As a Nation we routinely put arms in the hands of criminals and call them Service men. Recruitment and discipline is not thorough or desirable.

Rufai was not immediately put as DG, he truly might not be comparable to Dauda and definitely not liked by NIA staffs that put out petitions then.

Mohammed Dauda came in after Ayodele Oke but ran into stormy waters too...with claims he refused the cabals to take the Ikoyi funds.
He was replaced by Rufai who then fired him...blw was written by former NIA staff Muhammad Ado Fili.
