he can run for senate while still being governor. The only clause is that he can't hold both office at the same time, and his tenor as governor ends in January, and the 11th senate will be sworn in June 2027. So he will complete his term as governor in office, no need to resign

this war as related to strait of hormuz is no longer a military one, it is an insurance one. The thing is even with the military agreeing to escort vessels across the strait, the question is WHICH INSURANCE COMPANY IS READY TO TAKE THAT RISK AND INSURE THE Ship? The answer is NONE, it is too big a risk to take. That is the real problem on why ship will refuse to go through even with military escorts.

if the election should hold today, zelensky knows he will loose woefully, his people are against him, because this war has put him in the billionaire class, as well as the forced enlistment into the military. The day he suspend the martial law, is the day he has no constitution power because he is no longer the president, because his tenor has since expired. His 5 year term ended in May 20th 2024

Putin can never meet zelensky, and he(zelensky knows). If Putin meets him, which means he is) legitimising him as Ukraine president.. Coz right now Ukraine does not have a president and until election is done any agreement Zelensky sign with anybody is null and void. Only the head of RADA(like a Parliament) can sign a deal pending when election is done, and guess what, Zelensky Had forbid Anybody including the head of RADA to talk to the Russian side.
