no, my first shot was after birth.
Oh that's very good... I'm really happy for you. unfortunately, I was already sensitized before I got to know about rhesus compatibility

I am rhesus negative. I have carried two children to full term, lost one at 6 weeks. There is no cause to worry. I get my anti-D injection 72 hours after child birth or abortion

Were you already sensitized before giving birth?

Aunty your baby will not die. Dont mind the silly doctor. Rheus factor is not a death sentence. Science has made things easier. Biko go to government hospital and get proper care. This your doctor sounds like quack to me.also go to pregnancy group here on nairaland and paste your question. You will get wonderful answers from experienced mothers . Lastly try and goggle rhesus factor. You will understand it better
Thank you so much.
Health / Re: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by caridi(f): 11:36am On Jun 06, 2019
I had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks two years ago and that was it. Fast forward to this year, I got pregnant again. The pregnancy is just 5 months old, so last week, I registered for antenatal. The doctor asked me to run some tests, after which it turned out that I'm rhesus negative while my husband is rhesus positive. the doctor said I will lose the baby since I wasn't given the rhogam shot during my first pregnancy. I'm very broken and hurt... pls I just want to ask the doctors and any body that has gone through this experience before, Now that I'm already exposed to the anti bodies, is there any chance for my baby to live, if the baby is rhesus positive? admin please kindly help move this to front page

Hello madam,
We aren't God.... We'd only tell you according to backed up theories... Pls just hope on God.... And do the needful.. Because now isn't for blames and regret but for action.... I am also rhesus negative and God knows i did all the necessary findings on this just to be safe... Inherited it from my father.. It is not a death sence or sickness... But as a lady, if you find yourself in that situation is is best you marry someone with Rh negative or You need to be careful and conscious during pregnancy....Because it makes us prone to lot of things that leads to miscarriage....especially if the baby in the womb is Rh positive....
God will see you through.... Take care and do all you are told to do....
Thanks a lot, I'm grateful

Health / Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by caridi(f): 2:50pm On Feb 08, 2019
I've been a silent member of this thread and I have this to say. Pls mothers try to stay on products that don't contain bleaching or lightening agents. I made this mistake. I was using clinic clear...hmmm. Then for drugs. Pls I beg u in God's name, don't self medicate. I remember self medicating on folic acid, I heard its good but it changed my circle from 22 days to 36 days...also pls, no matter what u do, don't give d devil power by thinking your difficulty in trying to conceive is tied to some spiritual attack. The devil almost made me believe I was under an attack. But I kicked that though away from my heart. Again, understand your circle... don't miss your ovulation day. when u start seeing sticky discharge pls BD with DH. On the day the egg will b released in you, if u pay close attention to your body, u will know. On the day ur body releases d egg, u will feel a sharp pain at your side or your lower abdomen. the pls when u feel this, BD... Again, pls refrain from all these things they grind in bottle for u to drink. After trying to conceive for so long, one day I was angry, I pack all d folic acid and threw away, fling my cream in bush...and started living my life normally. I only had sex twice that month and that was the first day I saw d sticky discharge and 2 days later when I felt d sharp pain by my side (showing that I ovulated that day). Just twice, and mommies, I'm pregnant. Sometimes let go and let God. Stop trying and give God the chance to be God. May God cause your wombs to open and bear twins and more in Jesus name.

He was so wrong... if he couldn't stand seeing her or stay being married to her, y not divorce her instead of reacting in violence. Nothing justifies violence in any relationship/marriage, nothing.

Kadiria was out for blood yesterday. it was very obvious that those questions were rolled out from scripts given to her by the APC. In her bias, she shot herself on the foot by giving Atiku the opportunity to clear himself of all the corruption charges that had been leveled on him.

Find out the lerks about the procurement officer's job.
And again, what is your career goal in life?
Teaching or Office jobs?
That will help you too.
Normally, I just take the job that pays higher.... that's y this one is really confusing. I have experience in teaching but its not something I really like. The procurement on the other hand, I wonder what it will b like....
