please I want to make an enquiry. how do you perform a background check on your drivers. Does Uber carry out anything like that before they match drivers with partners?

2(i) For 25k rental to hold, driver signs an undertaking to abide by the rules of engagement which is make a pick every mornings 5.30am and Evenings 5pm Monday to friday.

2(ii) rules of engagement is not open to negotiations

So we plenty? Having gone through the rigor of education even up to MSc (industrial Chemistry), I have to settle with e-hailing, it is really frustrating... But brother we won't give up, it's just a phase, a phase that teaches humble beginning and humility. It will end in praise.

At the international Airport, I was lucky to get away with 3k. It was my first trip from Ikorodu at 6:45 P. M, got there late (. Na d money dem collect from me though I no gree make dem tow am, I negotiate chapaly. It's part of the learning curve.

25k weekly isn't a bad idea neither is 35k. Both drivers and partners have the right to negotiate. I gave out my car for 30k, while me SIS's driver is remitting 35k and carshopper gave his car for 25k and plan to go lower( not sure about carshoprr's intention)

Nice thread I must say and I have been following. However, I think you guys are not looking at the possibility of having ride sharing using a bus( high capacity 50 to 60seater buses) that will cater for the middle class. Case study of Abuja that has good road infrastructure but poor transport service.

Good Morning my peeps in the E-hailing Biz.

Just want to share a bit of my experience with a fleet Mgt company that advertised on this platform, it was not a good experience.

A close relative intended to place his car, a 2006 Corolla up for e-hailing earlier this year; I linked up the relative with Carshopper but we could not reach an agreement.

So we decided to test this fleet mgt company, the car was assessed, repairs made, after about a week the car started working.

From week 1 its been one complain or the other, ranging from fan repairs, linkages, shocks, the car's security and so on. During that period, prior advice from Gazzuzz, The Car, and other investors on this forum kept ringing in my head

At the moment the car's brainbox is said to be damaged, most of the parts earlier changed too are damaged, yet full weekly delivery was only paid for about 4weeks. The rest were spent on repairs.

My observations about the company are:

1)They use an incompetent mechanic, incompetence in terms of the repairs required for E-hailing biz
2)They do not inspect cars given to drivers regularly
3)Their client relationship mgt needs a lot of improvement, I tried contacting them severally to express my dissatisfaction but calls were not responded to, nor returned.

My advice to intending investors, please try to monitor your car/driver directly or alternatively place such car on HP.

So we back again ... we have been working behind the scene on how to provide effective transportation delivery.

Coming weeks we will b implementing in all cars DRIVER PACK ... more details on this later

This month we kick off our 25k weekly strategy. We have matched the first car and driver. So with his delivery at 25k weekly, we hope to achieve a monthly flow of 135k when other processes is added.

This processes do not take the driver away from driving IT keeps him DRIVING ....but with ease and more earnings to the driver.
