Albion05: Apply through their recognized or approved agent/representative.
It will also make the application process less stressful. If you decide to apply on your own, it may take time for them to give you admission and even subject your application to a high level of scrutiny you won't even like.
As for the amount they charge, contact them and they will tell you. Thank you , pls how feasible is this program 'Supply Chain Management' in terms of jobs in OZ and PR. thank you... |

Guys, I tried applying to Griffith university and university of Victoria, I think it's kinda mandatory I apply through an agent. I don't know how much these agents charge, would v love to apply myself, is the a way out of this? trying to save cost, at least when necessary. |

please if you are studying in one of these university at the masters level (unimanitoba, uniguelph) or any other, did you secure a supervisor before you applied for admission/granted admission? some uni like USASK requires that a prospective student secures a faculty staff. Deadline is approaching, yet to secure a supervisor, don't know if I should go ahead and pay the application fee. please I need your invaluable suggestions. |

WEIRDPC: Your 300 level and 400 level.... do you have an idea of what your CGPA would be in just the last two years of study? I did a 5 year course... year one to year 3, I averaged on 3.0 or 3.1. I had 4.2, 3.72 respectively in year 4 and 5, still ended up with a 2:2(3.47). are you implying that this GPA can get me a direct admission for M. Sc? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by capsule(m): 11:06pm On Jan 07, 2018 |
Osemigho: The implication of your silence now would be when you apply for permanent residency, they would ask for your UCI number and linked your student application to it.
Don't silent anything, apply for EE instead. Once you become domestic student, you will have more admission and funding opportunities. You can even do another undergraduate degree after then if you like. thanks.. the EE thingy ehn... will read on it... can I pm you? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by capsule(m): 2:27pm On Jan 06, 2018 |
WEIRDPC: Hello, To show progression in your field, you should go for a PHD since you finished your msc with a high grade. You might even get funding and easy approval if you do things right.
Best wishes. thank you, really appreciate. |

Osemigho: Lol. I Hope you are finding it useful.
Admission application season for Fall is rounding up and my guess is that you are just learning the process.
My simple advise, read page 0-100 of EE thread and start the process. It is very straightforward and You can do provincial nomination.
The student route is complex and your GPA is not smiling enough. If you want to go this route, you will have to read beyond my post and strategize for admission, funding (very doubtful due to your GPA) and student visa which can also be very complicated. It is even easier to study after getting your PR.
Go and make life easier for yourself with less reading and better chances.
Shalom! I thought they mostly request for a 2:1. 3.5/5.0 is an upper in Nigeria, so you are saying he is going to find it difficult? In my case, I made a 2:2 (3.47/5.0), I have a Master's degree from UI (PhD grade). I want to go do another Masters in Canada, my plan was to follow the pgd path and be silent about the Master's degree, but I learnt winning the war with pgd at the VO's office ain't easy. so should I apply with my msc for another msc? what are my chances please... |

Albion05: My dear, I do not understand at all from what you wrote Which MSC are you applying first before switching over to nursing?.
Are you switching over after 6 months or first semester of your study or you will want to finish the MSC first before switching over to nursing?.
Applying for MSC in Nursing (Graduate Entry) will be difficult. You need a strong and convincing SOP to do the magic for you. Things are changing very fast as regards to admission in Australia in respect to first Degree Course.
If you decide to go for an MSC in xxxxx which you did not mention, been that you are in Australia already, I believe you can secure a switch over to graduate entry.
The question you will ask your self is wether you will switch over after your first semester and forfeit the initial deposit you paid and be ready to pay another school fees for the graduate entry which the average tuition is between 62 and 65 thousand Australian dollars and above for the two years duration.
Always look for Masters program that is two years duration in other to qualify for 2 years post graduate work permit or package course that will span the length of two years for qualification of PGWP. thank you for the response... what I meant is this... I apply for an M. Sc in Animal Science in university A , getting there, I decide to change course to a bachelor of nursing (graduate entry ) program in same university which is also a 2 year program... will I loose my tuition? will this affect my visa hence the need to visit the DIBP guys... or I should just apply direct to the nursing program? |

Albion05: You are welcome!. All the best. pls I don't know if I should apply for an Msc then later switch to nursing (graduate entry) or I should apply direct to nursing (forfeiting) a year tuition ain't fun. my question is, if I decide to go for an msc then later switch to nursing, wouldn't that spell issues with my visa.. secondly, if I apply for nursing (graduate entry), do I stand a chance since my first degree is a non medical subject (Animal Science)? |
