1. Depends on materials you use
2. Site location
3. Labour cost around the area where the building is to be erected for example some places masons collect N3000, N2000 and even N2500 and labourers collect between 1000 to 1500

Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, has announced Alhaji Usman Mamman Durkwa as the replacement for his deceased deputy governor, Zannah Umar Mustapha, who died suddenly in his sleep   recently.

LEADERSHIP gathered that Durkwa, is one of the longest serving commissioners in the history of Borno State. His ambition to become the state deputy governor started since coming into the politics of southern Borno, a part of the state known for producing deputy governors.

Following the death of late Deputy Governor Zannah Mustapha, Durkwa’s name was   among those on top of the list of likely candidates to replace him.

However Governor Shettima has sent a nomination letter to the State House of Assembly asking for the appointment of Alhaji Durkwa as his deputy.

Durkwa was the immediate past commissioner, Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Youths Empowerment.

Spokesman of Governor Shettima, Isa Umar Gusau, said the choice of Alhaji Durkwa as   deputy was backed by relevant sections of the constitution.

“The nomination follows the death of Alhaji Zannah Umar Mustapha in the early hours of Saturday, 15th of August, 2015 in Yola, capital of Adamawa State while he was on official assignment.”

“ Shettima acted in accordance with the powers conferred on him by Section 191 Sub-Section (3) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended).
