Hey Guys

I still haven't got my documents back from the HO. My husband got his visa since 10/11. I thought that the documents would have been back by now.
How long does it normally take?

Medview is quite a new airline to run between Lagos and London. I don't know of any one that has used it.

Have you had good reviews about them?

Abbylove:
Wow. Scam website?

Use medview. U can get a one way ticket for about £300.

Let us know how it goes.

Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Caribbeanwify28: 10:30am On Nov 12, 2016
WOW...good thing I just came to check here. The website I was on was different and it was a pakistani guy I just spoke to on the phone who told me £442.

Thanks so much!! I wouldnt have booked over the phone anyway had to speak to my hubby first.

Lexusgs430:

Ensure you either buy from the airline directly, opodo or other recognized travel agencies and not those Pakistani fake duplicated websites

Thanks @ Lexuss just called medview £442 for economy plus. Plus two bags at 32kg each that really good. better than the 23kg Virgin give. smiley

My hubby only gonna want a direct flight.

i'll check medview cause Gatwick is like 20mins away, so much better. Thanks
Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Caribbeanwify28: 8:22am On Nov 12, 2016
Thank you, I posted it earlier.

GUYS, Whats up with the flights from Nigeria though. I went in March, June & Sep this year and never paid more that £600 on Virgin.

All the direct flights apart from like Arik are like 1k plus. It's crazy.....

No I dont mind. My husband got the lawyer before he left in december last year. I told my hubby I could have done the application but he believes in lawyers to much. We paid £550 to the lawyer, total piss take! when I used to call him and say the application is taking longer than normal he said when a decision is made we would be contacted...

Foreveryours201:

Wow. Sounds like you have been through alot. Why did you hire a Lawyer if you don't mind me asking?
Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Caribbeanwify28: 8:08pm On Nov 08, 2016
No..The HO claim my husbands case was not straightforward. Then the lawyer provided an incorrect email and the mobile number for my hubby missing a digit. So we were not getting any correspondences.

Thanks to myself being proactive and not waiting on the lawyer who I paid in full upfront, I managed to update the contact details and pay the IHS charge that the lawyer said he had paid. Long story with back to back DRAMA! Just awaiting the decision now... So fingers crossed its good news...

Foreveryours201:

Wait. was this from an appeal?

Once payment is acknowledged, a spousal visa stamp is the only thing left.
Hubby would be with you before Christmas. And you can have a double celebration (anniversary + xmas). If only I knew what Santa would put in the socks(would love to be a fly on the wall).....

Hi Guys

Just a quick update....I paid the IHS this morning and sent the email with the details...e.g. the old and new GWF, IHS ref and the payment amount..

I called the HO today they said the application is still being processed so hopefully they were still waiting for us to pay.
Fingers crossed I don't receive a refund in the next couple of days. I really pray after all this waiting that my husband would be here for Christmas. smiley
