No orbat or military balance report has EVER listed this till date..

ROCKET ARTILLERY

The APR-21 is the Romanian variant of the Soviet BM-21 122mm MRLS. All the logs either indicate that Nigeria hold 5 units, which is what was delivered as an initial haul in 1992 or 11 units which is what was delivered in 1993. For the avoidance of doubt, By the same token, the Nigerians ACTUALLY own 16 pieces of APR-21 122mm multiple barrel rocket launchers(MRLS).

In a 2000 report, the Institute of Security Studies actually put the final tally of APR 21 MRLS at 25 units

Therefore meaning the are not in the UN WEAPON INVENTORY, that is why nigeria is rated low! I personally have seen, motorized rocket launchers( the type used by brazil and togo) which are not documented in the inventory, a Ranking officer said "nigerian army is not an army of pictures" .
