mayweather145: what about trump, the American president.... he is 72..... to me its not based on age. but on intelligent initiatives to move the state forward ! He is not just talking about age, he is telling you also that is same people still ruling since then till now. When did Trump become a politician? If Trump was American president when Buhari was Nigerian president back then, Trump wouldn't still come back to rule America again. If you leave Buhari, he will put Nigeria in his pocket and rule forever. |

Daboomb: There are too sides to the bolded. First, l think we shoudl encourage TRUTH, through recording of information for evidential use. So, in that sense, l wills ay it is right ot record events. But what most Nigerians dont know is that there are laws/rules CONTROLLING the way and manner you can record in public, depending on what you are recording.
a) Are you recording YOURSELF? b) Are you recording A CROWD? (where no one in particular is targetted) c) Are you recording a A PARTICULAR PERSON?
In all three situations, the RULES guiding them are different and if you are not careful, you can even get into serious trouble (invasion or violation of privacy), if you dont do it properly by following the rules applicable.
Now, to the case of the Policeman, he is a Public Officer of the law and l see no reason why he shoudl be worried over 'his public actions' being recorded. I suspect he was just uneasy, having being 'cowed' by the woman (You know Niaja Police dey fear Big men and Big women ), he just was not very comfortable with his image being put on the internet. I dont think it was becaus ehe did anything wrong and WITNESSES present have corroborated that position and even the Video the woman recorded after snatching the person's phone further butress this assertion).
But looking at the video, it is EVIDENT that the woman did lash out at the officer. So that explains the slap. It is also evident that she seized his phone, to prevent him from having evidence of the job he was doing! Why is that? it is also evident that she was trying to implicate him by lying that he was at first "TOUCHING ME", and then that changed to "HITTING ME" when we can all see in the video that nothing like that was happeneing! So, from day one, her evidence is already tainted with lies.
Honestly, the woman needs to be prosecuted in a law court to serve as a deterrent to others. Breaking the law and then assaulting a uniformed officer is a serious crime, not minding whether you are a celebrity, a rich person or the daughter of the Chief Judge of the federation Thanks for the explanations. The woman might be wrong and probably trying to record the video when it will favour her....maybe, I don't know. I think the officer was wrong too, for opening her car trying to take her phone to delete the recorded video, I don't think it was necessary. That means she is recording from inside her car. I think we should be free to record police officers when interacting with us. I think the police should provide a body camera for the police officers too, and in a way they cannot tamper with the video. |

I don't know if they cassava is different from the ones we have in Nigeria. |

vincentjk: Lonely days
Murphy and i have faced serious issues within just two years, Infact there came a time i even put Murphy up for adoption (even Nairalanders were very surprised seeing these pictures) and a lot of compliments and questions were asked.
Someone bought Murphy, my dog wasn't happy at all leaving home and i felt so guilty within myself, having lonely days through out without seeing Murphy . After two days, I returned the client's money and took Murphy home because money can't just buy love at all.
Murphy was round 1yr 3-5months when this happened. You are lucky the client haven't fallen in love with Murphy at the time, they would have been like "sorry the deal is done, please go look for another dog". |

I really do not like earpiece? I prefer a headset, but not the type that look too big. I used my Plantronics P590 for about 9 year, and i bought it for about $160 USD in 2006 or 2007. https://i66.tinypic.com/mskd1g.jpgIt still works, just that it has fallen down too much and I mistakenly slept on it couple of nights, so one of the ear side breaks. I still can't let go of it, it been sitting around in my closet for 3yrs...lol... It really served me well. Planning to buy another quality one when the money comes.... Been managing some under 1k cheap earpiece for some time now. The last two i used is OFIA and lasted about 2~3 months each. https://i65.tinypic.com/52l00g.jpgBut I really liked the OFIA, though they have different models. I am currently using this one now. https://i64.tinypic.com/qya2wz.jpgIt has an Apple logo on the white small case, but i know is not from Apple and probably Aba made. But I like it somehow, don't really care much about who made it. Been using it for 2 weeks. Modified: I used another headset called Runix Reed as a replacement of my Plantronics, bought it about $60 usd from online store. But did not last i expected, it lasted a little over a year. I had it around my neck when a little rain dropped, the next day it didn't work again... Maybe water got inside. |

who do you think are the manufacturers of the so called made in Nigeria/ ghana cars? one way or the other the manufacturers are still Japanese. To me all they do is assemble in disguise as manufacturing. They just change the vehicles that are built already and emblem their brand name on it.. Mr Man, car manufacturing companies mostly do not manufacture everything in the car themselves. Even in Japan, one thing or other can come from other company. |

So dumb to ask for change, unless you go in the Church office or where they count money to ask them to break the money in pieces for you. Other than that is so dumb to put offering money and ask for change. Giving offering is not by force, if you have no other money and don't want to give out all the one you have, you can skip offering and give next time. |
