TV/MoviesRe: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by CBNIM: 11:23am On Dec 26, 2015
ifyalways:
I watched the L- world like 2 years ago so I can't remember the casts but my favorites were :
The girl that went into movie directing/acting after writing a book. Her struggles after she ran away from home, being able to manipulate the old , rich movie producer to sponsor her movie and make her a director too.

The carefree make up artist( Alex?) . She/he was never able to stay faithful to any of her/ his partners.

The radio presenter and her military boyfriend.

What's the name of the couple that had a child again? Mommy Bee and teacher? I disliked the fat one( the one that birthed the child) cos she appeared to be manipulating her partner, plus she could switch from straight to bisexual as long as there's something in it for her.
yeah, me too. personally, my favorite was Bet, I mean she's hot, strong, intelligent and smart with a great deal of great fashion taste. I also liked Alex (the radio presenter) and her military gf. the bisexual lady that birthed the child would be Tina!
You don't like core lesbian stuff? you don't find it intriguing? cos I do!

btw, I kinda like you ma'am!

For shows with adult content, look for any drama series from the stables of HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Starz & Cinemax.

For funny and interesting shows, stick to Netflix, CBS, USA, Syfy, AMC, HBO, Showtime and ABC.
thanks bro.

'Course! They gotta be pretty with nice figures, else, what's the point? wink
can you recommend good series with great storylines and with good deal of adult contents like GOT, power, sense8, spartacus, and ones with funny yet interesting storylines like suits, HTGAWM, greys anatomy, etc?

No such thing, bro. The female folks are inherently bi-sexual & bi-curious.
I kinda agree alittle!

So you're into gal on gal, huh?
nope. just helps me understand girls relationships more, I often wonder how a girl and a girl could be in a relationship with all their drama and ish let alone marry.

Oh, you've just reminded me.

The L-world was good. I loved the fact that it had storyline besides hardcore lesbianism.
yeah, the storyline is good! plus, I kinda like watching lesbian sex scenes /relationships, helps me get a glimpse of what goes on in their world. I basically liked sense8 cos of Naomi and her gf!

It's difficult especially if it's a new union but not impossible.

Understanding + Trust is key in this kinda situation to avoid story that touches the heart.
What ever you do, be sure both parties are in agreement.

Will you lot quit the blame game already?

Why is the woman almost always at the receiving end?

Oga is emotionally unavailable - she is needy or clingy.

Oga refuses her sex - she has lost her mojo.

It's always her fault.
No one cares to find out more from her before dropping words of counselling.

Her husband doesn't find her appealing anymore and she's most certainly to be blamed.
Mr Man is free to do whatever he likes till Mrs Woman puts herself in order.

What kind of mental enslavement and oppression is that?
Gosh!
Aren't there supposed to be two people operating as one in this type of union?

Whatever happened to mutual respect equity and fairness?
What?

Smh
wow, I'm impressed to say the least! Never knew we still have Naija women that could be this intelligent. Give me your digits asap.

When ever we are disseminating information in a forum like this, let's always act and say the fact we know and ask for those ones we don't know. Information is power if it is the right one. For an intellectual to be vituperating wrong information in a forum that is accessible to the world is a dent and disgrace on the person, image, integrity and his or her almamater. Even in this word of ICT where someone can easily go on the web and extract any information you want to know, yet some people are so gullible to the extent that they believe everything anybody told them. That is the level we have found ourselves in this country. Reading has become an "old school" hence we become jack of all trade when it comes to information gathering and dissemination. Can you please explain that "bolded" to us in this forum if indeed you have confirmed that NOUN or Law course is not accredited by NOUN? What is the name of NOUN doing in JAMB brochure and NUC website under the column of Federal Universities if it is not yet accredited? You can confirm that here. http://www.nuc.edu.ng/pages/universities.asp?ty=1&order=inst_name&page=2 . Why do we have NOUN as the 37th best institution on webometric ranking? http://www.webometrics.info/en/Africa/Nigeria

Also, http://www.nou.org.ng/accredited-courses-and-programmes-in-national-open-university-of-nigeria/

NUC is not the body in charge of Nigeria Law school but "The council of Legal Education" read more below.
http://www.nigeria-law.org/Legal%20Education.htm. NUC as a body has accredited NOUN's Law course but it is CLE has not which they are already working on. Shalom
I don't have to trade insults with you, nah, that will amount to degrading myself to your level!

Just so you know, I never said NOUN as a tertiary institution is not accredited as you opined up there. I said and I still repeat, for now, as far as NOUN is concerned, studying LL.B programs (LAW) at NOUN is a very bad idea for any sane student (s) especially freshers who aspire to be called to bar (practice) upon graduation , because you and I know NOUN law graduates don't go to Law school for now. And you know that without this all important law school ish you're as good as a graduate without a certificate, simple.

I don't know why you're so pained by the truth when you know it's that obvious. You also attested about this same truth(that NOUN law graduates don't go to law school upon graduation for now) in your write-up. Why then deny others the privilege of been abreast abinitio with this very truth and also knowing what they are getting themselves into, for them to then decide whether to go for a program that will prolly leave them stuck in the middle at the end of the day, even after huge amount of energy, money and time have been sacrificed or to opt out?

I said this because I know of some current students undergoing LL.B program in NOUN without the slightest idea, that for now, they won't be called to bar upon graduation . And when discussing with these set of people, you discover that they are filled with deep regrets .And I'm sure you will want people to ignorantly keep making same mistake right? Seriously SMH for you sha!

For prospectus students, I repeat, for now, you can study other courses at NOUN, but for Law? well do so at your own peril, until NOUN sort itself out. A word they say is enough for the wise. Unless you just want to study just for knowledge sake and not because you want to practice as a lawyer for now.

Don't bother quoting me further, cos I won't be giving you the luxury of replying again.

I have nothing against NOUN, I only stated the obvious, it's left for people to choose what they want with their lives.

Shalom.

LL.B program is accredited in NoUN by NUC. The only challenge they are having now is between NUC/NOUN and CLE concerning law school which is being resolved and being an insider, I can tell you that resolution of this challenge is at the top phase. Thank you
The crux of the matter remains that upon graduation as far as NOUN and LL.B program are concerned you won't be called to BAR for now and you know what that means! More like a self -acclaimed graduate without a certificate.
Then tell me if it's worth the bargain.

Well, good luck to you, at least you knew from the onset what you were getting into unlike most who doesn't.

yes, they are working assiduously to resolve the ish with CLE, they are on top of the matter, they are at the verge of finalizing the whole matter, blah blah! The truth is, that has been the story for years now and this is 2015 and NOUN is still telling the same story to her students. Now tell me why a sane person (especially fresh students) would prefer to gamble with his /her future and with that which will prolly get them stucked in the middle at the end of the day? Well, their lives their choice.

I only reiterate my stand so that people will beware especially freshers who outta frustration from jamb jump to NOUN for LL.B program without the full knowledge of what they are getting themselves into.

I repeat, for now, study other courses at NOUN? yes, study LLL.B (LAW) at NOUN? Capital NO! do so at your own peril! Unless you only wanna gain knowledge and not necessarily to practice as a lawyer.

N/B: I'm not by any means trying to discredit NOUN or discourage people from seeking admission in the named Institution. I only stated my opinion.

Shalom.

I couldn't help but counter the opinion and not facts of the thread https://www.nairaland.com/2496607/disadvantages-national-open-university-nigeria that appeared on FP earlier on(Dont know why the op is so pained)I finished from a conventional university and presently pursing an LL.B program in NOUN.
Why waste your hard earned money plus time pursuing LL.B program in NOUN when you know you won't be called to bar afterall, because LL.B program is not accredited in NOUN for now.

I pity some people sha who waste their time and resources studying in an institution that's not accredited by nuc, because you won't be called to BAR after study. And if you're not called to BAR you can't practice and won't be regarded as or called a lawyer. Unless you're doing the program just for knowledge sake.

S tudy other courses in NOUN but LL.B, Hmmmm, you're on your own ooo! Infact na only you Waka come.
