What Nigerians don't understand is they need to support Buhari, there are some vested interests that have a demonic hold on the country. They have chosen to let Nigeria remain in darkeness since 1960 they don't want to see Nigeria light up and progress as a country. Now we have a leader that wants to probe this vested interests and yet some people on nairaland are opposing the move.
We can have some of them locked up and stop some of the damage they are doing to the country, don;t you want to see the country progress.
I also believe it's the same vested interests that fought against Jonathan when they weren't having their way and packaged buhari.

for the SS people to vote GEJ is understandable but as for the igbos the hatred is too much, even in the north votes that PDP got there was fair and SW because their vote was also fair... Come to think of it do the igbos want biafra or Nigeria cos from the look of things it seems like they want Nigeria to crumble so that biafra can succeed and from all indications they are the Scavenger in other people's land... BIAFRA is a fake Dream the igbos should accept their mistake and apologise to Nigerian and then move on with their lives...
The SS ain't homogenous. an efik and urhobo are as similar as a Yoruba and Nupe. the APC got nearly 25% votes in IMO presidential polls with the influence of okorocha. That means the Apc had a lot of Home work to do to make inroads in the southeast as only credible leaders could have convinced them to buy the "buhari" brand. So, you agree that the election was a trans-regional alliance and the more populous side won- Q.E.D

How I wish baba will do more for the igbos so that one day they will tell their children that when change came to nigeria they rejected it because the want nigeria to crumble so that their children will continue to suffer.
Include the efik, ibibio, anang, urhobo, ikwerre, isoko, etc. that voted gej en masse.... And also 40% of the Southwest.

Like I said, your paranoia is your own made up nonsense and what you have to deal with on your own. You PDP losers are sorry losers because you people are yet to get the memo that elections are over the APC/GMB won. Look up and down NL front page, it's full of you losers anti GMB rubbish, insults, derogatory nonsense and name calling from illiterate to cattle rearer, baba one chance, wishing failure and other nonsense so look in the mirror before spewing garbage.

The folks in all the tribes you mentioned have practically accepted the fact that GEJ lost and besides, they are were not out there spewing divisive, tribal and bigoted nonsense you people are peddling even after the elections. Again look in the mirror..
The emboldened is reminiscent of
"clueless drunkard", "retar|deen, Jona|daft , etc.... the name calling hasn't even begun yet. I also believe you can't tell what ethnic group one is from by the mere username to conclude that it's only ibos that are still spewing venom. The Ibo only happened to be a majority group in the.SE/SS region...

But why is it that only those who didn't vote for Buhari are making demands @owokobiri?

I am really ashamed of Igbo people for putting their eggs in one basket. Now that Buhari has won, they are trooping to visit him and making demands as if they voted for him. The demand they didn't make when Jonathan was in power.

Anyway,I am happy Rochas won and Imo state is now governed by an APC governor. I really care less what happens in other SE states.

I really don't care!!
Well, Rochas was a revolutionary beneficiary on the platform of APGA before he bitched off to APC. So, apc had nothing to do with his reelection as he's a performer to the core....

It is the same way they endorsed GEJ because they don't believe Buhari would come top. If Buhari were PDP candidate, they would also endorsed him and dump GEJ. Always wanting to eat already made food.
Now go change ur pampers kid bro.
Hey, loony... PDP has lost elections in the southeast convincingly a couple of times especially to APGA. The buhari brand wasn't bought in the southeast, now gmb has to really show he means well for them because not all the allegations were unfounded. Gmb has shown traits of ethno-religious chauvinism in the past.... Antecedents matter. Go suck on your bottle, toddler.

No, it's not.... you can check previous posts on NL since gmb won. I've also seen comments on other social media and clearly, the gmb supporters have gotten more divisive in victory. They could have as well forced us to vote their general at suya knife-point. By the way, I never heard them condemning the ibibio, efiks, urhobo, issoko, anang, kalabari, itshekiri, etc. for giving gej nearly flawless landslide votes as well. Why ibos?

Pull out NW and NC results of 2011 and ask yourself why the 360 u-turn in 2015.
What are the GEJ policies that are meant for the SE? Apart from the auto policy that Innoson and few others in the SE can tap into, there is no other beneficial policy to the SE outside the lopsided political appointments.
The northern pdp governors and politicians turned their back on the party to attain their 2019 power rotation agenda. Now at the emboldened, for the SE, that is enough to be shown appreciation cos they've hardly Been recognised like that since after the civil war. The word "marginalisation" became nearly extinct on the lips of SE folks in gej era.

Now, could y'all also channel your tirades to the efiks, ibibios, ijaws, itshekiris, anang, kalabari, etc. that gave gej landslide votes as well in this election and not just ibos?

No, you need to wake up. The fact that you bought or didn't by any change is irrelevant at this point because the Nigerian majority bought it and this is the reason why jona is heading back to otuoke.
Fair enough, so can you buharists go and bask in your "change" euphoria and stop heckling a group of people for DEMOCRATICALLY voting in line with their conviction? over 40% of Nigerians can't all be daft. We look forward to the new administration.

Right from d word GO, they never gave Buhari a chance, they never wanted him. They are their own enemies. In 2007, Orji Uzor Kalu contested for presidency, Kalu is their own, they never endorsed him. But they are quick to endorse an Ijaw man because they have sold their conscience for a cube of red maggi. Pathetic lots. Buhari must thread cautiously with them.
You said they never wanted buhari, then turned around and said they rejected kalu (in favour of yar'adua). Now you're blaming them for supporting an ijaw..... Go take your meds, man.

Leadership is not wishing your opponents dead, it's about acting like adults and elders, not spewing divisive and insulting comments against other people, not looking out for your own pockets instead of looking out for your own people and their interests .

What's the situation like back in iboland after 16 years of foolish and unproductive sojourn with the PDP? What have they or their people benefited? Nothing...
Not everybody bought the "change" hype. Wake up!.. dunno if you were expecting gmb to get 100% votes. Are you telling me that ALL the NW votes were cast based on rational issues? No!, the average NW person wanted their brother and champion in aso rock. The one that got the simple majority was declared winner, simple. Now let's look forward to the new administration.

oh, remind me of who killed corps members and other nearly a thousand innocent people after their "demagogue" lost. it's the Southwest that I agree that they voted try out alternatives. The southeast were totally satisfied with gej's policies and intentions of which they seriously doubted if gmb had such plans for the SE.

If you are not clannish, why so much collective rejection of APC in the SE? What is the reasons for such amount of venom towards the party from Ibos prior to the elections.
Even in the SW that happens to be the base of APC, PDP still got decent and respectable percentage of the votes, some places over 40%.
While APC with all the efforts was having miserable votes of less than 10% in most SE states, if that is not clannishness, then you need to give us your own definition of the word.
Bring statistics from the NE for comparison...

Your hate has always made you blind to the bigger picture.

Even in defeat an Igbo would never be humble. I really wonder how you live with yourselves in the East? Oh! I just remembered you can't stand each other so you would rather migrate to Sokoto or Cotonou.

Even the Ike Nwachukwu you mentioned is already being alluded to as a mallam by Igbos on this very thread because of his mixed heritage. That he fought on the side of Nigeria even makes him a saboteur, as Igbos are wont to describe their foes.

The enemy of the Igbo is the Igbo.
How exactly were the Ibo defeated?... Would you say that the hausa/fulani were defeated in 2011 when gmb didn't win? Stop being ridiculous. FYI , these same men will endorse gej a hundred times if the election is to be rescheduled a hundred times. Live with it, it's democracy!.. And GMB can't dare neglect the southeast and SS, cos the federal character imbibed in the constitution wouldn't let him, and it'll be politically daft if he decides to show bile towards those regions.

While our Igbo people are busy seeking GMB attention, respected members of PDP from other zones have maintained a dignified silence to assess their loses.
Election ain't war. The elders above didn't go to visit on a political platform. They're a socio-cultural platform and have to pay homage to who the simple majority of electorates voted to be president. The PDP chiefs in the southeast and other zones will definitely do their calculations.

Jonathan lost because he was weak. Patience wouldn't even lose an election against Buhari if she was president.

GEJ messed up big time. He wanted to give free and fair elections to Nigerians and this is where it landed him.
Jonathan losing the elections doesn't make the provision of free and fair elections a weak or clueless move. One gotta follow the textbook tenets of democracy for it to grow.
