Romance / JUST-IN: Many Feared Dead As Multi-storey Building Collapses In Abuja by cecegorgeous(f): 7:22am On Aug 24, 2023
The building is located at the ever-busy Lagos Street in Garki village area of Garki II district of Abuja.
A number of people were feared dead while many others are still trapped in a multi-storey building, which collapsed amidst heavy downpour on Wednesday night in Abuja.

The building is located at the ever-busy Lagos Street in Garki village area of Garki II district of Abuja.

An eyewitness, Tanko Dabo, who was at the scene after the incident, said the building was housing many apartments, while the ground floor was full of shops.

He said the building collapsed during the heavy downpour, which started around 11:50pm late Wednesday night.

“There was wailing all over the place after the building collapsed. Dozens of people are either dead or trapped as the building was fully occupied.

“It was a scene of helplessness with people screaming and running helter-skelter, while the heavy rain continued,” he said.

Meanwhile, a Facebook user and former aide to the immediate-past Minister of the FCT, Ikharo Attah, who took to his Facebook page to post the incident in the wee hours of Thursday, said seven persons had so far been rescued and evacuated to hospital, while others were still trapped.

He confirmed that a rescue team and other first responders were on ground at about 2am carrying out rescue operations.

He lamented that the rescue operation was, however, slow due to the ongoing rain at the time.
“They are making frantic efforts at getting an excavator to remove people from the rubble,” Attah wrote.

a. Lost my youngest brother in 25th March, 2000 while he was playing football with some friends and two boys were there learning how to drive. He was the goalkeeper that was how the car came behind him and smashed his death could not make it to the hospital I almost ran mad didn't know the worst was ahead
b. Three months after my only sister put to bed she died after complications from the breast surgery she had that was on the tth January 2012. At that moment I just knew my mom won't last
c. My mom dead exactly a year after her death she just couldn't be consoled. I almost killed myself at that time, I lost many relationships then because I can be smiling now and the next thing am crying. I was already depressed but at that state a word of God dropped into my heart and it has been my strength since then. I still remember them and cry

Health / The Baby With Two Heads: Mother Gives Birth To Conjoined Twins by cecegorgeous(f): 11:05pm On Nov 13, 2015
A Bangladeshi mother has given birth to conjoined twins - with two heads but one body. The baby was born on Wednesday, November 11, in Dhaka, Bangladesh by Caesarean section and is currently receiving post-natal care at the government hospital. A doctor at the Standard Hospital of Total Healthcare where the baby was born, Abu Kawsar said that tests showed the baby has only one set of vital body organs but two heads. "Except for having two heads, the newborn has the rest of her organs and limbs like a normal newborn." he said. The baby’s condition could thus be an example of the very rare congenital condition calleddicephalic parapagus where the baby is born with two heads but only one body. Although, people often think of a baby with the condition as a single person with two heads, the baby is actually a set of twins who share the same body and vital organs. The baby's father Mia Jamal, a farm labourer said he is happy mother and child are OK. "She has two fully developed heads. She is eating with two mouths and breathing with two noses. Still, I thank Allah that she and the mother are now OK,' he told the news agency AFP.

Romance / Five Apology Languages by cecegorgeous(f): 5:17pm On Sep 03, 2013
Apology they say is more than words. There will always be offenses and always will apology,if there must be reconciliation.
The languages are
1. Expressing regrets
There are several ways people apologize and also how they understand the apology. In a relationship where there are different individuals and backgrounds, apology will be understood by the dimension of expressing regrets lik'i am sorry'.Even if you buy them a car its only a palliative measure. If there must be reconcilition, study how your partner accept apology.
Acknowledge your wrong doings and give details of how you it has affected the other person like when you sent a message which says the person is just 'a clumsy clumsy form clumsy person'at that moment just say how sorry you are.
If you don't know how to say am sorry watch cartoons and you will see how am sorry just come out of their mouths like it really does matters to them if they don't say it.Your saying 'i am sorry' doesn't dismasculize or disfeminize you,but it is the show of strength.
Many relationships have been in ruins today because none of the partners wants to say'sorry'.
2. Accepting responsibility
To this person saying 'am sorry' its not just enough but rather take responsibility of your actions otherwise your apology will be insincere.Maturity is being responsible.
Nigerua is where it is because most of our leaders comes from irresponsible homes.why go into a relationship when you can't take responsibility.what you don't stop now the arguments, fight, will definitely stop you if you don't take actions.
3. Making restitution
Replace things that were taken away when he or she must have said 'i will make it up to you'.If it is the communication let it commence immediately. For this people apology is understood by actions. There must be works to match up with words.
4. Practical change
This people wants to hear'i will never do it again' before the apology will be accepted. There must be visible signs to show the changes.
5. Requesting forgiveness
There is a difference in saying 'am sorry' and asking 'am i forgiven'. Ask for forgiveness and wait to hear response before you conclude that you are forgiven.
In summary, a proper apology should include:
a. A detailed account of the situation.
b. Acknowledgement of the hurt of damage done.
c. Taking responsibility for the situation.
d. Recognisation of your role which lead to the offense.
e. Make amends and let everything go back to how they have been.
There are power and benefits in apology, start it now.
