See me now going through the same thing, 28, unemployed. Owing loan apps. Hoping for change that seems a little far away. But funny enough I'm in an environment where every guy of my age has made it through Yahoo but that's not something I'd love to do at all. It would be hard to forgive myself after scamming people of their hard-earned money. The only things I ever stole were drinks from my mother's fridge and meat from her pots.

See let me tell you the fact today. Life Is extremely hard now most especially for the poor people. You see the elite, wealthy, rich and well to do people aren't left out as well because they are experiencing their own share of the cake, forget about the luxuries they flaunt, it's a cover up for their inner pains. No one is having it rossy 100%. What i have noticed so far is if you are born into a poor family in nigeria and to make the matter worst, you are now an introvert person. Forget your chance of making it in this nigeria is extremely slim. The best chance you have as an introvert is leveraging on Tech World positively but even at that, where would one get the money to buy tools and equipments? The reason why i am advising you is because i am quite certain you are an introvert. Most people on Nairaland are introverts. In addition to my advise, you will have to shrug your introverted nature and enter the street, i know it won't be easy but trust me i have been through thin thick and hell in this country. I will put my story on here someday. In addition, your age is another factor. You see so many things comes with aging, you are 28yrs now right, by the time you clock 30 to 31yrs your views and mentality will drastically change about life believe me. All these things i am telling you, no one thought me because i was an introvert but not a core introvert. I learnt everything through my personal experience. Hardship makes us strong, opens our mind broadly and makes us become fearless. Go through one of my threads here and see where life hits me when i was out of job and i had to resort to the street. I am quite brilliant, intelligent, astute just to mention few of my attributes. I sold almost all my belongings just to invest in a venture which was a later a blunder after. I was depressed for two months but i later geared up myself again. I am still struggling but i give thanks to God for everything. I believe and have faith i am going to make it soon. I will publish the story of my life into a book in the nearest future. Less I forget, most importantly. Always pray to God and put him first in everything. I wish you best of luck.

Losing my source of income (banking) during COVID was crazy. I contemplated suicide. Life was freaking tough. My savings could only help for about 3 months. Took me about 2 years to overcome the depression. I will NEVER wish anyone to go through what I went through.

Currently I'm In debt because of this bus because I borrowed money from people, I also sold some of my electronics and my android phone because of It In order to be able to meet up with the bus expenses. if what you posted here is true then i can bodly say he probably capitalized on your weakness and desperation. The blame is on you, who gives vehicle to people and doesn't do all the work and necessary things which is supposed to be done on it? besides i suspect he has some ulterior motives in the future. I was once in your shoes when there was still sanity in nigeria even though my own investor was a core good man, He gave me two weeks to work with the car for free and i never contributed a kobo to the procurement of the car. I made sure i pay promptly and whenever there is issue, we sit and discuss about it. I thank God for where i am today. Well people are different, My advise for you is be very careful out there. There are way too many predators out there these days who will pretend to be helping you but they have an ulterior motive. Just be very careful and prayerful. Send me a PM and see what i can do.

Thank you sir for seeing the truth In my post. I solely take blame for this Issue. My desperation and wanting to please someone caused all this. I remembered the day we took the vehicle to my guarantor, My guarantor called me one side and told me that I should let the guy go with his Vehicle that something doesn't seem right and why would I promise and agree to pay him 55k per week. But I didn't listened and I was adamant I will try to meet up blablabla, My guarantor told me again these things are not easy as I thought that I should handover the vehicle to him to go and do all the necessary things on It by himself that If the vehicle Is with me, He will be thinking I have already started using It to work and make money. But I failed to listen and see the result now. Afterall he was right. He even advised I shouldn't go on with the deal. My guarantor Is very angry with me because he told me didn't he advised me earlier on what will later transpired. I shouldn't have accepted to keep the vehicle In my possession and work with It to sort out the bills he was supposed to sort out himself, "That Was My Greatest Mistake" He can call him and confirm from him as usual. Even as I'm typing this, I still have two people I'm owing debts because of the Vehicle. I have faith God will see me through. I'm a good person but I'm not perfect and I will continue to be a good person..
