Politics / Barcanista Is A Threat To Ijaw Interest by carnegiefan: 2:56pm On Nov 01, 2015
Barcanista is a threat to Ijaw interest. NO sane Ijaw person should even remotely support any ideas peddled by this unstable character.

Just imagine, it isn't even up to ONE year since Jonathan was kicked out of office by the owners of Nigeria, this guy is here talking about some phantom "resource control". In Nigeria

Apparently this Barcanista guy can't even think.
Why do you think Jonathan was kicked out?
He was simply kicked out because he was thinking about implementing the confab recommendations. Simple.
Mind you the Ohanaeze submitted a recommendation that would have seen every GEOPOLITICAL zone control its resources (which I did not support because SE is NOT equal to Igboland), but even that is too much for the North. Now imagine some resource control happening under a Buhari presidency. I even think that the North is planning to reverse the sharing formula to reflect the population distribution of Nigeria. Something they consider fair.

I just checked Buhari's list of ministers, and guess what, BOTH DEFENCE MINISTERS (senior and junior ) are CORE Northerners.
The handwriting should be clearly on the wall for hubristic "resource control" agitators.

Jonathan's 2011 presidency happened because Igbo wanted to make a statement, and they made it loudly that even the deaf and dumb in the non-Igbo east will hear. We have moved past that now.
The Nigeria of the future will not play out like the one of the past.

I repeat, Barcanista is a BIG threat to IJAW interest.

I agree with you 100%.

I pity all those that say SS or NigerDelta republic.

hehe! Never gonna happen. cheesy

Kanu knows what he is doing when he defined his Biafran territory. He is using the pre 1906 map.
The least that he can get is the pre 1966 map.
But not less, because anything less never existed politically and internationally recognized. Ever.

Interesting.
What this means is that in every respect, Biafra is qualified to be a country!

The problem now is boundary. (Non-autonomous territory).
From Mr. Moon's statement, the implementation is that there would be a recognised fault line.

Now historically, Biafra region has two know fault lines:
The pre-1906 amalgamation fault line and the Eastern region fault line. These two fault lines were administered as a unit.

What these means is that if Biafra becomes a country, it will at least comprise the Eastern region entirely or SS/SE that make up the pre-1906 amalgamation colony.

I've always made the point that those asking for "republic of Igboland" instead of Biafra are making a big mistake because it will never happen. Reason? There was NEVER in the history of Africa a region politically organized as Igbo territory alone.
This is also why those thinking that Nigeria can divide into more than 3 countries are greatly mistaken!
If Nigeria is to ever divide, it can only do so into the North, West, and East countries, maybe with minor boundary adjustments here and there.
Enough words for the wise!

Politics / Re: Nnamdi Kanu Must Be Strong For Biafra by carnegiefan: 10:31pm On Oct 31, 2015
Kanu can NEVER, repeat NEVER, compromise on Biafra. He is an intelligent man and his aim is IMMORTALITY.
In all of the history of eastern Nigeria so far only one man has achieved that so far -Emeka Ojukwu.
Kanu wants to surpass Ojukwu in fame and immortality, and I say he is about 80% there already.
He understands that everybody must die one day. What matters is what you used your life to achieve.
He says it constantly that Biafra is beyond anybody.
Biafra is a SPIRIT -a nagging spirit of the Most High Chukwu Okike Abiama.
Death awaits anyone who sabotages it.
Immortality awaits those who prove themselves honorable and faithful to Biafra.

I'm not looking at a non-Igbo culture based country.

But in your map you excluded some Igbo clans. Like I said, we have a history in Nigeria, and as such trying to draw a map of "Igboland" from Nigeria will be ALWAYS fail and produce inaccurate maps some of which our enemies use against us in future.
You should be deeper in thought than this.

I don't understand what you mean. If you're talking about the IPOB mirage of "Biafra" which is consequently a mini-Nigeria and of which it's non-Igbo members have severally renounced, then this isn't the right thread.

Sir, please tell us WHEN a referendum was conducted in the areas. Once you produce the result of the referendum, your map will start to make sense if the result is reflected there.
For now, your speculative map is doing damage to even Igbo aspirations.
I wonder why some of you guys can't think along these lines.

I shall continue to say that any attempt to carve out "Igbo nation" from the map of Nigeria will be mistaken because of our history.
These maps do more harm than good.
It is like drawing a picture of God. You will be wrong no matter how hard you try, even if you have met God face to face.
Wisdom demands that we desist from trying to "draw God".
It is easier to draw the map of Biafra and simply add or subtract from it, WHEN THE TIME COMES, not now.

“We the elders will not allow foreign bedfellows take over this state. An Ijaw man has never been conquered, we would not allow it to happen. You can call it any name. Weather they come from the Southwest, whether they come from the North to conquer us.”
“If anybody tells you as an Ijaw man that these people love you, it’s a lie. I know them and they know me too.
The South-west and the North if they come together they will continue to produce the president of this country for life. We have no hope, so we must consolidate on what we have here.
We cannot afford to fall into that trap. We will perpetually be slaves. We should protect what belongs to us, we shall not allow our young men to be brainwashed.”
“This country must be restructured. We must practice true federalism, otherwise these people will continue to exploit us. We had a President from here. They just decided to take it back, and they took it. Is that the system the young people want to run into?
What will even the Federal Government do to you if you decide to stay where you are.”

Nnamdi Kanu PERFECTLY caught the current mentality of the average Igbo person of today and I quote him........."Ndigbo have now been trapped in so much buying and selling, they have bought and sold so much consumer goods, that their brain have been consumed in the process".

Same here. I only listened to Kanu about two times and I knew instantly that he was created by God (just like some few among us) to do what he is doing.
His insight and foresight is unparalleled.
In Kanu's voice: "Those who were born to do this".
These insights come naturally to those of us who are born to do this.

When we had Bakassi boys in the east, these fulani nonsense never occurred, but it was thesame Igbo governors that went and disband that formidable group, thereby leaving Igbo land vulnerable. The north kicked against state police, so that they can keep sending in hausa/fulani police commissioners and hausa/fulani police personnel into your territory. This will ensure the continued movement of fulani cattle rearers with AK 47 in your backyard. Ever wondered how fulani will commit murder and rape, and still "vanish" into thin air?

The point you made here is so important because a lot of foreign observers can't understand what is going on in Nigeria. And since Nigerian official position is always skewed in favor of Fulani hegemons, truth never sees the light of day.

We should start by holding our moronic "governors" (who are actually taskmasters overseeing slave territories on behalf of their northern overlords) accountable for Fulani crimes in our lands.

Spot on @ the bolded. This is exactly what Nnamdi Kanu, director of radio Biafra had been saying for years. He said and I remember vividly that Fulani cattle rearers are the advanced guard for boko haram. They (fulani herdsmen) move in to your territory to soften you up by killing, raping and pillaging, preparing the ground for your total conquest and islamization by boko haram that will eventually come later. See the middle belt for example.....a region that boast of men in the military like Gowon, Danjuma and David Mark, YET they can't speak up for the wanton destruction of lives and properties of their people. The question now is how prepared is the south for this would be invasion by boko haram via their advance guard fulani herdsmen?

My brother you are saying the truth. Kanu has been harping on this point in radio Biafra but people thought he was exergerating.
We have in our midst armed advance Islamic army ready to strike us, while our governors issue shoot at sight against our unarmed people in our lands.
Nwanne, the enlightened ones among us are very few and that is my fear.

[s]BIAFRA LEGITIMATELY DESERVES TO GO. BUT.......

While resting my head and normally was actually supposed to be thinking about what the new day promises to bring, my thought quickly switched to our beautiful ibo brothers who have been clamouring for the biafran Republic and all I could say is if biafra wants to go nigeria should please grant her its wish but biafra must never go with any of Nigeria’s territory that don't share the same ideology as them. Simple

My first point is people clamourimg for Independence must be one people with the same traditional, ethnic and cultural homo-reasoning, put into consideration the catalonia in spain, the scottish in Britain, kosovo from serbia, the basque country from spain, and other region I mightt not have mentioned, my point is that this region share same idea, they are one people, they have the same ideology and aren't clamouring for independence putting other smaller regions in their folds due to resources or personal interest.

It is of the opinion that our ibo brothers are very selfish and are only driven by the resources the south south has got, I say this at this point in time that never and never is delta state, river state e.t.c an ibo state regardless of the ibo who are in it but dont even see themselves as ibo and even this our same ibo brothers call them delta ibo and not real ibo and yet due to the economic influence you tend to gain from them, they accidentally become your brother over the night, if such is to be considered do u ibo's know that yoruba's are also major part of kwara and kogi state and other territories but never has the yoruba's clamour or regard them as one of there states or people because it just common sense that this people are not yours due to some things or events of the past and with no greed attach they accept what is and what is not.

So with all said and done I would advise my ibo brothers and whosoever is championing the biafran plight that you can decide to champion and sustain your campaign with the biafran state comprised of abia, anambra, imo, enugu, ebonyi and I bet u if nigeria refuses to grant you independence then I suspect stupidity in its part but launching your campiagn with people that don't share your ideology and perspective, and who ends up living in your shadows in your dreamland biafra is never going to happen.

On this note I say biafra deserves the chance to go only if they ever concur to the absolute condition of not taking what belongs to our dear nigeria only then would there wishes and yearning be heard..... Peace.
God bless Nigeria.[/s]

The only reason why people are taking the Biafra talk seriously now is because of Mr. Nnamdi Kalu modus operandi. In the days of Uwazuruike pacifist approach who paid him any attention. How about the BILIE group (I doubt if many have even heard of them) that are going through constitutional means, who's listening to them? Personally, I think Mr. Nnamdi Kalu approach is not as effective enough. Nigeria will pay more attention to "shock and awe" any day than they will do "rant and rave".

Perhaps, Kalu should go beyond rhetoric, and if heaven fall, it will fall on all of us. Those who believe that in the event of war, the fight will be in SE soil are grossly mistaken. The last war got to Ore, surely Biafran planners will not need to persuasion to take it to Lagos and Abuja and beyond. It won't just be to defend Biafra territories but to let the aggressors also feel the impact of the war and force them to negotiate.

Best option is to negotiate now via a referendum, war won't be good for both Biafra and Nigeria. We could be good neighbors, or bitter foes, coming events will decide.

I think what you meant to ask is who is licensed to import for civilian use the assault grade rifles?

Fulani are carrying unlicensed guns.

First, there is connection between bokoharam and fulani. Fulani is the carrier or mule for weapons and.drugs and.also couriers between terrorists in Mali (majority of whom are members of AQIM) and those in Maiduguri (composed.of Al Shabab and fighters from Darfur).

Open this link and read the connection between fulani and bokoharam. You will understand wherwbtheyvget weapons. Remember we used to get reports of bokoharam invading police badraks and army cantonments and rob their armory? Most of the armory in fulani posession come from military stock, they have been retrofitted. Fulani carry them loadedand ready for fire.

This country is at war.

The excess will be supplied to other African countries.
We shall seek to be the literal POWER HOUSE OF AFRICA because we shall generate enough energy to power Africa. cool
Nigeria can't generate 50% of energy needs of Nigerians, yet she was exporting some (the last time I checked).
That is foolishness of the highest order.
