omalichanwa007: Go to stella's blog now u will see her post "in house news option" she didn't want to openly share d news that her blog is off so she had to create that post for the first tym so people will make for Linda. Stella is not a good person
Stella did not made Linda a thief. Besides, Stella's blog is far more more advance than Linda's.
focus7: I still don't believe that Russia has mustered enough technology to match or defeat US.
Let me help you. Russian made made military helicopter is the best. Ka 52 is by far better than Apache A10. Russian made PAK FA T - 50 is better than F 22 or F 35. Russian made S 300, S 400 and now S 500 is far better and more reliable than any missile defence in US. Russia has the biggest nuclear bomb ever known to humanity. Russian made nuclear subs are one of the best. NASA/America can only go to space when Russia said so.
When you stop watching or listening to western propaganda and start reading independently you will understand.
By the way, here is your mighty US.
Russia is to deny the US future use of the International Space Station beyond 2020 and will also bar its rocket engines from launching US military satellites as it hits back at American sanctions imposed over Ukraine crisis.
Russia’s deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin announced a series of punitive measures on Tuesday against the US in response to sanctions imposed after Russia annexed Crimea.
The two countries have long cooperated closely on space exploration despite their clashes in foreign policy.
The Space Station is manned by both American and Russian crew, but the only way to reach it is by using Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft. The US is keen to keep the $100 billion (£600) ISS flying until at least 2024, four years beyond its original target.
Obi1kenobi: Is this a joke? America's conventional forces would destroy the whole world combined. They have the numbers, they have the training, they have the greatest practise in battle all over the globe, they have he greatest technology. Russia's conventional armed forces isn't even as good as the British, the Germans or the French. They wouldn't even withstand tiny Israel. The strength in Russia's military is in it's nuclear stockpile. No one in their right senses would attack Russia cos like America, they have enough nuclear firepower to destroy the world several times over.
Stop watching or reading all those Soviet era portrayals. Russia's military might is the most overrated in the world.
gatiano: if one is to combine all the armed forces of the whole world except the united states(russia, china, japan, mid east, africa, euro union, south america, everybody) against united state, if united states wants, it won't allow a bullet to penetrate his airspace, water or land. but they will bring all down. that is how powerful they are. and they is a single reason for that. GOD gave them all the knowledge they needed so that when GOD brings united states down in just a single day, all the rest will just bow and go and rest.
They have all this and some terrorists hijacked and flew planes into world trade centre?
Bluetooth2: Russia is ready to sell, so this useless people should stop complaining !
The FG should just come out and tell Nigerians the truth what the money is meant for, cos they just signed arms deal with Russia last month.
In August Russia and Nigeria signed a large contract for delivery of helicopters, ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the head of Rostec State Corporation’s delegation at ADEX-2014, Sergey Goreslavsky. "In August a contract for delivery of a large batch of helicopters to Nigeria was signed. This refers to significant number of Mi-171Sh and a few Mi-35M helicopters", - Goreslavsky said. He added that Mi-171Sh and other versions of Mi-17 helicopter are in demand in Africa. "Mozambique is interested in these vehicles and we are going to promote the helicopters at the exhibition held in Republic of South Africa", - he added.
Why have they resort to smuggling money into south africa, when they just signed an arms deals with Russia last month?

According to Goreslavsky, new sanctions imposed by EU on Friday will have little impact on Russia’s export deliveries of weapons and military equipment.
"Taking into account tasks set in terms of phasing out imports, we believe that the new sanctions imposed by EU will have little impact on our export deliveries", - he said.
It was reported earlier that EU expanded sanctions against certain sectors of Russian economy. In particular, the sanctions ban lending to five Russian state banks, three defense and three oil companies for a period longer than 30 days. For the first time United Aircraft Corporation, Uralagonzavod and Oboronprom Corporation (part of Rostec Corporation) made the sanctions list. The head of Rostec Corporation, Sergey Chemezov, was also included in the list. On August 12th CEO of Rosoboronexport, Anatoly Isaykin, said that the company signed a number of large contracts for delivery of weapons and military equipment to Middle East and North Africa. In particular, Bahrain will take delivery of Kornet-EM anti-tank weapon system; Namibia – small arms, Kornet-E systems, ammunition and trainers.
angelseddy: Talking about upscale matured readers/users bellanaija and stella Dimokorkus blog should be mentioned. LIB just has high traffic full of kids. Leave Seun alone please. He ain't LIB ain't same @ all. He adds value to us compared to LIB that has little/nothing to offer. They don't have the same vision. There's so much fun and relevant learning going on here, bellanaija and SDK blog. LIB doesn't have that to offer!
maclatunji: You guys seem not to get it. Obviously, a blog is different from a forum. However, if an advertiser has a budget and has to choose the best platform to get the best ROI, which will it be between Nairaland and Linda Ikeji's blog? This is what we are debating and to anybody who observes and analyses objectively, Linda is winning the contest.
Neither of the 2 is my favourite for online advertising but let us just consider that both Nairaland and Linda Ikeji are Nigerian brands and give them a little support.
You don't get it either, I'm not comparing a forum with a blog, but tryingto compare a blog with another. Linda used to be people's favourite, but not anymore. Go check quality posts, matured comments and blog visitors on Stella's blog. Agreed, nairaland is very annoying and less innovative, but I can't stand Linda's blog for a minute. Since the day I read from Stella's blog, I stopped posting here or going to Linda's blog. Linda's blog moved from hundreds of response to less than 10 in some cases. Believe me when I say she pulled this stunts to keep up with joneses. Like I said earlier, Linda is just living on her past glory. Her blog is the most annoying place to visit.
Linda made it through gossip blogging and controversial posting but as soon as the bucks started rolling in, she started becoming 'classy' in her blogging. Unfortunately, that might not get her far because people have started shifting audience to stella's blog because she gives it to them 'raw' like they want. The truth is Nigerians love gossip and controversial posts.
Tex42: I Tell u. some one is about to get his/her a$s fired by seun.
Nland mods sha...lol!
Linda is just trying to re introduce herself, cos her blog is going down by the ours. Go check the juveniles commenting on her blog presently, all of them are on paid per post.
chronique: Funny enough,my nairaland account is always open 24/7 but I can't remember what year I visited linda ikeji's blog. And since she started her blog,I'm not sure I've visited it up to 5 times. Same thing with bella naija and co. But I've spent several yrs on nairaland. Different strokes for different folks.
If you want a more matured blog visitors and real-time decoding, then visit Stalla's blog. She only approve response with substance and some first to "commenters" like Linda
cremeandchic: People who say there are mostly low income earners on Nairalanddon't know what they r saying; i know the calibre of clients i have met through Nairaland. Anyway, everyone is entiled to their opinions. As for me, Nairaland made me!
Nairaland has all classes of people-from the low class to the creme dela creme; you just gotta believe that.
Nairaland also has a lot of potentials; if you've been on Nairaland for at least 2 years and you still don't have a source of income then you are really short-changing yourself. Stop sleeping in the romance and sexuality section, look around; there's so much in here.
Linda's blog= Entertainment
Nairaland= Potentials, ideas, opportunities, information, networking, the list is endless.
This is coming from someone who visit both sites at least 3 times a day.
Stop glorifying Linda. Stella's blog is now the biggest. Go figure it out.
ketoprofen: Well, Linda ikeji is a blog sha, not a website and the biggest in Nigeria. I had heard its the biggest blog in WA . Anyway, more grease to their elbows. Good to know nl has traffic
Linda is just living on past glory! Check out Stella's Blog!!
Dear Stella, I am the physician and Medical Director of the largest health freedom organization, the Natural Solutions Foundation who wrote an Open Letter to the Heads of State and Ministers of Health informing that that despite the statements of so called experts and authorities, there actually is a simple, safe, natural cure for Ebola virus in Nano Silver. I then made a video directed specifically to those persons which I posted on Youtube.
My Open Letter was heavily referenced and I then made available a piece of research that was conducted by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency of the US Department of Defense and declassified in 2009 that shows exactly that: Nano Silver 10 PPM (NOT colloidal, ionic, protein or other silvers) was clearly able to inactivate the Ebola virus.
I subsequently wrote a Protocol for its use and made that available without cost, along with a complementary subscription to my Newsletter for uncensored updates at httpp:///EbolaProtocol. I would appreciate it if you would share this link as widely as possible.
I was shocked and, frankly, dismayed to find that a Nigerian doctor is now claiming that he "discovered " Nano Silver and that he intends to patent it, as well as hearing him say that it is a drug. It is a nutrient, not a drug, which is a profoundly important distinction both for regulation and for use. The President of Nigeria acknowledges that he read my letter but never contacted me directly or indirectly. My materials were hand delivered to him and the Minister of Health. There was absolutely no response. Why? The Minister of Health had my materials hand delivered to him and did not respond. Why? Then suddenly the same thing that we have been ignored while presenting is something that someone "discovered" and intends to patent? I am deeply concerned about this and I believe that you should be, too, until the situation is proven to be genuine and valid and then I will rejoice with you. I was not contacted or consulted by the doctor although I have been VERY public about this solution to the horrifying - and unnecessary - Ebola crisis. The supplier of the ONLY solution of Nano Silver 10 PPM which has ever been tested against Ebola virus has not been contacted by this doctor.
I have several major questions:
What Nano Silver is he using? Not all Nano Silvers are created equal. What is the concentration? 10 PPM has been shown to be strikingly more effective in inactivating the Ebola virus than 25 or 50 PPM. What is the composition? Nano silver can be ionic, metallic, silver oxide, etc. Nano refers only to the size, not to the nature of this compound. What is the protocol which will be used? This is obviously critical. What are the criteria for patient selection? This is equally obviously critical.
On the other hand, I am very concerned that if this Ebola has been weaponized, and there is good evidence that it has been, then the powers that brought this disaster forward and which suppressed the information that there is a simple, inexpensive, safe cure and prevention for it would be only too happy to have the Nano Silver trials fail in a public and definitive way. And they can fail if the answers to the questions above and others are not correct. Therefore I urge journalists, scientists and others with a public voice to look carefully and sceptically at everything that happens, asking all these questions most emphatically and demanding logical, clear and transparent answers, publishing them widely so other scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, public health specialists, etc., can make sure this is not a show trial designed to fail. Just because someone is a doctor does not make them immune to pressures or incentives to do the wrong thing. Now this doctor may, indeed, be determined to do the right thing, but in order to make that real, the rigor must far outweigh the euphoria.
I would be very happy to be interviewed at your convenience about any subject you find relevant. Yours in health and freedom, Dr. Rima Rima E. Laibow, MD Medical Director Natural Solutions Foundation www.DrRimaTruthReports.com http:///StopEbola
Lexusgs430: @spirit1 - But the main problem is when dealers are not sincere about the true history of the vehicles they are trying to sell. And in the op's case, overpriced salvage vehicle. Give the buyer a choice. If vehicles do not have a history, but have been involved in an accident, some buyers would not know, but eagle - eyed buyers would. Vin check is a tool to be used, let's use it. I have no problem buying a salvaged vehicle, only if it is appropriately priced and fixed accordingly.
Very well said. I need to know what am buying and the nature if damage in it. Paying 3.3 million naira on a car that should supposedly be a scrap is not a good one. What's wrong with him telling me the true nature of the car?
If am going to buy a salvaged car, let me know what am buying and at what price. But this guy was even telling me that he was doing me a great favour.
But its salvage report was not detailed enough. This happens often with some Canadian vehicles
Ok. but what do you suggest? After a careful observation, I was able to notice that the bumper has some little residual paint at the contact edge between the bumper and the main body implying it has be repainted in the past.
The dealer made no such comment about the real nature of the car. The engine is perfect, keyless and thumbstart. The price is even slightly higher than what is obtainable elsewhere.
What would I have done without you guys? May God bless you all.
I was about paying for a car and I thought about running a VIN check. Though I was so reluctant in the beginning due to the near perfect nature of the car but to my surprise the VIN check came out and the report says the car is SALVAGE . Please I would like to understand from our in-house car dealers the problem with the car. Thanks.
