On yesterday evenings show,some one phoned in to ask Femi Obong Daniel about Kelechi Nkoro and Femi had the guts to tell the caller that Nkoro had serious health issues and has to take time off to go and tend to his health because he has been sick for a long time and had just been forcing himself to do the job.

With hind sight I find this a despicable act. Femi Obong Daniel made it sound as if Nkoro had mental health challenges. Meanwhile in actual fact he was sitting on the money of all the other members of FATG.

At least James Akpo System has not resigned from FATG. He can carry on from where Nkoro left off.

Have you read Fela's own account of what happened? Can anybody else know what happened better than Fela? I know what happened. I was alive when these things happened. I don't need anyone else to tell me what happened, but I'll advise you to buy Fela's book "This B.i.tch Of A Life' (in which he was interviewed by Carlos Moore) and read Fela's own account of what happened.

The problem is that people refuse to read up issues and argue blindly. Some of us grew up witnessing these things and have retentive memories. While I agree that Seun is the son,he probably was not born when these issues occurred and who ever told him the stories mixed them up because Fela was involved in a lot of controversial issues during his life time.

I remember this case very well, and even if I had forgotten I would have been reminded yesterday when Femi Falana spoke about it when he appeared before the Lagos State House of Assembly. It's not that Seun is wrong, but he has mixed up two incidents (1) the shit incident that occurred in the 1970s and (2) the murder incident that occurred in 1993.

As people have pointed out The armed robbery case is a totally different story to the poo story. I was in secondary school when these issues happened so I know what I am talking about.
These stories were splashed on the pages of the Punch in those days.
Some one was even mixing the case of the coffin for head of state beatings with the armed robbery case.
I was a regular visitor to the Old African shrine at Pepple street as an undergraduate at Unilag. So you are talking to a true Fela fan. I watched the great man perform as a student and listened to his regular yabis on the yabis night.

This is the truth coming from a Fela fan.

The real story is that Fela was on Decca label owned by Abiola. There was an argument over record sales and royalties, so Fela and his 27 queens and all his band boys headed for Decca records and illegally occupied the place for days until they were ejected by the police. Fela then hired some night soilsmen called agbepoo to go and dump buckets of poo poo(shit) in front of Abiolas house over night such that the occupants could not exit the house in the morning.

Trust me there are the good guys. For every single problem with any car, there is the solution here in Nigeria (as long as you dont have to change d radiators of a bugatti to double cell ) , just be prepared to spend good money, coz quality doesnt come cheap.

It is not spending money that is the problem,the problem is after spending the money and you feel that the technician has done a wishy washy job and to top it up shows no remorse.

Thanks for this thread which is long over due. Quite frankly I do not believe we have air conditioner technicians for cars in this country. Most of these technician's rely on trial by error methods. Right now I have two cars and the air conditioners have been savaged by so called air conditioner technicians.
They have replaced condensers,evaporators,dryers, radiators etc to no avail. They air conditioners will work for maybe a month or two and then pack up.
Just so frustrating.

LMAO. I'm not holding briefs for Coogar but this time around, almost everyone was wrong about LvG including me. Nobody ever thought LvG would end up a monumental failure he is. I didn't even believe in LvG when he was first announced as our coach till I saw his exploits at the WC and I thought we were getting another SAF. With the abysmal tenure of Moyes, every United fan was genuinely happy we got LvG; it turned out to be a useless move. I curse the day we hired LvG, and if Coogar was wrong in believing LvG was the truth, then make that the whole United fans.

Most United fans thought Louis Van Gaal was the real deal,when he put pen to paper.
I even thought it was the Iron tulip era.
In the end most United fans were glad to see his back.
While I think Jose Mourinho is a total upgrade on Van Gaal,I will not get over excited until I start seeing results and the type of players signed to the team.

Van Gaal prefers to play ugly football and draw 0-0 or
1-1 then to play beautiful football and win 3-0.
It is his philosophy. Keeping possession, never taking risks,keeping the players in strait jackets, passing the ball side ways and back wards like a crab.
No flair players can ever thrieve under Van Gaal because he does not like risk takers.
This game with Palace is gonna be very close and tight. We might even fall asleep watching it because of Van Gaals boring tactics. Hoping United win the the end but I am certainly not sure.

This is a cup game and a one off.
Pardew played and lost in the 1990/final so he will be motivated not to lose again. Zaha also has a point to prove against a club he feels never gave him a chance to prove himself.
United should be strolling these kind of games but we have to take into consideration that our formation depends on the side of the bed Van Gaal wakes up from.
If Van Gaal has a brain storm and decides to play people out of their best positions or decides to introduce weird tactics then the game could be closer than you think.
The game could even go into extra time or penalties.
We are talking about Van Gaal here!

I've got a feeling Pardew and Palace are gonna be up for it today. Zaha too has got a point to prove. Should be a close game considering the fact that United are coached by Van Gaal,and he may come up with some weird tactics and Looney bin formation.
I hope United win but I just can't wait to see the back of Van Gaal.

Queens college,Yaba is a cesspool of corruption. Take it from a person that knows. From the principal down to the least worker to the parents/teachers association executives. Take it from a parent that knows,because I enrolled my daughter in that school two years ago as a JSS 1 student,but I had to convince my husband to withdraw her when she came home on holidays and told me extremely disturbing stories.
My daughter was in the bording school,and told me that on weekends,some male teachers would regularly come into the female hostels in the night,wake up all the female students in the bording house and organise a dancing competition for them,playing music on a hand held device. The girls were forced to dance in their night gowns while these male teachers oogled and cheered them on. My daughter jold me that this took place every weekend under the excuse of exercise.
I brought this matter up with the school authorities and the PTA but it was vehemently denied and covered up,because the PTA executive are in cahoots with the Principal and they share the 97 thousand PTA levy they bill all the JSS1 students every first term. In order to protect my daughter who was traumatised that she was being made to dance in her nightie every weekend for perverted male teachers,I withdrew her from the school at the end of the JSS1 session and enrolled her in a private school. She lost one year but I am glad I made an effort to save her from potential predators.

You should have spoken out earlier. You have the financial might to withdraw your daughter ftom Queens college and enroll her in a private school. What about other parents who lack the financial power to withdraw their children from the school and their children are stuck in the school with male prefators called teachers. Are you saying you would have kept quiet on this issue if this scandal had not come up. This is unfair in my humble opinion.
