Imagine! He was only sentenced to jail... why not disposed so he won't ever be a menace to the society again? |
Same way he turned his State and Railway to high speed standard gauge (300km/h and above) àbí? These folks have had their chances and bungled it! Why do we keep considering them? |
My own grievance is that the World bank’s solar acquisition fund $750m meant to cushion the high initial cost of getting solar systems was directed away from those who truly need it in the cities to Rural Electrification Agency (there own way of protecting the non performing GENCOs and DISCOS) |
They have destroyed the Honors roll in Nigeria Fawehinmi, Achebe & others saw it coming and rejected their national honors if the caliber of people being given were as being seen
|
rummmy:So you agree they truly troop to Eldorado- Lagos… But because of entitlement spirit, you’d claim it is only because they developed it, right? Can you prove any of it? Who invested what, how much? when? Don’t you think the eastern region leaving her turf to develop a place clearly delineated as others from way back then shows it has a thieving/thievery capacity and nature that you are now trying to put forward as virtue? |
I think the OP meant “can’t “ afford… Basic needs = housing, food, transportation, education, electricity, health, security & telecoms services |
Good. Only that the report is wrong about cheaper mobile phones |
Because of money Money Because of accompanying express service… Especially if they know you are a VIP and needing it urgently… What did you think the Adeleke or Bihari’s aides would have offered school staffers when looking for their certificates too ? People that flew/traveled from Abuja. Staying in big hotels etc phemray: |
I will only reply you the part I got drivers license from licensing office and FRSC told me it was fake…!!! If you too can explain that, explain Nigeria and be our next president o erniok2: |
You are biased already…think clearly Someone schooled abroad and didn’t forge graduation certificates there o. Now comes to Nigeria at a time she’s passed serving age is the issue here… Now she’s supposed to SIMPLY OBTAIN AN EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE to that effect, why would she go ahead to forge that when all she needs to do was apply to NYSC for it? She applied (and those that helped her thru the process and later were used to expose her) got her a fake one just as I had gotten fake drivers license from the government licensing office in the past (the officers THEN o were taking/making the monies for themselves)! They wanted her out because they wanted to use Hadiza and Emefiele to loot and they achieved it. frankputer: |
Watianoengineer:This fish dey vex o |
Maybe if our leaders become accountable and transparent, we’d be able to trust. But for now…dey play Omalicious1: |
Most comments fail to account for the adrenaline rush of being in that situation of being under such unprovoked attacked before getting any upper hand… Coupled with back stories one might have heard of/about the attackers. or not knowing if attacker was truly acting alone (they often do not move alone) I would assume the attacker had been doing the same and getting away with it! |
The DSS are silly Can't they reference the time of purchase/registration to the time of the crimes by bandits? Why didn't they use the same vigor to arrest the criminals when they were using the line? Na civilians their power dey gree |
Why not automatic jobs? After footing the bills by themselves... why do they need to study more only to be chasing jobs reserved for politicians & cronies? |
God answered your prayers - that's Honey money from Bees. |
The North that are truly behind this (and having meetings till now are blameless?) since Buhari agreeing to rehabilitation and reintegration are free? We keep missing the enemy by focusing on mindless, blind and unfounded mindset of bigotry/hate. Kalashnikov49: |
Silly agencies with stupid helps. Give needing public the funds directly has not worked...Why giving it to govt that will only embezzle it! The $750m funds for solar from world Bank since 2021, govt said it's for rural areas only! How many rural dwellers begged them for light? What's their consumption & how many are ready to pay? This is another $500m for same energy but they'd rather lord their inefficient cronies - GENCO & DISCO over us to make monopoly money selling darkness rather than allow them die by liberating us with alternative energy. Why not let the public access directly to pay back with consumption bill? |
Below is news reports on later happened to the money.. https://realnewsmagazine.net/mahdi-shehu-exposes-why-nia-dg-resigned/ After Ayo Oke told the panel total money was even more and Mongono was aware of it... In came Amb. Mohammed Dauda for only 3 months...he claimed his refusal to pay Kingigbe $2m bribe was why the cleric and panel secretary. Then Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, was used to replace him as NIA boss. He played ball. https://blueprint.ng/of-nia-wrongful-dismissal-daudas-defense-and-justice/ Abubakar resigned sighting family issues once Tinubu came in...they have been using security to loot for long. |
This is competition for visibility and propaganda, not funding SME...they should get serious with MSME/SMEs |
They are all jokers. Legacy debts by dead tenants or those that have moved to other places? The cards will fall apart once we agree to abandon the National The should just give out the $750m from world Bank for solar and renewable energy to those needing it. |
You named loan sharks as achievements! Can SMEs borrow from the mentioned on their short terms and survive? Why not name the agricultural achievements too? None of the tomato processors including Dangote Tomato is doing well... We lost Ginger international mkt under that regime... The president was shown fake/arranged pyramid of grains to claim rice and groundnuts gains... You name the achievements, we can't eat the printed currency that your fintechs are loaning to us at crazy interest rates. PrincessDiana: |
Silly reporting and brown envelope reporters these days! just govt praise singing is what they do now. What EXACTLY are the project deliverables (in different states)? How much is being spent and on what? What technology is being deployed? Technology is coming from where? Who is/are the contractors involved? NOTHING... YET REPORTING REFORMS ! |
That's rather insensitive! (you don't to say anything) Have seen one-way accidents on that same expressway before... Using that road frequently, I have noticed more one-way driving by motorcycles that is not being curtailed by frsc... seanery: |
Good that you did some research...but even the oyinbos inflate projects (most of energy projects costs is on labor involved yet the locals are not paid in $s) Nigerians can do it. Lekan Salami Stadium was done by local contractors. You'd notice that project costs are an issue unless we localize those rates with good questions asked. How much & how long is tractor hiring to level that pitch? How much is astroturfing or growing grass? Am not quoting you for defending evil. I just like that we in the public question why we are having a road for 15trillion and our Minister is reluctant to translate that per km. nairalanda1: |
You nailed it Feeding Bottle Governors theophorus: |
Honestly am curious, what does that do for God or it's for people like you? muyico: |
Which Nigerians are you talking about here? The Elites (that are the real problem of Nigeria, will never change...?) How many Elites are even with voters cards? And how many eventually ever vote? You will see Rivers delivering 95% in presidential elections (millions of votes) but let the real proof that it is book cooking come with gubernatorial votes Think of the last election - Lagos State - registered voters = 7,060,195 APC = 762,134; LP = 312,329 (total votes less than 1.2m) Oyo State - registered voters = 3,276,675 Winner PDP = 563,756. APC = 256,685 (less than 800,000 voted) Rivers State (with all the noise) reg voter = 3,537,190 PDP = 302,614. LP = 95,274 (that's less than 400,000 voters) The pattern is same for ALL the states (yes generalization is wrong but not in this case) and not just for the last election o Odin13: |
I wonder what we ordinary citizens get from venting on all these their shenanigans! Please tell me... He supported, okay. But was he supporting because of you or me or his personal interests? What did he do for you personally in all his years in government? These politicians know better than all of us - that they are there only for their personal interests. When his support is altruist is when I think we should be even talking about it all. But it still is not and never will be! He himself is a betrayer...it could be karma serving him cold breakfast AMINDA: |
