You are absolutely right,I am Igbo born in Lagos, schooled in Lagos and till date I don't know the difference between Yoruba Christians and Muslims ,because we learnt all sorts of prayers in school, I can still say all the Muslim prayers we were taught in school ,because there was nothing like discrimination..... I think we seriously now lack religious tolerance as a nation..... this is the main reason I love Alhaji lateef jakande so much.........he made sure education and religious tolerance worked hand in hands,and lest I forgot, we learned so many technical skills ,that are still very useful to me in primary school....I personally can fix anything carpentry on my own....aaaaah.....It must be well with Nigeria.

Well from what people who live there were saying, you may not be far from the truth......looking from it from the othersude too, u dont think it was worth the presence of the vp. it could have been done low key...the worst is that they even denied people movement until later, closed down the market and had to destroy shops and tents of poor traders in this harsh economic times just to make believe or impress the Vp.
