guns, ZSU-23-4 Shilka SPAAG, Carl Gustav 84mm RCLs, M40 106mm RCLs and bazookas.

Attack nigeria, any country in africa and we would send you all to stone ages.
and bro you have far forgot tons of others not in any inventory worldwide, e.g the 70mm avibras SBAT-70 rockets [img]http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2682/4515955998_7cde38caa8.jpg[/ing]

now please listen to information from the african union site please

nigeria has more than 10 armoured divisions with 5 thousand armoured vehicles
200 fighter crafts(including undocumented su-35's)
5 nuclear weapons( range of 1000 NM)

i as a bonifide citizen of this country have the right to know why those legislative fools are not out of seat! "If the govt cut the cost used in running the govt by reducing the number of political offices by at least 45% then it will be absolutely feasible and possible to support all nigerian graduate with stipens(allowances/wages), there is gross repition of offices at both state and federal level, sometimes even the local level, the govt should cut the cost of running the Fg by instituting most political offices, and ministries at the only federal level, state govt should cut overhead cost, the money the govt saves from this could be used to divesify the economy and pay the grads. Bt the will never listen to us if we dont go out en mass. So i strongly support the move for #OCCUPYNIGERIA season 2.

sorry to disapoint you bro, but even as early as the 80's when nigeria educational system was still very weak we had over 10,000 doctors in uk alone. Analyst say there have been serious increase since then, so do the calculation my bro. Google is your freind.

I knw SA have a chance bt it is obvious that the wont get there! I knw the SA has the capability bt ur criteria for analysis is wrong. SA dnt have any influence in africa except southern region(zimbabwe to pe precise) and the dnt have support from the permanent Security members. China and its allies how supported Nigeria aspiration as a permanent member because of the political influence of Nigeria in africa, the whole of west africa, parts of sub saharan africa. Nigerias military exploit streching from cotè d'ivoire, liberia, serria leone, darfur, etc and partically nigerian tendencies to be at helm of affairs in when there is crisis is sub saharan africa.

andrewza: Yes you correct a lot of it is not document. A lot of countries do that. Actually all of them. But hinding a locally produced rocket is easy. Hiding tanks is not. All so the cobra is a turkish wepaon. When they sold it to you they had to report it. Same for SA. I can go online and look at what we sold.

Has for unreported wepaons.
1 long rang russian misseils. You mean north korean knock off SCUD SLBM tahat never took place.

Your MLRS are listed by janes. The UN dose not do stock takeing of wepaons. So I don't under stand the UN wepaon list. None of our stuff are listed on the UN.

People in nigeria think that because they don't see pics there is jhigh secricy. It not true. You may hide small arms but all your major wepaons are knowen about. Though some times there level of maintence is not known
sorry to inform you that you may be ill informed bro, the UN has an organ that does that and is sent to other Organisations! When i mean soviet missile, i didnt mean north korean missile trade that was blocked by the us in arising fears of a posible military coperation with their major enemy! A western military analyst, former military/security adviser to us embassy in nigeria said that he was surprised to learn that Nigeria had a Soviet built missile. The only problem stopping us from acquiring ICBM's is the US. . .this is because countries that we would have had military coperations to develop missiles are enemies of the us e.g Iran and North korea, so the Us always put pressure to stop any of such military coperations.

andrewza: Both the t72 and t62 export model(or monkey model) are not good. Since both have the same gun it comes down to armour. And neither could stop each other. The Vikers is not a heavy Tank it is a MBT.

Both are old and outdated in air deffense. And shooting down a harrier is not a big deal. It is a slow low flying target(has jets go)

There is a cobra armed AGM but all reports show you did not get that version.

Ethiopia has 31 152 SPH and 21 122 SPH plus a lot of mobile MLRS sytems.

No navy since no coast line. Nigerias navy is unable to stope the spread of pirats just of it's coast.

A 4th hand SU27 would tear up in J7. The SU27 was built to kill the best air craft in the cold war USAAF the F15 eagel. It is one of the best Aircraft in the world never mind africa.

A roland would strugel vs a SU27 and what Cobra SAM. All reports show you got the APC version.

All my reports show both of you have got bad EW/ECM.

Since when have the Arabs feard nigeria. Source please.

What do you mean we have shorteges. We have more heavy wepaons than nigeria and can build more any time. Is it because you think it in storage it not in use. You do know we got a large reserve force and keeping thing in storeg when not in use is common sense. I mean we have 1200 ratel alone. Do some reshearch and yous common dog sense.
nice to hear! But i just found out from a military source that close to 50% of nigerian weapons are not documented! Therefore meaning the are not in the UN WEAPON INVENTORY, that is why nigeria is rated low! I personally have seen, motorized rocket launchers( the type used by brazil and togo) which are not documented in the inventory, a Ranking officer said "nigerian army is not an army of pictures" . The are several weapons undocumented including a soviet built long range Missile system, i had not even know we had(though in a little bad shape), there up to 3 navy warships, undocumented, several many others. I dnt knw nigerian army choose to conceed its military strength, bt its sure must be a military stragedy for element of surprise.
