Unless he has a plan of deputizing someone in APC later in the future which is not even certain because there are other men in that party with such ambition.

Had it been he is wise, he would have used this as an opportunity to solidify his grab or hold on PDP by giving them strict conditions late into the time and giving himself that necessary footings in preparation for his major ambition.
