Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by captured(f): 10:50pm On Jan 02, 2016
The one account policy requires all federal institutions to be given anccount number by the FG and My institution is still been processed or something like that...bottom line, we are yet to get the account number for transcripts

JesusDWay:

Using Canreach is a waste of money, I'll charge very less wink

Much of what you have said here is hard to understand. What is One Account Policy and, how does it affect your institution regarding sending your transcripts to WES. All you need to pay for WES is your atm card. You get on their website and fill necessary details and provide details of your card. They will notify you of successful payment and give you a reference number which you will ask school to quote in the cover letter for your transcript. Also, there's a Transcript Refuest Form you will print from WES which you will fill part of it and give your school to fill the rest and include with your transcript before sending it. I don't see any hard thing here except you have issues with how you do payment transactions.

You can choose as many provinces as you like but, Google the province in Canada where your intended occupation is doing well in and that can guide you in your choice of province

Hi, i am applying for FSWP through an agency (canreach) and all was going well till The One Account Policy. it has prevented my institution from been able to send my transcript to WES since we have no account to pay to and it cant be processed without payment evidence.
Would this delay impact on my application.

Also, i am wondering which state to select, am a single mum of two boys age 5 & 7 which means school has to be within reach. I currently work as web developer/consultant and own my own DI/Heat Transfer Press

Family / Re: Should Parents UnCloth In Presence Of Their Children? by captured(f): 8:39pm On Aug 07, 2010
IT depends on the attitude of you and your folks. however, I must caution that you don't encourage nudity within your family if you are not ready to be open about sexual matters. Kids as young as three will ask why mum does not have a third leg and why they have flat chests.
If you cant deal with such questions honestly, DO close you door to dress.
IF you are willing to discuss such then feel free.

My younger brother (the only boy) used to hide himself from the moment he could bath himself (primary sch) but was forced to expose it all when he caught a toilet infection (from his pry sch) which got quite bad because he was feeling uncomfortable with me and mum been female. No one made fun of him but the doc told him, he should have spoken earlier and since then (with much encouragement he freely talks about his privates within family.

Am married now and comfortable bath together with my son. My husband and I patiently answer any question he has about body parts as the alternative is letting him learn at school through peers or through paedophiles who mask around as teachers in nursery and primary schools

DO NOT HOWEVER ALLOW SUCH EXPOSURE WITH RELATIVES NOT EVEN COUSINS, AUNTS AND UNCLES. and do attach dad to son and mum to daughters as often as possible. if you fall out of line and pack ur balls in public, itch your nipples in fronts of guess. your kids are going to do so its really your choice

Go to sites like parentlingweekly.com and learn how to introduce you child to personal hygiene and matters of sex by example, you get to see to pros and cons and how to manage it, when to start, when to stop.
Family / Re: How To Avoid In-law's Problem - I Need Ideas / Tips On It by captured(f): 8:53pm On Jul 17, 2010
Great Topic,
Honestly, in-laws and friends of the spouse are the same so i will give you my best advise i have

Treat them as you would if they were your family or friends, if they react negatively then abeg, let them relate through their child (your spouse) o, otherwise every word you say will be used against you when they report to your spouse

This attitude kept my marriage when my in-laws set about ruining it. My aunts -in -laws insisted i stop calling their children who were my friends before the union by name or nicknames which we had all been using for over a year, they even went as far as telling me what i can cook or not cook for my husband, same applied to how i was relating with my own child.

Every time, they started i just smiled and yet they went reporting to my husband that i was been a bully and wanted everything my way, after much back and forth, my husband was forced to tell them to let us run our home, its been over a year and they aunts are yet to visit again but their kids come around
Family / Re: Must I Wear Our Wedding Ring? by captured(f): 6:30pm On Jul 07, 2010
If the ring is valuable, you dont want to wear it regularly to avoid undue attraction. If you have to wear it all the time to make your spouse comfortable or something like that, then get a dud (cheap) version of your ring made and wear that everywhere. daily use of expensive wedding rings has been known to cost many their lives

This issue of security is why most couples don't wear their wedding bands daily.

Reasons such as "feeling trapped" are for those who were not ready for marriage in the first place and those who still want to play the field

Family / Re: First Pregnancy. First Labor. First Baby. How Was It? by captured(f): 3:07pm On Jun 11, 2010
Guess am really one of the lucky ones, went through the whole nine months without a hitch (no spitting, no vomitting, no pains, just a craving for fast food and citrus fruits) except for one morning i woke up to see my left feet swollen (that was the worst thing that happened in the whole nine months) the doc said to flex it so the baby would shift since the position was the problem. Within 24 hours, my feet was normal and i even went on long journeys without he car since my husband was afraid i will faint at the wheel or something.

Labour was also like a text book, it felt just like menstrual cramp and i did not realise i was in labour till my husband complained that i was getting up too often (less than 30mins apart), left home around 4am since the hospital was quite far and delivered under an hour of arriving at the hospital. The doc could not believe i was a first timer as it was as if i planned to arrive just in time for delivery
The nurse had to burst the water out since i was fully dilated and it wasnt coming of its own volition.

My husband who had only witnessed a CS delivery was in shock for a while and it took my mum to get him moving

My boy is now 2 and continues to be a source of pride. I continue to use the nature of his delivery as a prayer point

Politics / Re: Ribadu Apologises To Police Over Sack, Rank, •psc Faults Apology Letter - Latest by captured(f): 10:24pm On May 25, 2010
Obasanjo is bad yet he is acclaimed the best president Nigeria ever had, reson, he rules like a democratic mafia don with his own mode of ethics (which i dont approve of) but it worked and paved way for a kind of mild revolution. Problem is just like the mafia, the don is always in charge even after he has openly handed over powers. He has to ensure he is protected on all levels at all times at any cost
Ribadu is just another of such person and for all the difference in their ideals, they seem to have a common passion for a better Nigeria.

I do not approve of their modus operandi but i think anyone that doesn't have a better idea and the courage to face the opposition that comes with their positions should stop talking and focus on praying that their ethics don't get to the level of yerima of child marriage.
Culture / Re: What Is So Wrong With Being Left Handed by captured(f): 12:29pm On May 25, 2010
My 2yr old seems more comfortable with his left than his right so when i took him to school, i made a point of telling his teacher not to stress him about it.
Mother's pride aside, he is quite brilliant and has been confirmed to have a high IQ so why would i let any illiterate confuse him over a natural thing like been left handed or right handed.
On his own, he still tries to use his right cos we are all right handed but in the long run, its his decision, when he is eating, i just tell him to stick to one hand, i dont give a hoot which he decides on, never hearde been leftie killed anyone but lots of research has shown that attempting to change them to right hand use slows down their development rate. That is enough for me to take my stand against a culture that was cut out by people trying to find a common ground long before electiricity
Politics / Re: Don't Honour Invitations, Muslim Group Tells Yarima by captured(f): 12:10pm On May 25, 2010
We all know the norther leaders are as selfish as the word and do not in anyway practice the sharia they impose on the citizens. They are corrupt and lack conscience, Yerima has children whoa re older than 13 and are yet to maryy, is it because they are so undesirable or because he desire better for his own children.

The religious extremist who continue to support him are merely people like him who are led by their stomach and selfish gains instead of the sharia they claim. For even as a Christian, a good study of the bible lets us understand that sharia is a law that is worthy of saints with extremely high standards of morality and selflessness, hence the argument by those who understand it that no one can live up to the expectations of sharia, but instead of aspiring to better themselve and meet up, the supposed leaders continue to fall far short of expectations as if God is an illusion.

Let us continue to pray for them and hope for a spiritual revolution regardless of religion.

Also worthy of note is the fact that this acts are not limited to islam but the fact that they have people specifically leaders who defend this selfish acts while protecting their own families from them is why the is outcry against them.

Culture / Re: This Woman Explains Why She Hates Being Black! by captured(f): 9:05pm On Mar 01, 2010
The statement about black women programmed to be fat just tells me she is a white woman in black skin and that is really why she cannot stand herself. I am proudly nigerian, mother of one and i still wear size 12. fat or thin is in your gene or your habit and has nothing to do with your skin
i bet she has a secret stash of chocolates and fatty stuffs, let her go on vegetable soup for a while and make no secret trips to fast food joints. also, remember black women work hard so they burn their excesses without the gym

NOt Fair at all.

I wont defend him on the ground that you voted for him cos i know you did not.

however the guy was an officer and we know the standards, lets commend him for doing something this big, for real this is a major miles stone for his rank o.

and his experience with the black uniform might have brought about teh white colour, not to worry, he would soon be advised to place adverts on it and thus make it more colourful

As per his skin, why you dey hala, e never do reach MJ, so he still has a long way to go, some one close to him should advise him on brands sha

Finally, will you all stop nagging and start thinking of your own personal projects to offer politicians as part of their campaign plans, election is near so you have a good chance of positive response no matter how messed up as long as it is visible

-sustainability

I am also hoping they can find a way to ensure they do not end up with strikes down the road cos i know the govt unis did not start out thinking of going on strike every 3months

Suddenly, the atmosphere here has turned into marriage proposals for some ladies. Everyone is seeing the guy's looks in conjunction with his money. Naija women and money

not even for 50m will i marry an igbo man or a person of another faith. especially one that flaunts his drinking stamina like Aroma.
However, the guy is smart, and all those claiming foul play should devote more time to studying instead of thinking studying ended at school.
also do not overlook the fact that the guy is well traveled and seems to learn from everything and everywhere.
I can place a bet, he can compete in the US WWTBAM and still ride high.
As for Frank, am happy to see someone who did not fall for his tactics, but that is what happens when you are sure, just ask WAEC and JAMB
Islam for Muslims / Re: She Made Love To Me (In Ramadam Kareem) by captured(f): 12:45pm On Sep 07, 2009
All you fanatic muslims should stop been judgemental , wonder why i care sef, the international abuse of your scripture and the christian scripture is evidence of how twisted both leaders and followers have become. A girl who knows she has been sexually active with a guy and they both want to have sex, the only reason they have for not getting round to sex is ramadan., SHE calls him up, arrives dressed to impress (a guy who already gets hard thinking of her) and you think she really went to gist (since she supposedly cant eat yet), lol,

LAzarus might be a Hot bear, but the babe sure went in search of a Bleep, she was the one fasting, the guy had made his intentions known,
the way i see it, lazarus is the one bothered, if you ask me, the girl is going to come round more than once again before the fast is over and poor lazarus is probably just concerned cos of extremist if matters come to light

girl you gat some big ass feet grin

those of us with big feet are often stuck with the solution of forcing your feet into smaller sized shoes or waiting for one chance in two years to find a shoe that looks right and fits just fine.
I opt for peep toe slippers and sandals which often have big sizes and presently own less than 6 shoes, 2 which i often end up carrying when i wear them out.
Religion / Re: Is It Really Sinful To Take Alcohol? by captured(f): 12:05pm On Sep 07, 2009
Alcohol consumption is not a sin, however excessive consumption of alcohol and just about every other thing IS a sin.
The big deal about alcohol however is the fact, most consumers indulge with a mind to control their intake but get carried away. Very few people consume alcohol with a mind to getting drunk, yet they end up drunk.
Its like sex, which is a good and certainly divine activity but is abused when practiced outside the confines of a legal union / marriage, or when practiced with a view to dominate, insult or belittle your partner.
God has made all things for our own good, the tree in Eden was a shade but fruits there of was not to be eaten, human nature just had to do the unapproved and eat thereof.
God always lets you know the rules but then we are a human and can always find a good reason to mess up but don't ever claim ignorance, Excessiveness in any and everything IS A SIN

All recommended creams for skin are good. I used revlon as a child, changed to dove as a teenager and presnently romancing nivea, my skin is my pride. am aware they all have ranges of soap, lotion, cream, and cleanser for all skin types except revlon cos i never saw the soap
better still try home made mix which i use for my son, buy about N200 worth of shea butter (ORii in yoruba) heat it, add three (3) spoons of honey, the smallest bottle of yago olive oil or more depending on your skin type. if you have any skin issue like rashes, add sivoderm and voila, leave for a day to cool (do not refrigerate) you have a nice creme.
yet to give it a name but everyone wonders what my baby and i are using so i can vouch that it works. wink
