dinachi: If....so you are doubting that. Well thank God for Buharis victory! Igbos now know their real enemy....the Ijaws! Never again will we vote for a conniving, clueless, silly bowler hat wearing Ijaw man. Under Buhari, we will push for compensation for the abandoned property ...at least we will get a fair hearing. Jonathan the hater of Igbos will never get our support ever again. We will also push for the cancellation of the second niger bridge toll gate that Jonathan initiated to humiliate the Igbos and put us in perpetual slavery for 25 years. You guys are seriously overrating this grandpa. Even I, his avowed critic , am not expecting so much from him. |

mulante: I suspect that the APC government is going to introduce inheritance taxation in Nigeria. It's a good move with onerous implications for the tax payer. One could lose up to 40% or 60% of his inheritance depending on how benevolent or malevolent the lawmakers decide to be. Nigerians vehemently opposed subsidy removal and the lekki toll to mention a few. I wonder how they'll take the news of VAT and sundry tax increase. |

GenBuhari: Why is this news?
Handover is meant to be done without announcing every step to the press.
America that is committing genocide in the name of Bokoharam is surely planning with it stooges in Nigeria's presidency to stop Buhari becoming president, all this leads one to suspect, they are planning coup. All this is an attempt is an attempt to launder GEJs image so that when Buhari is eventually denied his mandate to rule by whatever means, GEJ could be cleared of suspicion.
All of us must do what we can to protect the General and his incoming govt, before it is too late. Of all shitty conspiracy theories, this one takes the cake. |

PointB: Infrastructure and Industry is what Imo State badly need, and that's why I gave example of Peter Obi, Akpabio and Willie.
Rochas didn't do much, even though the state allocation is not much, but I believe he could have done better. And I still think he's a better choice than Ihedioha and Iheanacho! Noted. That's constructive. |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Says Imo Supplementary Election Unnecessary; Claims Victory by ceejayluv(m): 1:13pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
PointB: The UBE does not cover tertiary education, unlike Rochas 'free eduation.' Can you say he did 'justice' his promised free tertiary education? The policy was not properly thought through, poor articulated, and haphazardly implemented.
I prefer a thinking leader for Imo State, Rochas is not one. I doubt if Iheanacho or Ihedioha are either.
Iheanocho of course has his military background, while Ihedioha, just like Rochas, is more or less a career politician. All poor choices.
Someone in the mold of Peter Obi or Akpabio is what Imo State need. I'll even settle for Willie Obiano.
Look like we are stuck with Rochas for another four years! In terms of infrastructure, what do you have to say? |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Says Imo Supplementary Election Unnecessary; Claims Victory by ceejayluv(m): 12:47pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
waternogetemeny:
Imo state traditionally is a PDP State. Where did you get that pile of crap from?.. Apga has been doing well in IMO in previous elections but were out-rigged. "unfortunately", rochas decided to b|tch off to APC doing serious harm to apga's regional conquest ambition. He's been forgiven but I doubt apc will survive there after he's gone. |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Says Imo Supplementary Election Unnecessary; Claims Victory by ceejayluv(m): 12:42pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
PointB: Loath him or love him, one think you can't take away from Rochas is that he's a maverick.
i don't support his 'free education' policy because of the way it was implemented and also because I believe base on the fact on ground, free education is not Imo State immediate need. But if the people want him back and the oppositions (PDP and APGA) are unable to forge a united front to rescue (or wrestle) Imo State from him, then let him continue to be governor.
Hopefully, he see his mistakes and improve on them.
APC should make no mistake, Imo State voting for Rochas is far from voting for APC! The vote is for the man, not his party! Well , the free education policy is an implementation of U.B.E policy. He's decided to pay the counterpart funds and has done justice to the policy in the state. I don't think that can count as a minus anytime. |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Says Imo Supplementary Election Unnecessary; Claims Victory by ceejayluv(m): 12:39pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
Mynd44: If the number of registered voters is 144,000, he leads by 79,000 votes..that's grounds for it being inconclusive
But if the number of PVCs collected is not up to 79,000, that is a victory but so as not to disenfranchise people, they must vote but he still wins IMO state has a pvc collection rate of 95%, so I guess they could give it a shot. Rochas will still definitely win though. He's done well and has been forgiven for nearly destroying Apga at its prime. |

seanbond00: I think you are daft.
These are the few intelligent igbos that do not deserve to be hated in Lagos.
They are seen as part of our brothers because they have the mentality of a true Lagosian. Most of my Igbo friends grew up here and they reason like a Lagosian and not the ones that came from the village to spoil their image. You're clearly the daft one here, as I never referred to you earlier. FYI I'm "Lagosian" by upbringing and I've spent a few years lately in the East. You can never understand the core easterners until you live with them in the hinterlands. |
