It's a pity, I see some sick comments here. Do you realise under this new law If you're caught giving a begger money you'll be fined or jailed for 2 years?! How sick can a government be when you enact a law and cannot provide a means of living for some of these people who are homeless and helpless as a result of their disability.

The only time I stepped into a public primary school was to work for the government (Service Things). It was in Lagos and I couldn't believe in Lagos State "MegaCity" there could be such worse places than KiriKiri Maximum Prison.
The environment was worse the effect could be seen in the pupils. Every sector of the government from the Local to the Federal is to be blamed for the poor state of Education in Nigeria.

I understand your point. Some people can't stand people speaking a local dialect they don't understand in public. Freedom of speech is everyone's right so putting someone down because they are speaking their local dialect is an abuse of their right to speak.
We all are free to speak whatever language we desire so long we ain't abusive towards one another.

On a personal note though, I can't speak any local dialect fluently, maybe it's because I never grew up learning one. But I like the Nigerian languages (igbo, yoruba and hausa especially).

Femi Kuti is one of a very few living prominent musicians that can still address the shortcomings of the bad government in their songs without fear or favour.

Trying listening to some of his songs (available on itunes or hardcopy album) or better still attend any of his international concerts if you can afford it.

P.S For the Benefit Of Doubt. Below is a screenshot of my current account balance and my current bonus (I do make a lot of calls daily).

Surprisingly to me, MTN is getting better. I'm not sure if I'm the only one here or maybe it's because MTN had ripped me off for over nine years now and they decided to thank me.
A friend sent me #1500 credit. After my recharge, I was rewarded with #1500 bonus to call "ANY" network. I thought it was a joke but to my surprise it wasn't
I called all networks with my bonus except for international numbers which they charged for.
Last week Friday, I got a text saying I should recharge and get weekend calls for free, which I did by recharging #1500 and to my amazement I got my #1500 bonus and a whooping 24 hours to call MTN numbers for free from 12am on Saturday to 11:59pm on Sunday.
Right now I'm rocking more than #3000 worth of bonus on my line to call "ANY" Naija network. I only recharge if I have to call international number which now costs #33 per minute (reasonable to me).
For the First time in Nine years I'm now Saying with MTN "Life Is Good"


P.S: I'm just an average consumer of MTN products with no connection to MTN staff or Management at all. I like to think I'm not the only one enjoying these benefits.

Converting to a religion just for material reasons is tantamount to stupidity in the wake of vanity.
Christians are converted through Evangelism (teaching and preaching of the Word of God) and most converts accept the religion based on the fact that they have faith in God and His Beloved Son (Jesus) and NOT because they were promised scholarship or some 70-virgins bullsht.

I only commented about some of the flaws of the yoruba movie fans and some peeps are assuming I meant the whole yoruba tribe are touts?
It is these same biased assumptions that lead so many of y'all to believe all Hausa/Fulani are violent because of the "boko haram menace" and that most igbos are gullible for money because of the so-called "kidnappings in the east" or that most Yorubas are touts and rogues because of the "agberos and area boys" most common in the west.
All I addressed was the misconception that touts and fans are thesame as assumed by the actress in question.
It happened to a Yoruba movie actress in a densely populated area of the Yoruba tribe (Ebute-metta) which could only mean majority of her "fans" in that area could be the "Yoruba Fans" which I meant and some peeps still feel I should just use a generalized term like "Nigerian Fans" just to excuse the Yoruba Fans of their Tout behaviour.
