I’m applying with an advanced diploma in a college in computer systems technology . Graduated from secondary school in 2015. I don’t have any lands or business or jobs to show home ties. Apart from my siblings, what other documents can I use to show home ties? Does advanced diploma show a logical progress in academics? I’m talking regards purpose of visit. Is it fine using the letter of acceptance of advanced diploma. Also after going through the thread throughly. I noticed I didn’t submit the following My dad’s house documents although my uncle is the sponsor My dad’s cac documents My dad’s business documents and he’s a lawyer My dad’s passport and stamped pages. He has travelled to Uk and US and returned back. Is it necessary to add those? He went to US October 2017 Do I need any letter from my dad considering the fact that my uncle is the sponsor? Please I’d appreciate answers to these. Thank you |

Hello I’m new here. I’d like to study in Australia for my undergraduate studies. I don’t know anything about the admission process or visa process. I’d appreciate if someone can put me through. Which state in Australia is nice and which college or university is good for international students and with lesser tuition fees. What documents do I need to apply for admission. I need a school that doesn’t require first semester fees before issuing admission letter although I intend to pay the first semester fees at least. Please I need advices. Thanks |

Frankrobbn1: I Carlz1,
Sorry for the late response my boss! Your aunt is not a close relative that can tie you to Canada and you don't need a letter from her addressing this. Ties are regarded as immediate family members mostly father, mother, sisters, brothers, spouse and kids. Your aunt being a resident of Canada could not have been the reason to why you were refused based on home ties. So its either you failed to prove whether you have sufficient family ties to your home country.
In order to scale through in your next application, you're expected to explain extensively more on your elderly parents who depend on you for support and must return to continue taking care of them. Your parents properties and establishment which you *(the applicant)* is traditionally heir to and can't abandon them for a foreign education. Talk more about your immediate family members (your siblings) whom you will be leaving behind, the close bond which you have established with them and can't do without seeing them around. Your personal landed properties and registered business in Nigeria (personal assest if any) how you intend to make use of it after studies. Are you an active member in your local community of which you will be returning to continue participation. Aside the aforementioned, What are your career prospects here in Nigeria. How will your international certificate be of cutting edge and paramount benefit to your home country. What impact/change can you make in Nigeria. What are your short-term and long-term after study plans in Nigeria? .....Should be well substantiated in the home ties section in your SOP.
All the best! Thank you very very much for your response. I really appreciate it |

Frankrobbn1: I personally have assisted an applicant last week to send a CSE through the web form, we got a response within the space of an hour (1 hour). My point is that sometimes they respond faster not minding the average of 10 days that was stated on their site. You're correct, the CSE has got nothing to do with their refusal, it's just a coincidence. . Thank you bro. I have ordered for my gcms note and working forward on reapplying by October when I’ve received it. How do I tackle the issue of home tie in Canada because I stated I have an aunt in Canada in my second application. Could that be the reason why I get slammed with family ties?. Do I need any letter from her addressing that? |

Carlz1: Please regarding family ties in Canada and country of resindence. I have an aunt in Canada and I stated it in my second application. She’s a citizen in Canada. Could that be the reason why they denied me stating family ties in Canada also? Because I included all my siblings documents here in Nigeria to serve as strong home ties. In my third application, I didn’t state I have a relative in Canada. Considering the fact that they already have the information in their system, what do I do to address the issue of family ties in Canada?. I need suggestions please . Thanks |

joe10: Good day to the Gurus in the house and distinguished Nairalanders.
My Study permit application was refused for the second time. I was initially refused in London on the ground of purpose of visit. I put up a strong SOP to convince the VO why I would return to Nigeria after my studies. Provided evidence of personal investments, bequeathed building from my late Father, included my admission letter which stated that payment of school fee can only be done after receiving study permit and other strong points which I did not include in my first application, but after notifying IRCC of changes in my status that my wife put to bed and stated that I have made adequate provisions for their up keep I was slapped with a refusal by nairobi in two hours after sending the message. This time nairobi stated four reasons for refusal even though I took my time to prepare a very strong SOP. I do not know whether I did wrong by informing IRCC of changes in status cos I know it is mandatory to reveal such changes to IRCC so as to update your profile. I AM NOT GIVING UP YET. Our case is similar. Nairobi denied me 30 mins after I sent them my letter of explanation through web form. I doubt if they even went through it |

wealth360: So sorry my brother. But you kept applying over and over again without applying for GCMS note. The last time you are supposed to do that, did you? I applied for my gcms notes after I had already submitted and I noticed the reason for denial was already tackled in my new application and I wrote an sop. I’d post the gcms note |

Please can I attached a letter of explanation detailing how my previous refusal reasons has been tackled. I wrote an sop but I didn’t explain how I’ve tackled the previous reasons but I used the reasons to repackage and reapply. Advice please? Can I still write and mail it to cic to be attached to my documents? |

Hello Please I have a question. I applied via paper route on July 28th. I’m trying to link my application online but it’s saying no records found. I’ve used the account to link a previous application before, could that be the cause? Do I have to create a new account and link it? Or is it that the application hasn’t gotten to cic yet? |
