Nairaland / General / Should I Quit? by Casinger: 3:18pm On Apr 25
Hello Nairalanders,
I have been driving Keke for couples of years now in Ibadan, I am thinking of how to opt out, buy a car and go for Uber/Bolt.

A sound TVS Keke makes 7,000 profit naira daily and 35,000 naira profit weekly, from 7:00am-evening Non-stop in Ibadan, after fuel and feeding.

Note: This is very stressful and tiring, as you have to drive under the scorching sun, shouting for passengers, customer's attitude etc.

I am pondering over buying a new Keke, but since the current cost price of Keke is now 850,000 naira excluding plate number and other necessary documentations (maybe 20,000 naira making it 870,000 naira), I am thinking of buying a car and partnering with Uber/Bolt.

Please, if you're Uber/Bolt full time Driver, how much can one make in Ibadan on a daily and weekly basis?

Can the profit cater for the maintenance of the vehicle?

Should I quit Keke and go for Uber/Bolt?

Alots of questions on my mind.!

Investment / Re: Do I Invest In Micro Nissan Cars For Hire Purchase In Ibadan by Casinger: 2:07pm On Feb 24
[quote author=gbemishile post=99358724]good evening nairalanders.
I am in the habit of trying to create post on investment because my head is just trying to think of a lot of ways to invest and make money.
so something crept into my mind of now and so I decided to post it here to gather opinions about it.
I was thinking of buying Miro Nissan cars and then let it out through hire purchase in ibadan.
I do not know if it is a profitable business to venture into without running at a loss or being scammed by these drivers.
please drop ur comments
[I will advise you to drive it yourself, those commercial drivers are rogues. Have you heard that sometimes they do have three shift of drivers per day? Morning - 12pm, 12pm -5pm, 5pm-till midnight. Unfortunately, your driver won't let you know he's giving to someone else to drive. Make profit when you drive yourself.]

I still believe God will do mine, even after our baby's death, my wife and I have been trying for a baby yet to no avail, I know and I believe that I will receive my New Year's Gift from God even before this year runs out......... Ttcing can be frustrating and painful if only you know what he went through throughout those years of waiting.

MORE READOING ON Jehovah's WITNESSES
https://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Jehovah%20Witnesses/jw_false.htm

No, Jehovah’s Witnesses are not a cult.
Rather, we are Christians who do our best to
follow the example set by Jesus Christ and to
live by his teachings.
What is a cult?
The term “cult” means different things to
different people. However, consider two
common perceptions regarding cults and why
those perceptions don’t apply to us.
Some think of a cult as being a new or
unorthodox religion. Jehovah’s Witnesses
have not invented a new religion. On the
contrary, we pattern our worship after that
of the first-century Christians, whose
example and teachings were recorded in
the Bible. ( 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 ) We believe
that the Holy Scriptures should be the
authority on what is orthodox in matters of
worship.
Some think of a cult as being a dangerous
religious sect with a human leader.
Jehovah’s Witnesses do not look to any
human as their leader. Rather, we adhere
to the standard that Jesus set for his
followers when he stated: “Your Leader is
one, the Christ.”— Matthew 23:10 .

Far from being a dangerous cult, Jehovah’s
Witnesses practice a religion that benefits its
members and others in the community. For
example, our ministry has helped many people
to overcome harmful addictions, such as the
abuse of drugs and alcohol. In addition, we
conduct literacy classes around the world,
helping thousands learn to read and write.
And we are actively involved in disaster relief.
We work hard to have a positive impact on
others, just as Jesus commanded his
followers to do.— Matthew 5:13-16 .

Please DELETE those TWO words JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES OP, because..NO we do not pressurize people to change their religion.

We avoid pressuring people for the following reasons:

*Jesus never pressured people to accept his teachings. He knew that relatively few would respond to his message. ( Matthew 7:13, 14 )

*Jesus taught his followers not to push others to change their beliefs. Instead of trying to force people to accept the good
news of the Kingdom against their will, his disciples were to look for listeners who were receptive.— Matthew 10:7, 11-14 .

*Conversions made under compulsion are meaningless, since God only accepts worship that comes from the heart.—
Deuteronomy 6:4, 5; Matthew 22:37, 38 .

However, those accusations are false. We do not try to force our beliefs on anyone. Instead, we believe that people should be allowed to take in knowledge so that they may make an informed choice.

We do not coerce people into changing religions, nor do we carry out political activity under the guise of religion or offer material or
social advantages to gain new members. This is in contrast to some who claim to be Christian but have dishonored Christ by doing such things.

Thank you!
