Princedapace: Okay.. Then, I think blacks should learn to accommodate others with their course.. That is one area we need to grow.. That is why religious intolerance is high in this part of the world..
I don't buy Kanu's idea and that of biafra too but I respect their view and course..
Same way one Yoruba guy is glamouring for Oduduwa republic.. I don't hate him too.. He has right to his views. I can't insult them collectively. Doesn't make sense to me.
I strongly belv that if Nigeria was working, no sane person would av joined any group to disturb the peace of Nigerians..
As long as u don't take away another person's life, I hate u not. we are what we are. Again, when are we going to realize that his agitation is affecting all of us? We have Ibo everywhere, and other tribes in Ibo land too. How can we say his madness is not affecting all of us? You saw how his boys were frisking vehicles to identify people of certain tribes to be killed. What was the offense of poor Hausa man selling yam at oyigbo that warranted the attack on them? Why do they block roads and cause hardship for other road users? Why are people with Nigerian colors on the seat of their cars brought out and punished for identifying with Nigeria by kanu's boys? He incites violence and that could have consumed this country. When do you think his agitation now affect me, a none igbo , when he insult my region and ask people to kill us? Either good or bad, those who will create trouble will readily do that. What's wrong with Spain ? Are there not agitators? Even in the UK , we have brexit and the one in Scotland. Even the UN charter we are talking about, did not give a carte Blanche for anyone to choose any method they deem fit. They're laid down rules to follow. Why is UN , UK, US , France, etc, not supporting the Kurdish referendum or the Catalan's? Once you let your opinion out of your head, it's no more "personal", it's now "public" as it's bound to clash with that of another person- caseless. |

oduastates: Wizkid made a strategic mistake. He went looking for credibility in America and left the floor for Davido. The unique afrobeat sound that he exported was appropriate d by American artists and producers( e.g French Montana's unforgettable was produced by 3 young white producers ) . He ended up becoming just another artists be in America. Davido, meanwhile is cleaning out the dancefloor and people's wallet in Africa . He dips in and dips at will out of the European and American market by engaging the large African diaspora ,without staying ( gradual introduction) . While Wizkid groupie around the USA, Davido is always touring and adding to the 30b in his "acant". It has got to the point that you cannot tell the African essence of Wizkid's music . The last point was the reason why their beef started . Is ponpon sound still relevant? It seem that it still is. This is not about who is the better musician or makes better music . It is about the direction they chose to follow. For me, Davido has had the better year . Davido is doing fine and very hardworking too. In fact, na him frog voice I like pass. Having said that, this award does not in anyway prove wizkid has made the wrong decision- he only expanded his network. |

Hahahhahaha.. If igbos flash their importance on ur face, did they stop u from flashing yours?
Chaii, this country is completely finished ! Who did this to us?
Instead of us to channel our energy and hate against these criminals called leaders, na ur fellow tribes man u dey hate like this
Bro, there are more important things to vent ur anger on in Nigeria like lack of power supply, poor education, bad roads, increasing rate of road robberies etc..
I think we all saw pictures and videos of Algeria the other day, do u think their citizens were busy hating on one another or they faced their leaders?
Bros, since we dont love one another, it is best we seperate and go our different ways. I dont see the point living together but hate one another like this..
We are doing our selves because govt and politicians will continue to use this disunity agaisnt us. Govt will deliver.
I just pity for the generation yet to come. We have disappointed them as masses. quit this blind assumption already. I said "ipob yoot" and not "nd'igbo" in my post . When did ipob become the other name for "nd'igbo"? I served in the east, I have igbo friends and girlfriend...I do not hate igbo. The fact that some of us don't want them to go is a testimony that we actually love them being part of us. I don't lik Kanu, I don't like his foot soldiers . Don't misunderstand this as hatred for the igbo. |

Mcdondayan: At least the are not engaged in the sub-regional sport of head hunting, and the tribal occupation of skull mining. Neither have they made their homes an abode if ritual murder nor a domain of incest and pedophilia. Weed is legal in some countries and some states in the United States. Weed has medicinal benefits. What medicinal value does skull mining have? every thing you mentioned is commonplace in the yeast too. Don't justify crime. |

clevadani: As a supporter of Buhari, no article can change my view of him, only his actions can. He's been a gigantic disappointment so far. How can the leader of one of the most diverse countries in the world be so blinded by ethnicity? In his mind the only acceptable form of government is NORTHERNOCRACY. Trying to justify gross nepotism is corruption in its purest form. I have simply lost hope in this government.I have lost hope in this crop of leaders. They've been ruling the country since d 60s when they were in their 20s and 30s and they will still open their stinking mouth to say we are too young to run. What rubbish. We got independence 2 whole years before Algeria, but look at the two countries today. I've read stories of Nigeria donating oil palm to Malaysia in the 60s. But today they look at us like outcasts. This has got to stop. If you're not benefiting directly from this government, and you are still supporting them, you need to get your head checked. And those of you behaving like you don't care, I pity you. It is time to stop this apathy and become more involved in politics and speak out more. Nobody is going to hand over leadership to the youths. It is too sweet. That's why they'd rather die than relinquish their position. We have to take it from them. It is ironic that the bulk of voters are the youths but 90% of our leaders are over the age of 50. We need to stop being stupid. These men are very wise. They know how to apply the divide and rule tactics when it is time for elections and know that there's no ethnicity when it comes to sharing our national cake. Our future is in our hands. don't support Buhari. Go and sleep. If all appointments are not given to the Ibo, Buhari won't appear to be working. The whole region gave Buhari less than 200k votes got 5 senior ministers. States that gave him millions have junior ministers. And he's still not fair just yet. |
