Akinwunmi Ambode is a product of a godfathers imposition. He is not a product of democracy. Ambode can not give what he hasn't got. Ambode can not move against his creator who elevated him above all other candidates at the last election and imposed him on Lagosians. Ambode can never make a cabinet change of commissioners' in Lagos without showing the list to the Jagaban. Quote me anywhere. |
All service providers are irritating with their silly calls and adverts. True caller and call blocker apps are their kryptonite. |
We lost to a better and faster team. Let's deal with it and move on to the next game. We had a bad day at the office. Simples. We will get better. |
The above is for that idiot1c woman asking how big is the Sambisa forest. People need to educate themselves because a mind is a terrible thing to waste. The Sambisa forest is a game reserve bigger than the whole of Lagos state. It starts in Borno State and extends to Jigawa and Kano States. It borders Cameroon and is covered by all kinds of thick forest and high mountains. It is the perfect kind of place for terrorists to hide and wage a guerrilla war. |
Geography The Sambisa forest is located at the northeastern tip of the west Sudanian Savanna and the southern boundary of the Sahel Acacia Savanna about 60 km. south east of Maiduguri the capital of the state of Borno.[1] It occupies parts of the states of Borno, Yobe, Gombe, Bauchi along the corridor Darazo, Jigawa, and some parts of Kano state farther north.[1][2] It is administered by the Local government areas of Nigeria of Askira/Uba in the south, by Damboa in the southwest, and by Konduga and Jere in the west.[1] The name of the forest comes from the village of Sambisa which is on the border with Gwoza in the East. The Gwoza hills in the East have peaks of 1,300 meters above sea level and form part of the Mandara Mountains range along the Cameroon-Nigeria border.[2] The forest is drained by seasonal streams into the Yedseram and the Ngadda Rivers.[3][4] Climate Edit The climate is hot, dry and wet with minimum temperatures of about 21.5 °C between December and February, a maximum of about 48 °C in May and average temperatures of about 28-29 °C. The dry season is from November to May and the wet season is between May and September/October with annual rainfall of about 190 mm.[3][4] Wikipedia® MobileDesktop Content is available under CC BY-SA 3.0 unless otherwise noted. While I accept Bayo Onanugas right to defend his principal, but this defence is outright ridiculous. We are in a freaking recession for crissakes, one more false step by this clueless APC government and we will descend into an economic depression in which Nigeria becomes a completely broken down country. We are in danger. Big danger and Buhari has no clue of how to get out of this mess, even though he pretends that he knows what he is doing. |
All pastorprenuers in Nigeria live like rock stars. They only flaunt their wealth in various degrees. Private jets, designer clothes and bags, designer hair cuts and beard. Bodyguards to protect them from plebeians like me and you while the poor congregation keep on funding this obnoxious lifestyle with our tithes and contributions which they acquire tax free. I wonder how many more young girls this pastor has banged since he banged Ese Walters in that London hotel room. Countless and these groupies are still on line, waiting for him to bang them. He is living the best of life's because people are gullible. Religion in Nigeria is the greatest scam ever conceived by man. Opium of the people indeed. |
I think all Nigerians, myself inclusive, who trooped out to vote in this APC government into power owe our unborn generations an apology for foisting this clueless and mediocre Presidency on this country. Above all we owe Goodluck Jonathan a sincere apology. APC government is a disaster and a serious scam and until we rise up and resist their lies they will continue to take the citizens for a ride with their false anti corruption war. Don't be surprised that Lai Mohammed will come out and with a bold face blame this fuel increase on Goodluck Jonathan's government! |
beautiful232:OK. Waiting patiently..... |
Obilo123:Very true. |
beautiful232:Yes,now it is somebody's father, son ,daughter or mother that has been kidnapped o. |
beautiful232:C'mon, show a little sympathy. |
Back to the future. 1984:Big Brother is watching you. We are in serious trouble under this government. A bunch of sanctimonious pr1cks and Kuntz. |
Some of the comments on this thread are saddening. What was the crime of the innocent Chibook girls other than that they wanted to be educated and make a better life for themselves,so they attended a school to get educated. A group of misguided, savage Islamic hegemonists invaded their school one night, two years ago and abducted them and carried them away to heaven knows where, disrupted their education and turned them into sex slaves, forcefully married them off and forcefully converted them to Islam. The present APC government campaigned and promised to set them free if they were voted into power. Nigerians trusted them and voted them into power but two years into the administration have the APC freed the girls from captivity? No,rather they want to sweep the matter under the carpet. Pretending that the matter does not exist, and using propaganda to make us feel they are trying to bring the girls back, when they are doing nothing of such. A group of mothers/women called Bring back our girls under the leadership of madam Oby Ezekwesili have refused to allow this matter die a silent death but have continued to cry out and keep the issue of the Chibook girls on the front burner and refuse to allow the matter die a natural death as the APC government wants. They should be commended rather than be condemned. When we condemn the bbog group we are only playing into the propaganda of the APC. We need to think deeply because this government does not want us to think but to swallow hook, line and sinker their propaganda. When you condemn and laugh at the bbog group you are only a puppet on the propaganda line of the APC. |
Mr President needs to purge himself of his dictatorial and messiah syndrome and listen to honest advise from true religious leaders like his eminence Archbishop Okogie. Nigerians are hungry and angry. No single electoral promise has been brought to fruition and yet this APC government expects us to grin, bear and pretend all is well? Mr Buhari will be held accountable for all his electoral promises. 2019 is just around the corner. I bought a Euro for 460 Naira today. The economy is collapsing everyday. Darkness from epileptic power supply is now an every minute companion, yet the government expects us to continue to pretend all is well? Archbishop, may you live longer and provide honest and truthful advise unlike some deceitful religious leaders we know. |
ehissi:Go back and read the interview again. I asked pertinent questions, 1. How does she apologise for the Buni Yadi massacres, where blood thirsty Boko Haramists invaded a male school set fire to the dormitory and waited for survivors to come out and then shot them? 2. How does she apologise for the Haramists blood thirsty bombing of the United Nations building in Abuja? How does she apologise for the Haramists bloody thirsty bombing of Police headquarters in Abuja? 3. How does she apologise or shift blame to Oby or Mrs Obama for the uncountable savage Haramists attacks on Churches/Christian places of worship? 4.What of numerous savage attacks on markets, motor parks and various military formations? 5.Are the Chinook girls the only female abducted and forcefully married off by these group of savage islamist hegemonists? Who do we blame for all these acts of savagry and declaration of war on the Nigerian state.and Education? In conclusion what was the offence committed by the poor school girls in Chinook, other than the fact that they wanted education and knowledge? But sadly a group of misguided savage terrorists said women/girls/men must not be educated or enlightened. And one woman called Aisha will come here and be playing on our collective intelligence and try to defend Book Haram? I find this disgusting! |
chrisley024:Oh...I did not know that Jose has already given you the line up for the derby? |
This woman is a Boko Haram apologist speaking from both sides of her mouth. According to her she never met Shekau face to face but said Shekau was the one always preventing her from Seeing the lat Mohammed Yusuf. How? She glibly defends the Boko Haram kidnap of the Chibook girls and conveniently blames the failure of the rescue of the girls on Michelle Obama holding up a bbog sign. No Madam Aisha, I refuse to be fooled. What of the school boys the blood thirsty savages called Boko Haram slaughtered in Buni Yadi? They shot those school boys and burnt all the survivors inside the hostel. This happened a few weeks before Chinook abductions. Who are you going to blame for that terrorist act? What of the terrorist Boko Haram bombing of the United Nations building in Abuja or the bombing of the Nigeria Police headquarters in Abuja or the bombings of motor parks and markets by these blood thirsty terrorist savaged called Boko Haram? The journalist asking her questions failed in his duty. This woman needs to be questioned very well! |
Take Darey off that your list at once. |
pelvicky:Quite frankly I believe he will and hope for a fast counter attack goal. I am not in his mind but I believe against your main rivals you do not need to play pretty to win. You patiently wait for your chance then, WHAM,and then you close shop and wait for another chance to do more damage. |
City score a third through Sterling, although I have a gut feeling that West Ham should have got at least a draw if Bilic had set them up to attack. City look vulnerable to a fast counter attack in my humble opinion. West Ham were set up in the first half not to conced but ended up conceding two goals. Looking forward to the Manchester derby with a hell of a lot of confidence. |
Pep certainly looks nervous. West Ham are having more possession in this half. This is certainly no two team league. |
West Ham have pulled one back. In my opinion Pep looks worried. |
Stevostical:It should be - 1.The world in my pocket OR 2.The paw in the bottle. |
Maybe your girl does the same to her sisters suitors. Maybe it runs in the family.... |
Ode-fool or imbec1le. Olodo-Dunce or idiot. Dodoyo-spit dripping fool. I don't think pet names like this are suitable in any way for a loved one. The problem is that young people today probably don't know the real meaning of these words. I am all for a playful relationship/marriage but the play can not include insults. By the way why would I want to insult a person I claim to love? |
Bailly has been a beast so far, winning everything in the air and on the ground so far. Blind has been complimenting him so far. Felliani has got his confidence back and Rooney gave a superb assist by getting beyond a solid Hull City defence to lay a good pass to Rashford to score a VITAL goal. Glory, glory Man United. |
BABANGBALI: ![]() |
United for ever! Last season we would have lost or drawn this game confronted by hoard's of Hull City defenders. Thanks to our new signings and the teams never give up mentality, installed by José Mourinho we got the three points at stake. Cheers all round to our team. Hull City set up layers and layers of defenders but we finally got through in Jose time. I believe we will do something this season. Glory, glory Man United. O am starting to believe again.... |
Good one. Well done for winning the third place match despite all adversities. You and the boys did well against all odds. Just don't let them persuade you to come back ala the late great Stephen Keshi. Nigerian football is being run by square pegs in round holes. Disgusting. Just imagine how heroes like Keshi ,Shaibu Amodu and Sunday Oliseh were treated. Pathetic. |
