Well, I always know that you shouldn't lend (give) out cash you can't let go.
I have this friend, same high school, uni. He hammered first, now His biz isn't picking up as usual (competition and babes)
I don't have the habit of asking ppl for cash, but mehn, this guy rarely rolled with me. He had (still has) a car but his clique changed, and off course, I wasn't among. Didn't feel bad.
Well, I'm a quiet person, kept working on my plan.
Last year, heaven picked my call, now same guy has been biting me. Got so bad dude was calling me every time, asking me to lend him 300k, say he will return it in 4 days...infact that the only thing that will stop him is if rapture happens, and even if it happens and he makes it to heaven while I'm in hell, he ko d give me water and food to make up the cash.
I knew the bite will not end and we started way back, I gave him 100k, this is the 3rd week, dude never even called to acknowledge the cash.
I'm I pained that the cash is gone? No (I knew it will go)
Why will I keep asking him for a refund? So he will know that he is indebted to me, this will keep me off another bite.
N/B. Sometimes you need to buy ppl off you, but don't go broke doing this. I bought Him off me, even if He refund the cash today which is very unlikely ;he defaulted.

You'll not start from the scratch.
By March 2020, that will be a year and 1 month. I don't know for other province, but here in Alberta, you have to do a knowledge test and a road test. You ace these two guys, you'll get a Class 5 GDL.
By March 2021, you should be eligible to do a road test for your Class 5 advanced DL.

But while you drive with your class 5 GDL, be careful because you fit commit one offense whr ko troway your eligibility.

If you still have time left until you travel, get it. It can buy you somedays.
By time, I mean like 6 months, if I'm not mistaken, it might take you about 2 to 3 months to get a ninja DL

Cheating is NEVER a mistake, at least not twice, thrice or a fourth time. If your bf had expressed His reservation on you car pooling with that man, I'm sure you would had tagged Him 'insecured '.

These things follows a trend, when you have issues with your guy/babe, the best person to have a heart to heart talk to remains your guy/babe because the third party might just capitalize on your moment of emotional imbalance.

Most important.... the person should teach you according to international standards. Great you are learning on standard/stick shift. If the trainer is teaching you to use one foot for accelerator only.... and the other foot for brake and clutch.... stop...get a new trainer. Always..... wear your seatbelt... regardless of what anyone has to say. ... not because of laws... but it can help prevent severe injuries/death... it is about your safety. Practice signaling ... before changing lanes.... turning... and most of all glancing in your rearview mirror to know what's happening around you.

Very important, but unfortunately most Nigerian roads lack the basic road markings, posted speed limit and adequate signs.
Been driving since 2007, late this year, I moved to the Northern part of the World, I realized I had to unlearn most of my Ninja driving habits.

It's all fun, every road users here happens to know exactly what to do (bad drivers are everywhere sha).

One of my friend is taking same path, I took time to explain EE process to Him, dude said it's too complicated, got an agent to do some stuff, have parted with some cash already, told me that God will shift boundaries for his sake. I awaits the outcome. I have done my path, told him the inherent dangers in it.

A PR visa last for 5 years, one can choose to move at any time....But to be eligible to renew a PR visa, you must stay in Canada for 2 yrs out of the 5, if you stay for 3 yrs out of the 5, you can apply for citizenship.

This thing you just posted is giving me serious concern presently, babe says she is working on her self. On the other hand, I read that people don't change. Me that can't get anything done once I'm emotionally traumatized.

Same here, I abandoned my application as an international student, I got my PR , I will resume school soon. Low fees compared to what international students will have to pay, eligible for Grant's and I can work full time while I study.

You can't possibly renew till you have six months left on your passport & your 6 months start counting by August which is around the corner. Call your sure contact to renew it for you by next week Monday(29th July). You'll then join the 2 together for submission & to embark on your trip by October. My 1 cent.

Please my passport expires Feb 2020 (next year), and I might not travel until October, should I get a new passport, send both of them to Accra with an LOE? I got 12 days left for submission, I'm somehow sure I can get a passport before Monday next week.
Secondly, I am a single applicant and my family status remains the same (siblings and parent), do I need to complete form IMM008?

IETLS: This guy showed me pepper, I lost weight, I just knew I had to pass this exams even if it means passing for the sake of passing, sometimes its psychological for me.
12th, May 2018 (1st attempt) : BC LRWS 7.5,7.5,6.5,7.5 ( I tried my luck on a remark, my 15k flew away).
8th, Sept 2018 (2nd attempt): BC LRWS 7,7,7,7.5
1st Dec 2018 (3rd attempt) : MOD LRWS 8.5,7,7.5,6.5 (speaking got upgraded to 7 after a remark)

I got my upgraded TRF on the 28th Jan 2019, I still don't know what pushed me to set up my profile immediately, we had a surprise draw on the 30th of Jan with a cut off draw of 438. My score was 450, so I got ITA.

ECA: 13th June 2018 ( evaluated only my Master's degree)
NOC: 4031 (NYSC)
AOR: 2nd March 2019
MEP: 15th April 2019
BIL: 17th April 2019
No ghost update, in fact, my eligibility isn't passed yet according to my CIC account.

Well, I did nursed the plan to leave the country immediately after my M.Sc, in fact I came across Express Entry after my NYSC in 2014, plan was to apply immediately after my M.Sc in 2017. Till this very moment, I still don't why and how I allowed 2017 slid by without even thinking of EE.

After my first ielts attempt, I just knew that I had to secure POF first.
POF is 100% gift from my Bro, I invested same in NTB, used the upfront interest and be dashing BC

Medicals/PCC:
I did medicals with IOM (Lagos) and PCC with Inspector Moshoud.

Congratulations to all the ielts smashers and ITA grabbers, please whatever situation you may face in this journey, just know its temporarily, don't give up, we will all get our heart desires in due course.

well, personally, I've benefited so much from this forum as well as from people's experiences.

At some point, I asked an agent how much it would cost me if He were to handle this EE thing for me, dude told me 2.5m (I get to write my ielts, figure out my Wes, medicals and pcc), so it was plain obvious that I would be paying Him 2.5m just for information, converting my files to PDF and clicking submit.

And if you've ever had to rewrite ielts, you would know that sometimes the determination within isn't enough, having read from scripts the numerous times people had to struggle with ielts and eventually passed, that was just the external strength I craved for.

So to all the good peeps of Nairaland, your apt responses to questions and the various links on page 1 saved your guy some good cash.
