A NINTH Russian colonel has been killed in Ukraine as the country’s armed forces say 19,000 of the invaders have now died.

Colonel Alexander Bespalov was given a funeral back in Russia but many soldiers corpses have been left to rot on the battlefield, to the despair of their mourning relatives.

Bespalov was a tank commander and he becomes the latest senior officer Vladimir Putin’s forces have lost in the disastrous invasion.

His death comes after Ukraine announced it had "eliminated" Colonel Denis Kurilo, commander of the 200th motorised rifle brigade, in fierce fighting outside the country's second city Kharkiv.

Bespalov was commander of the 59th Tank Guards Tank Regiment, Russia’s 74.RU news website reports.

No more details were revealed about the circumstances of his death but pictures show him with a large number of medals.

Throughout the war, video has emerged of large numbers of Russian tanks being obliterated by Ukrainian soldiers using missiles supplied by Britain and other countries.

Earlier this week shocking footage showed bodies of Russian soldiers piled up after they were allegedly ambushed in Sumy, northeastern Ukraine.

Many relatives of dead Russian soldiers have yet to see their bodies returned home.

Vadim Kolodiy's mum Tatyana has not received the body of the 19-year-old, who died after he was trapped in his armoured personnel carrier.

“No one cares about them. How many of these children, husbands, are there? How much pain had this all brought?”

Bespalov’s death comes after at least seven of Putin's generals were wiped out in the country.

In comparison, the Soviet Union lost just five generals during ten years of brutal fighting in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

One of the other senior officers killed was mown down was mown down and killed with a tank by his own men after leading them to huge losses on the battlefield.

Western officials say mutinying troops deliberately crushed their Colonel Yuri Medvedev of the 37th Motor Rifle Brigade.

As well as tank soldiers, large numbers of elite airborne troops have also been killed.

Haunting video shows the pictures of all 55 soldiers from one elite Russian regiment killed in Ukraine lined up on a table.

The pictures of the dead soldiers from the 247th Guards Airborne Regiment include Colonel Konstantin Zizevsky who was killed in the south of Ukraine.

At the end, a long line of photographs can be seen, testament to slaughter faced by Russia's forces and in particular its airborne forces in Ukraine.

Reports are now emerging of mutinies among Russian troops, with even paratroopers among those refusing to fight.


According to Ukrainian estimates, 19000 soldiers have now been killed fighting the Russians.

A senior NATO official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told AP that figure could be as high as 40,000 captured, injured or dead Russian troops.

This has prompted Russian elite paratroopers to stage a mutiny after witnessing their comrades being wiped out in battle, reports claim.

Among them are said to be soldiers from the 247th Guards Airborne Regiment.

There is this roommate of mine and a friend who snores heavily during his sleep.

This is not that normal snoring we experience the one I am talking about is heavy and seems like life is chocking out of him, the snore is heavy that someone living 3 doors away will hear him snoring with ease.

A friend just called me of how he was embarrassed by his Sister inlaw because of the money she borrowed him sometime ago.

According to him, his Sister-inlaw came to his house last week Wednesday to ask for the money. But unfortunately he did not have the money to give to her but he however promised her on Wednesday this week.

He made the promise hoping that the company where he works was going to pay him yesterday Wednesday. But unfortunately, the company later prosponed it to tomorrow Friday.

Now according to him, the Sister inlaw came to his house today to ask of the cash. When he was trying to explain to her that the company has shifted payment till tomorrow Friday, the Sister-inlaw starting yelling at him with a very loud voice even neighbours around were hearing her yelling. She called him stupid and foolish even in the presence of his wife. Now my friend is highly diverstated, he said he does not even know how his neighbours will start seeing him with the kind disgrace meted on him by his Sister in law.

I've been out of NYSC for almost 6 years now and to be honest, I am still struggling to make ends meet. I work where the pay is nothing to write home about and I have a small apartment I'm managing. It hasn't been easy at all. One of the problems being my mother who I see as a selfish and greedy person. She's this person that I can't discuss financial constraints with let's say an uncle or even my father in her presence. She'll tell them not to assist me that they're spoiling me, that those who are surviving on 20k monthly with wives and children don't have 2 heads.

As in I no get, I brought a business plan to my father. He's on the verge of assisting me and she convinced him not to help me and the man listened (he's a kind of person that even takes decisions from the woman. Sometimes I believe she must have jazzed him or something because honestly, that man doesn't know what he's doing again.

Funniest thing is that if she's the one the man wants to assist with even a million naira, she will be smiling happy. She no go talk say dem dey spoil her o.

I remember when my uncle sent money from abroad through her, she only gave me a tiny percentage . The man sent #500k to her to give me . She only gave me 30k and lied to the man she has given me the whole #500k. It was when I called the man to thank him I got to know. I just played along like I've received the whole sum inorder not to cause another problem between him and her.

Secondly, she always wants to rip where she didn't sow. I can use a pin to count how many favor she has done for me and my younger ones in this life but yet, she wants to make it an obligation to be taking care of her with the little I'm earning despite the fact that she's working and even earning x8 of what I earn.

Fine I'll give you when I have but no she no dey hear that one. Even wen I was doing NYSC in 2016. She called my grandma on phone and was crying that I refused to send her money.. I was dumbfounded. Me wey dey struggle in the streets of Kano with 19k alawee while she is working in Lagos earning more than 100k yet she still wants me to be sending money to her . It's not even that she contributes her salary to the house. It's my father that does everything. Even ordinary filling of gas cylinder na the man dey drop money.. It was so bad she started reporting me to all my uncles. Most of them who understood what I'm going through tried to talk to her but she wasn't having any of it

Thirdly, as I said in the first point above about my father being her puppet. My mother has a car she bought around 2014 and I can tell you she has never spent a dime on that car. Ordinary to use her money buy fuel na war. It's the man that fuels the car for her. If the car is faulty , she can abandon it for months until the man fixes it with is own money. When it spoils again, she abandons it again and the cycle continues. Meanwhile like I said, she works and earn above 100k monthly o. Sometimes I just keep wandering what she uses her money for because there's really nothing tangible she does to the house. (I have 3 siblings behind).

Lastly, this woman has been disturbing me to marry even as far back as when I was serving in 2016. Even till date, I keep telling her I'll settle when I am financially comfortable but she's always never ready to have any of that. Always using people like teachers and fuel attendants who earn less that 20k monthly and have wife and kids. Fine them get wife and born children but their wives are the type you see fighting with their neighbors and tearing their wrappers everyday. Their kids are the type you see on the streets driving tire naked , blowing banger up and down the streets and moving with bad boys.

Why would anyone take a loan they know they won't pay back. Isn't that callous and wicked? That's going to deprive people that are in genuine need of loans. Spreading their I formation on social media is not enough. They should be arrested docked and made to pay the money.

You have to do away with the thought that your wife killed your mother as described in the title of this post. Take it as an accident, at most as negligence on her part.

Your wife should have taken out the portion of the food meant for your mum before she adds salt to the rest. Her laziness and nonchalant attitude cost a life!
